Lovely sunny & warm. had to change out of my jeans into a pair of light weight trousers. my legs were burning.

SIL not comeing down till 5.00 , thats good means we can do a bit of tidying up in the garden and not have to stop before we are finished.

Fitz hasn't actually been told when he can go home ,but I think Tuesday was mentioned as a possibility.He needs to eat something though ,as I doubt they will let him out until he can eat and also go to the loo for a p**.I saw his OH earlier to give her her birthday flowers.She is looking worn out.I think his Mother is up to her tricks of being difficult and pathetic :-S She takes herself off to bed and won't eat or drink.Saying she is seeing things too.
This is why she should have gone into respite care for a few weeks !!!.Anyway ,enough about her.

It has warmed up lovely now.I have just changed into a thin top.I spotted next door (MR) topless just now !!.He is usually wearing a thick army type jumper.Chris is busy planting things,and I am in charge of the oven.
I think the ironing can wait.

I wonder whether Hannah is out in London watching all the Sport Relief things going on.It looks a great atmosphere.

Good news about Fitz being allowed out on Tues. Will the District Nurse be looking after him , or will his OH be able to. Or will is come down to Nurse Jane ????

Didn't they raise a lot of money for Sports Relief last Friday, over £5 million. and they say there's no money around.

Another sunny day here but not quite so warm i think .

Went to sons for coffee this morning then on to see sister as it's her birthday today .
BIL has had a lot of pain with his arm , i thought the op was for the Carpal Tunnel, but that's the other arm!!! , this op was to get back the feeling in his hand and to help build up the muscle in his hand , he is cut down the back of his elbow and has to keep his arm bent .

My poor thumbs!! i have been stitching new elastic to the clips of the base of the spa !! last year a lot of the elastic lost it's stretch so i thought i would stitch on some new, what a job , i've done four ,there's two more to do and i ran out of elastic !!

Did everyone remember to put the clocks forward !! we did some last night and the rest this morning .

Frank , it will lovely for you both to have a nice break ,you'll sleep like a top with all the sea air !!

Yes, we are recording Titanic on the big telly in the lounge........it should be good. Later we have decided to watch 'The Rite' we recorded. A psychological thriller with Anthony Hopkins in it! :-D

I hope your BIL soon feels more comfortable with his arm Mandy. What a nuisance having problems with both arms. :-S I can imagine your sore fingers after sewing through a few thicknesses. Mine were still feeling bruised yesterday morning.

I love Mocha's red collar with the little 'bones' on it Pat. Good to see him enjoying being outside after being poorly.

Had another lazy day. Went out in my car today with the roof down and shades on.........felt really summery! You can't half hear those electric cables sizzle when you go under them though........not as nice as the birdsong, caught a whiff of muckspreading too! lol Called on MIL and her legs were quite swollen today after coming off water tablets. She sees the specialist about her bladder trouble this week so should know what they intend to do then.

What a great offer Frank, it will be a real pick me up a few days by the sea. Sounds like you need NEW shorts though!

We tried some red onion and mushroom crunchy coated things with melted cheese in with our salmon salad tonight......not impressed! They were from Mor*isons. I think we'll stick to the melty camambere with the crunchy coating from Sain*burys in future.....love those with a salad. :-D

Bright and sunny again but there is a cold east wind.

Poor Mandy sore fingers I know just what you mean. I need to put a new lining on the swing chair cushions as they only had that horrid webbing stuff on them and when oh picked them up he put his hand straight through it. I did buy a sheet in the hospice shop to used to line the underside but never got round to doing it because I know I will have sore fingers trying to get the needle through the other fabric.

I watched Titanic last night and did'nt think much of it. Thought it was a bit week after seeing the film. Am enjoying Upstairs Downstairs though now I have got into it.

Hope Fitz is getting on well now and will soon be out of hosp. Sounds like his mum is playing on the fact he is not home! Poor Gorgette.

Mandy that sounds awful your BIL being cut down the back of his elbow. I supposed him having to keep his arm bent is because if it heels to tight he would'nt be able to bend it afterwards.

Oh what a night again, was in bed by 10.15 pm read till 11.00 then the brain kicked in with so many memories, I was still wide awake at 2.00. Took another sleeper.and finally got off to sleep. When I woke at 8.30. I was like a zomby and still am now. Have showered and shaved, and still in my dressing gown.

It's 8 years today that I had my STROKE. and spent a month in hospital, Seems a lot less time, but oh how I wish I could go back to as I was. !!!

Feeling very gloomy today, So will go and get dressed and have a sit in the conservatory, and lick my wounds.

Have been poking around in the orchard and found my white forget me not that I thought I had lost!! It was growing in the grass usder one of the apple trees so I dug it up and potted it. I am so pleased so perhaps I can save the seed again this year. :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

The posting was very difficult this morning/afternoon Kept getting error notices, didn't think my post had gone. then it went THREE TIMES. When are they going to get it sorted. ????

Have just sent an e-mail to an old friend, and got loads of my chest. He's known my for over 45 years, so can take my moans (broard shoulders)

Have also had contact from a girl I went to school with, She lived at No.8 and I lived at 21. Bought back lots of memories, of what we got up to all those years ago.

We were going to Town this afternoon, but thought twice about it. Ros will be going with Carolyn tomorrow, so we will make do till then. We won't starve. I have done a Spag Bols sauce for tonight, so only need to put the spaghetti on tonight, and away we go.

I'm off to the pub again tonight. Man Utd. V Fulham. COME ON FULHAM.

Lovely day , got all the bedding washed and dry, and have been spending some time sitting in the garden with my book.

Hi everyone I sent a complaint to Genes and it seems my problems been solved. I see Frank is stuttering a few times not like me though I nearly died and have stayed off for that reason it repeated so many times and it took me one hour to remove them because I could not bring the page up.

This weather is lovely and I have been sat on the front step waiting for customers to come in too hot in the shop Only two customers both would you believe it moaning it was too hot. !!! no pleasing some people.

It sounds like Fritz op went well I am pleased.
Mel so many versions of the Titanic they are bringing the one version out the big movie they made in 3D and would you believe it I complained the studio was cold and pokey when we saw Marigold hotel and they sent us two tickets free to see Titantic in 3 D. Nice thought on someones part.the Kate Winslett version I mean of course.

Maureen Beryls got three daughters mentioned them before. Cassandra
Elvira and the other names gone out of my head. Old age really setting in. Cassandra lives three doors from us. Fatel now the girls all collect together at her place and walk up and down our lane causing havoc with anything in trousers or without. Little Jason my friend who is sixteen and
a cook and brings me roly poly pudding in a basin with a cloth over it
says they are the three roly poly pudding on legs he runs everytime Cassy sees him because she pinches his cheeks and says whoes a nice looking little man then and sends him into some kind of state he comes in our shop and says I have seen her one of those fat ones from up the road she says fancy a date and lunges at me . My ho cracks up laughing
and says you should push your poly poly pudding in her face that would stop her.

I do have a nice big fence but the stupid cat manages to climb over the shed from the neighbours side into our garden and then cannot get back
we have a wall by our fence and I am expected to climb on it and push pussy over. when I say men without trousers mean shorts thought I had best add that.

Glad your getting a rest at the seaside Frank one does think about the past when you get older. I think about my mum a lot lately she was a nice old soul but very snappy and people talk about her not very nicely to me and it upsets me.

Did anyone watch Britians got talent the Welsh choir the man in charge of those boys was Matts choir leader and the songs they sing are what Matt sang all over the world and in the USA. I cried it brought all the memories back .I phoned Jessica and she said I would loved to have seen that. .I could see them winning because if they sing some of the songs Matty sang they should do well. That is if that 17 year old lad with the poor girl Simon insulted does not win but who knows. Gosh what a powerful voice.
I thought that man had retired who conducted the choir .

The rash I had in my head and on my ear was something I picked up from Tunisia the shampoo I used out of the hotel was the culprit. I got friendly with a lady called Joyce who e mailed me and said she had it also. it is still there but not so bad after effective medication


Sophia came into our shop today shes now twenty two stone and came in to buy six packets of crisps and a packet of biscuits. I tried to get past her in the doorway and we were wedged together like a sandwich. I said Soppy move your crushing my ribs and she said Me it is you your bigger than me. Cheeky monkey I am now a very nice twelve stone and can now get my jeans done up. But cheeky Sophia. Sophia told me she went to her sisters and sat on her coffee table and it collasped. I am not surprised I said and she said Oh NO NO N O NO thisa table wonky legged. I was there the other day when she removed her bra and it is bigger than ever well lets say had I been closer she would have knocked me with her kn/oc/////.

Mandy have a dreadful pain when I cut out lots and lots of decoupage
in my thumb joint and its got a lump on it where the scissors have pressed on it and its very painful.

The tarmac been done and the road nicely marked outside and would you believe it someones got a skip with sand and left it all over the area in the road by us its a mess. The neighbourhood watch man suggested we get it up..

it is so nice to wear tee shirts and sandels my feet were getting very sore round my heels due to the wet cold weather. I could hardly walk.

Kim its a shame your poorly and cannot see friends .I had a spot of depression really bad and I felt so tired.I did not say anything to anyone
but at one time felt like topping myself. I kept thinking about Mohsen when he said to me I cook and we laugh together why you not want me in your home now and tears fell down his face. I love you he said you were my real mum. Michelle kicked me to say if you are nice I will kill you. I just said Mohsen you have had so many chances love and now it is over go and try to be a better person. I said you ruined my daughters life and she loved you. I walked away with a stone like pain round my heart. I remember a man offering me a monkey on a stick pushing it in my face and I said no and something very rude was said to what he could do with it. But wanted to cry. Mohsen and I did get on well and I miss him. Now I do not think I will bother to get close to people again.

shes got a good job but Sunday she was in tears and she said it hurts now it is really over . I said remember all the bad things he did .

The man John next door had a stroke Frank and he had a bad fall last week. But he keeps bouncing back .I sometimes wonder how he manages it . But he is eighty odd . I sent his wife some flowers because she never goes out .

Must go now Jaspers come in with the garden stuck to his face.
Beryl interuped my thread Donnies sat sunbathing in just shorts and looks like Red cabbage she said. I was nasty I said well pickle him then.

I've not been in for Sunday dinner for more than a month now, keep getting invited out, went over to son's for a roast yesterday, very nice, always tastes better when someone else cooks it. Little Finley came running up and gave me a big hug and a kiss .....aaah.

I feel quite worn out now, went off to Westfield this morning, thought I'd have a look around for my wedding outfit. I have seen a dress I like in Coast, it's just a bit pricey. Tried on loads of dresses, Westfield has so many shops I thought I'd probably get lost, had to ask where exit was in the end. Keep coming back to the first dress, so I will probably end up buying it.
