I am almost persuaded to get that dress, will go up town and have a look around if nothing else takes my eye I will buy it.
Sheila don't beat yourself up over Matt, I am sure there was nothing anyone could have done, I am a believer in fate, when your time's up that's it.
My daughter spent a fortune on those nit shampoos, nothing seemed to get rid of them but she read on the internet that you should completely smother the hair in conditioner and comb it threw with a fine tooth comb, seemed to work. If nothing else they will all have nice soft shiny hair :-D
Is this weather only going to last a few more days :-( Rain would be good ideally at night and wake up to sunshine everyday.
Since William mentioned Caterina's ample bosom I can't help but look everytime she comes on, think she might be a bit top heavy now for skating. Have much preferred these judges, Loui gets on your nerves a bit but they all seem to give constructive critisim.

Afternoon Boys and Girls.Phew ,it is hot!!.It must be the hottest day of the year. Hi to Pilgrim Father. I never went to Saturday Pictures :-( :-( We were a bit too far from a cinema.I think I was probably having a riding lesson instead.Or mucking around down on the beach.
I haven't read through the posts yet today and I see there are loads :-D :-D
Thanks for your Kestral pic Mel.
I went to see Fitz earlier on .He is so pleased to be back home. He's just lying on the settee resting up.Maybe tomorrow he might be able to sit in the garden if he feels up to it. All my bedroom curtains are now washed and back up :-D and a lot of weeding done too.So I am quite pleased with my efforts today.
Now ,what to have for dinner????

That sound's like a lovely afternoon out Fiona.I seem to remember one of mine screeching when we went in a tunnel.I also remember once we went to Wookey Hole and Hannah was totally petrified.I can't think how old she was then.Thinking back though we should have had more sense and not taken her in the caves. It put her off for many years,in fact into her teens :-S
I can hear the pine cones cracking in the heat.what a lovely sound that is :-D :-D That hose pipe ban is getting very close now :-S :-S.I'm dreading it.I bet we will end up with a load of tough veg from the garden :-| :-|
Chris is just in so better go and say hello.

Hi Everyone,
More Beautiful Sunshine! The hedges have started to burst with fresh green and there is tree blossom everywhere. Makes you feel good to be outside.
Sorry Sheila, I must remember it is 'Sherman' like the tanks dad talked about in the last war. Yes, I bet you see some sights in the park too! ;-)
Mel, it is nice to be able to lie in when you feel like it......recharges the batteries. You did well to get that pic of the Kestrel, the colours in the plumage are beautiful. I tried to get one of the Kites in the back field, but just couldn't find them in the viewfinder as they keep moving!
Welcome Pilgrim Father, sorry I don't remember the ditty either......might be too young as well! I do remember Saturday morning pictures though. What else can you remember?

Mandy it will be lovely in your spa........I could just do with it now! My feet are killing me. I went with OH to Nuneaton this morning to collect his new specs and had a walk round while he had them fitted. Then he took me to Lichfield to the bead shop I couldn't find last week. It was much easier to find from this direction......well that's my excuse!! ;-) It is a fantastic shop with trays and drawers and shelves of beads everywhere. Some walls are covered in strings of beads from ceiling to floor. Everything is priced and the ladies are so helpful......I was in there over an hour!! lol Even OH was amazed, but he left me to it and went off to look at the other shops and came back with a charity shop book bargain he was chuffed with as he nearly bought it a while ago for over £10 more! Then we went a walk around the market in the centre. There are some lovely old timbered buildings so OH wants to go back with me again and have a look at the Cathedral. Since I was a little girl and would go with mum on the train, I have only driven straight through Lichfield on journeys. It was nice to see it hasn't been spoiled too much. Then we called at a garden centre on the way back and had a bite to eat and a walk around. I shall be very glad when OH gets his aircon fixed on Thursday.......it was boiling on the way back!! Now I have a bit of a headache with the sun too.
I wonder how Fitz is with the NEW nurse!! lol I bet he's loving being back at home......just hope his mum will let him get enough rest while he recuperates.

Just a quick post, been in the garden most of the day - or giving every window in the house a clean - inside and out - much needed after all the rain we had.
A warm welcome to Pilgrim Father. You took me back to my childhood at the ABC MInors on a Saturday morning with the Kick-Off song! I'd have to dig deep in the memory banks but I don't think there were many more words to that.
Talking of ditties (No, NOT Katerina's!) I was reciting a couple of items that my Dad sung to me when I was a child to Carmel. One he did was with a simulated lisp, but I hope I'll be forgiven (for the sake of history) for repeating it in this P C age.
"My Muther seth I lithp, My farther seth I lithp, Do you Think I lithp? Come and hear me thay, Puth Puth, come and have thum thmilk, In a thauther, under the think.
If you can't understand, just say and I'll interpret for you. Amazing though how it's stuck all these years.
Another one was sung to me, so I can't give you the tune, but it went like this:- The skilamulik, the bulamulik, it makes a jolly good plaster. The more you try to pull it off, The more it sticks the faster, (pause for breath) The beeswax ( cant remember the next bit) It makes a jolly good plaster, - and so on and so on.
Anyway, it's nearly time to put on my surgical scrubs and scrub in for Holby. New drama with the excellent Timothy Spall tonight - so Big Fat Gypsy Wedding will have to go on the recorder.
New TV coming tomorrow, pity Katerina finished!!!!!!!!!
Nigh night guys & gals

Hi Pilgrim Father, I remember Saturday morning pictures at the ABC I think the cost was 6d (Two and a half pence to you youngsters)Which included all the old favourites Hopolong Cassidy, Gene Aultry, Gabby Hays, Always the old Chaplin films, and every type of Cowboy and Indian films.
When we came out we would either get a bag of Batter bits 1d or a Penny Speck from the greengrocers.
Henen't read the posts yet. Football just stating !!!!

Half Time, Read throught the posts.
You all have been busy, what with visits and gardening, when do you have time for housework.????
William , You have got me going now, I know the tune you mean, and it will puzzle me till I remember it. If I lay awake tonight, I will blame you. :-D :-D :-D Got it "THE GALLOPING MAJOR " I'm sure i'm right. What do you think.??
Glad Fitz is settled at home now.
Shelia, I try to take each day as it comes. There's always the worry of another stroke, which a lot of people have, but with all the medication I am on, I hope it never happens.
Shirl, You are going throught the wars my love, Do you want me to come over and give you a bit of TLC ???
Take care all, back to football.
