I have also been watching dancing on ice and am waiting for the results.
Just bought a cardi off ebay..put a proxy bid on ..another bidder put a bid on too...didnt jump mine up to high..
Alan has bought adog crate on there as well...They are so dear at Pets at home where we went this morning..Bought some special spray that should lead the dogs to their dirt box... which should help them lol...Mine keeps trying to use a different bit of floor and carpet..This is our first dog..
We have had cats so any help would be appreciated.I was told to keep him in his crate at night ( when it arrives ) they dont like messing their own bedding...I cant see that happening for apuppy.. He is just 8 weeks old he needs his second jabs in a couple of weeks.then he can mix...Hope to see my family over half term week..my daughter has 2 dogs.. I will catch up with your posts later byeee

Night all.
Patricia - if you feel that strongly about your job you have done the right thing. You have to be happy at work because you spend so much time of your life at wok.
Tomorrow might be difficult to begin with but I am sure once you have been in for about an hour or so everyone will accept the fact that you are leaving and it will be OK. - good luck anyway.
Your little dog sounds lovely spanials are lovely dogs, have you a name for him yet?
I have just seen the results of dancing on ice and the public have kept the American Coran? in the programme they must be mad he is rubbish.

They are such company though ,i wouldn't be with out a dog now .

Did anyone watch 'Birdsong'last night? we did, and thought it was brilliant - I've read the book so that made it easier to follow. Pat, some friends of ours have got a King Charles, and he is a super little dog, they've never had any trouble with chewing or misbehaviour of any sort. As for your cats!!!! when we had our springer puppy (the one before Millie) our old cat was so horrified that she looked at the puppy as if to say, 'what on earth is that?' threw us a filthy look, walked up to poor Rosie, and smacked her hard across her head and swore at her! and boy did she yelp! After that the pecking order had been established, and dog and cat co-habited in relative peace!! We always had dogs and cats when I was a child, and they always lived together in reasonable harmony, some were even fond of each other and shared the same bed - it just depended really how the current cat/s felt, as cats tend to be in charge of a cat/dog situation!!!

Liz I watched Birdsong. Can't wait for the final part next week.
I have'nt read the book though.
A puppy, gosh it's a long while since I had one of those but my advice to you is once you have put something in one end expect something out the other quite soon after. Once fed put him on his newspaper or outside in the garden for a while. As soon as he wakes up pop him out again for a tiddle.

Morning Everyone.
Been feeling rotten the last 2 days, all shivering and tired , probably got the flu, so just taking things easy today,
Bright & cold here. still lucky we have had no snow,
Tilers here at the moment finishing off the roof , another job done. things are coming together, OH brought some white paint at the weekend so if I feel better I can do a bit of painting, just going over the walls to cover the old paint . he plans to fit the small radiator which we have in the kitchen and don't use into the new porch , so once all the work inside is done (still windows to finish sealing) and radiator is done it will be cosy and warm.

Hello all,
So tired so I'm not staying. Pat saw your puppy on fb - he is awfully cute <3 They go around in little circles just when they're about to .........
Fiona rest up and I hope you feel better soon. Mandy good to see your back is improved today - all over the place.
Jane, poor Janice - recovery won't come quick enough. She will really enjoy having her big sister fussing over her when she comes to stay.
All that food sounded delicious - I was reading out posts to OH and remembering when I used to do all the cooking. He just laughed at me and said "Is that all you can remember?" Cheeky sod ;-) ;-)
Off to the tv now. Have a great day everyone. 10.38 pm DST

Morning all,
You have been busy nattering again, have a job to keep up
Denise that site is FRANCIS FRITH go on to Google and type it in, then you will see where you can type a town or village. You will then see photo's. and you can read/add your memories of your life there
What a pompous little Bu##er that bloke was on SCD. I thought he should have been the first out also. Wait till next week.
I always go for a readers digest, when I go to the doctors, such a lot of info and good stories.
Old cat still holding on. He's as thin as a rake, seems to have stopped eating. I have tried him on liver/kidney/fish. and his own food, but just sniffs it and walks away. He doesn't like me to be away from him. Last night he even came into the bedroom and jumped on the bed to be close to me. Had to take him back, and close the doors. He was there this morning, saying hello, and waiting for his stroke. Now asleep on the armchair.
Jane for what it's worth. My knee was very "ANGRY" for a few weks, and had to have loads of fluids drawn off it.
How lovely to have a little puppy, he will give you so many hours of pleasure.

Afternoon all.
Thanks for the name of that site Frank I will try it shortly Patricia I love the name of your dog.
I went to physio this morning the lady was pleased with my progress got to see her in a couple of weeks time more exercises to do and I can get back to riding but for only about15 minutes and work my way back to a full lesson again slowly.
Popped into the riding school on my way home and they said that was fine take it at my own pace which I thought was good so will be back hopefuly this thursday.
Not too cold here today but dull and dismal.
