Morning all, Evening Kim
Mel, as Franks says if your new glasses are bifocals?? they will take a few days or maybe a week to get used to , you spend half the time moving your head up and down till you find them in a comfortable position and you can see clearly, I use my bifocals nearly all the time now, Last Thursday I was in town and met daughter no 2 for lunch, we both ordered a baked potato and salad, I couldn't tell the difference between the green lettuce and green peppers and also couldn't see the raw onion until I had tasted it, YUCK, I don't like peppers or raw onion :-| :-|, so I had to wear my glasses through the whole meal, :-D :-D
A lovely sunny day here, the snow is still lying on the grass but has all melted on the paths and roads, OH off to Amsterdam today but will be back tomorrow night, which is not bad, he has been feeling a bit chocked and sneezy :-( I told him he will be spreading all his germs in the aeroplane, he replied , bet you I am not the only one with a cold,
Got a busy day tomorrow, meeting friends for coffee (as I usually do :-D) then off to Daughter no1 for lunch and then it's to the doctor's with Sofia for a jab, not sure which one it is ,but daughter needs my help in looking after Matteo while she is in seeing the doctor, we haven't told Sofia about this, poor thing , she will be in for a bit of a shock :-0 but we are going to take her out after for a BIG ICE CREAM as a treat, if she is ok, she should be,
Sorry to hear your bad news William, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family <3 <3

I put Chester in his coat this morning and it's hanging off him :-(.He didn't stay out any longer than the time it took to do what he needed :-)I feed the birds ,sorted out the frozen bird bath and then tramped bird poo into the house and all up the stairs :-S :-S The Vanis* has been sprayed all around lol
The sun has come out so I will nip out now.

Morning all/Evening Kim.
Sorry to hear your news Will. It's no age for a "young guy" to pass away. and such a shame for his daughters. There is always someone worse off than you. Love and thoughts to all concerned.
Home alone today. Off shopping with Carolyne, Makes me smile, what do they need to go out every week. There is nothing we want in the shops. But I bet she comes back with something. :-D :-D
We have a dusting of snow, it's blowing up the close, so not able to settle, it looks blooming cold out there. I will be tucked up in my armchair with my book and Sunday's paper which I haven't finished reading yet.
I see that Ex M.P. and his wife have got eight months each. Out in four or less. What has that cost the taxpayers in costs. ??? I did see the sentence could have been very servere. Why bother with high sentences if they never use them. They should make example of some, to deter others.
I believe using a telephone while driving should be £1,000.00 fine and six points on the licence. You would soon see a NIL use of telephones, likewise with drink driving Automatic three year ban, 12 months inside, and £2,000 fine. (FRANK'S LAW)
My that S& K pie played me up last night/this morning. It's the pastry. Terrible indigestion and heart burn. I now I shouldn't eat it, but once in a while I have to have it and suffer for it afterwards!!!!
Don't you trim your own eyebrows Jane. ??? I thought most women plucked them ;-) ;-) Make you eyes water. Mine get so long I get called that polititions name who had bushy eyebrows (can't think of his name) I think he use to say "SILLY BILLY" I have a setting on my trimmer that keeps them under control. Just thought "DENNIS HEALEY" My hairdresser looks after my ear hair. What a subject. :-D :-D :-D
Who's doing what today then ??? something exciting PLEASE. I'm just a boring old far# siotting around doing nothing..
Tenderloin of pork tonight. Might do Garlic mushrooms a Rostti, will make a change from roast and veg.

Mel I get the error thing all the time these days .But I ignore it as I know my post goes through. It has been happening for ages now.
Frank I wouldn't trust myself to do my own eyebrows. They would end up all wonky.I only started having them done just about 3 years ago.Mine are quite straight so I never have a nice arched brow.I always think mine make it look like I am frowning :-| :-| Nothing exciting going on here I'm afraid Frank.I think everyone will be staying in the warm.I might cook a chicken (that's really exciting lol)
Good luck with your Scan tomorrow Pat.Fingers crossed there is no deterioration. One of my Sisters dogs is aggressive when it comes to food.I think he has to have his on his own and the other 2 together.
Hannah and John were lucky to get back home last night on Eurostar.I see they have cancelled all trips due to the weather.

Will have to go and trim the nails and make them even, I have plaster on the fringer. SHUSH don't tell Ros. :-D :-D Garlic mushrooms all done, just need reheating tonight. I had a taste and boy do they taste stong. Good job i'm not out with a young lady tonight. !!!
Just had half hour on SKYPE with our Shirl. Had a good laught and got me out of the gloom. She had her eyes done yesterday, and seems fine, even if she's not. We had a good old natter and put the world to right.
I had to ring off because the phone was ringing. It was a Company trying to sell me new gtutters etc. You can imagine what I said. The second word was OFF !!!
Neighbour has a liner of washing out. It looks as stiff as a board. It won't dry, just freeze. Silly woman.

Mel/Jane, I am forever having trouble with error notice, and my broardband keeps going down, There is a button on my broardband box, that I press to reconnect. I sometime have to do it 4 or 5 times a day. And we have to pay for this "SERVICE"

Got here at last. I have swapt gloasses. These ones at least stay in the right place on my nose and I gave them a good clean and am getting on better with these ones. Both pairs are VARIFOCALS which I have had twice before over a period of about fifteen years. Am still going a bit dizzy if I turn too quickly or look down and up too fast. These are also the ones that go dark in the sunshine.
Frank I have that trouble with pastry at night sometimes or even a steak and kidney casserole. I do that because there is no pastry but then I have to have a dough boy. The knifes sharp both sides that way!!!
Oh is always telling me I have NO eyebrows. Well I hav't much and they are very blond except the three hairs that grow on my left one which are jet balck and thick and I have to pluck them out. Had to do it yesterday as I was going to the opticians.
Oh won't let me do his, he just cuts them off and leaves them in the bathroom sink!!! :-| :-| :-| :-| :-| :-| :-| :-| :-| :-| :-|

I think I might have a bit of a read and a cup of tea now.

Thank you all for you kind words, they do help and it is so good to know freinds are thinking of us. Because what's happening re arrangements is so far away in Lincolnshire, there is a lot of phone traffic here. It does me good to read all your posts and to know that life goes on. As Frank so rightly says, life does go on - and so it should. Our saving grace is that later in the year, we shall have two new little great grandchildren, so life really does go in literally.
I put a post on Facebook (some may know) and the response has been so touching. It really does help at times like these to know that people care.
You all take care now and stay warm and snug and safe on the roads. C Y A L

Oh uses a boiler suit or overalls and brother in law takes my flask when he goes fishing down here.
Oh has told me to move my pc screen backwards and forwards on my desk to get the right position for me reading it. It has been back and back and forward and forward and now I think it is in the same position as when I started!!!!!!!!!
SHIRL THATS GOOD ABOUT YOUR BONE SCAN. PERHAPS THE EYE WILL SETTLE IT'S SELF DOWN AFTER A DAY OR TWO.
