Great news Fiona :-D :-D :-D.You better get that strength of yours built up by Christmas lol.Sofia and a new Baby .That will be fun ;-) ;-)
Congratulations to your Daughter and her OH.

I think my Olive tree could be almost dead :-( :-( :-(.It is looking very sad and brown.I have asked at the garden centre and they said to give it a really good feed and to scratch the bark until I see green and prune it back to the green.
Trouble is I'm not sure that there is any :-SI think I will wait until after feeding it before scratching and pruning.

I think the weather is beginning to turn .I just noticed a little rain and it definitely feels colder now.

Mandy ,do you need a clothes peg? ;-)

They say things come in three's, well here comes the third baby, my daughter (Harry's mum) is expecting again, baby due in October, I'm not supposed to say anything until her scan but that's only a week away, it's really hard keeping the news to myself.

Hope you are okay Frank after that fall, you have been under quite a lot of stress lately. Thank goodness summer is on the way and we can all get out in the garden and relax.

I always pay my car tax on line Mel, it's so quick and easy, no rummaging around to find insurance and mot certificates.

Finley is at the terrible two's stage, he's been there quite a long time according to his mum, we were out the other day with him in his pushchair, he threw his bottle of water so his mum said right you are not having it back now, he turned around, screwed up his face and said to her .......MEANIE ....... it was all I could do not to laugh.

No rain here yet, but very cloudy, and the wind seems to be getting up.

Had a lazy day, apart from reading and sending e-mails. I have read my book for a while.

Dinner all prepared for this evening, Roast chicken, new pots, swede, peas and carrots. Bread and butter pudding ready to go in later also.

It's so nice to have the place to myself, NO TELEVISION ON.

Feel a bit shakey today. Could be the result of last night.Only myself to blame. Bet I will sleep well again tonight, feel tired just thinking about it lol lol

Trust William is comfortable with his ailment, and that Kim is resting after her trip to Sydney.

Jane I bet Fitz looks like he has a zip fastener across his tum.

Going to get a cup of tea.

See you later.

Afternoon all, looks like my favourite dcotor has sorted out my problem, bless him. So far so good on his antibiotics. It's amazing how much good it does having faith in someone. Over the years I've looked after Carmel as her Carer, we have come across three medical specialists who have moved the goal posts for her and it's amazing how much that can mean for a patient. We have a good local hospital and we are all hoping that it doesn't evntually close and become swallowed up by Coventry University Hospital. It might seem like a four star hotel but it has a lot of drawbacks. It's even been on Midlands TV several times because the traffic in and out just snarls up at times because there is only one entrance for a mega-hospital! Even ambulances with patients on board are kept ages in a queue to get in, especially when the air ambulance lands. Someone didn't do their homework in the planning!

Changeable here today too but we got back from the shops before the showers started. Our forsythia has been absolutely 'blooming' brilliant this year, never seen it so good. It even looks better than ones we've seen when we've been out and about. A glance out of our kitchen/diner window is rewarded with this brilliant yellow shrub, which unlike other years, shows no sign of fading yet.

Thanks for the Easter card Frank, it was so cute. I love the Jaquie Lawson cards too.

Thanks to every one who has been concerned about me, I really do appreciate your thoughts.

I'm going to have another go at my family tree again now. If I don't catch you later, I won't be on till Thursday, so don't think I've had a relapse LOL.

Yes it will be an exciting Christmas.

Also congratulations to you too Maureen, great news.

Mandy how long has your DIL got to go to her due date now?

Thanks for the easter Card Frank :-D :-D

it's stopped snowing here and the sun has come out and dried up all the wet paths etc, you wouldn't even know that it had been snowing at all this morning.
At least the children in the street can get out and play now.

All these babies! :-D :-D.I think Mandy's son's baby is a July one. That will be a little girl.Poor Jake was desperate for a Brother.

Frank I meant to say how sad you lost your beautiful BLUE TREE.I remember it last year and it was stunning.I was having a look at our huge Bay tree.Chris lopped a lot off last year and it must still be a good 20foot tall. There are a lot of leaves that have gone brown on there, just like my Olive Tree :-S.We brought that tree from our last house in a small pot in 1991.It was about 12inches high then.

Congratulations to the Grannies!! :-D Maureen, it sounds like you are going to need that straight face quite often....the little monkey!!! lol Our garden doesn't look relaxing yet, still heaps everywhere, but not so much left to do this year.

That's good Larry has got a job Jane. he sounds very resourceful as jobs aren't 2 a penny just now. I bet Janice is pleased. I hope she doesn't need another operation, sounds like she has had enough with that knee now. I can't remember your Olive tree......thought you meant the Bay tree at first.......now that is HUGE!!

Mandy, I think if we had a dog OH would BLAME the poor thing for ALL those kinds of smells!! :-0

William I'm glad things seem to be going along ok for you now with the antibiotics. That's not good news about Coventry Hospital.........OH has to take his mum there every week for 6 weeks soon!! It is a good job he allows plenty of time. I think he will drop his parents off and then go to a supermarket for a coffee to wait till they ring him.......will be less hassle than parking there I think!

Frank, fancy ending up on the floor like that! It's a good job you managed to get up or Ros would have had to give you a pillow and quilt on the floor. Thank you for the lovely Squirrel easter card, we have seen them burying nuts in our pots before. Hope you feel less shaky now......you have been doing a lot lately sorting that tree out and cutting up the branches.

OH is on his way to a match at Vauxhall Motors with his buddies, won't be back till about 1.00am!! He has set up the radio for me to listen to his report in about half an hours time. Might go and get me poached egg on toast....just fancy it!! :-D :-D

Jane Report 3 Apr 2012 18:41

I think Frank's tumble out of bed might have had something to do with his Pints and Sloe Gin Ann ;-) ;-) ;-) Only kidding Frank :-D :-D :-D
My Olive tree is in a big pot on the Patio.I might take a photo of it tomorrow and show you how sad it looks :-(

.
Mandy it sounds like it could be time for your son to have his Tonsils out.He seems to be getting tonsillitis an awful lot.My James had his out when he was about 16 after many years of trouble. He hasn't looked back.

Pat I often feel a bit envious of people who have family close by.We have none :-S

I think I can hear Chris ,so will go and see what kind of day he has had.I never know what to expect :-S

Nice steady rain coming down now ,chilly so the heating is on .

Baby is due the 30th of June Fiona, DIL has been back to the doctors again today , she's been having a lot of nose bleeds ,she been given more cream the same as last time and has to use it for two weeks this time.

Ann, hubby blames poor old Toby some times !! i always ask ...is it you or the dog !! LOL

I think that's what it will come too with son Jane , he's had trouble with his throat since christmas !!
Looks like it's going to pour all day tomorrow !! and hubby was going to have Thursday off and we were going out for lunch some where , when he came in he said he's working thursday now ,so shall we go out for lunch tomorrow , not sure i want to go out in the rain !!!! we'll see.

William Report 3 Apr 2012 19:20

Ann, your OH has the right idea, it will certainly be cheaper than trying to park at Uni hospital! Even though they lowered the prices a bit. We were there for a long time for an appointment for Carmel one time and it cost me £7.50p. Then, when she was admitted for almost a fortnight, it was costing me a small fortune when visiting. Long live George Eliot hospital I say.

That's me lot for tonight, except to say, Frank, please STAY ON the bed this time!!!!

Congratulations Fiona or should I say to dau no. 1. I don't think a Christmas baby will like it when it is older, but a lovely time to have a new life in the family for the parents and grandparents.

Hav'nt caught up with all of your posts yet but dinner is nearly ready.

We had a short sharp shower and I had to bring the washing in quickly. Then a bit later the sun appeared again. It is still out now!!

Ooo there's the buzzer, rice is cooked.

Mandy I had big trouble with my nose when I was pregnant. Not bleeding ,but blocked. It disappeared after I had Hannah. But after James I still couldn't breathe through it.Ended up having an operation to thin out all the lining of my nose.It wasn't pleasant, but by gum it did the trick.

I was in Tesc*(as usual) lol. It's my second home don't you know :-D.Anyway I was in the queue at the check out and got talking to the lady in front of me.We were talking Easter Eggs.I told her I still buy a Yorkie egg for James(26years old). She told me her Mum still buys a Beano annual every Xmas for her brother who is 53 lolol.I really miss buying an Egg for my Mum.When she had Dementia she was like a child when she got Easter Eggs. They didn't last long :-D
Just realised that if my Dad was still here he would be 90 today :-(.He was just the best Dad and chose me to be his daughter. That was the biggest thing he did for me. :-D :-D
