Morning everyone. Evening Kim

Last week OH ordered some more Grit & sand, and flagstones for the path round the extension, and they are to be delivered some time this morning, I have no idea when the flagstones will arrive, but the local builder who is delivering the sand etc rang yesterday and said he would give me a call when he was 30 mins away. so I am up earlier than normal.

Daughter no2 boyfreind is coming down about 10.00 this morning to work from my house as my GP is phoning some time after 10 , so in case I'm on the phone talking to the doctor boyfriend can see to the delivery's,

Dull & gray here but no rain.

Morning Fiona and All and Eveing Kim,

Sunshine and cloud this morning so there has to be a wind and I bet it is a cold one. Hav'nt been outside yet but I can see frost on the lawn.

The ground is actually drying out at the mo with all the cold winds we have been having.

Hope your delivery comes Fiona.

Off out this afternoon for my horrid thingy.

Morning my little chatterbox's/Evening Kim,

HOME ALONE. Ros had to be at the Drs for 9.10 am for blood test. Left me and Lewis in Bed. She bought me my asprin and tea in at 9.35 on her return. I got up and wiped over my hands and face, went to get another cup of tea, when the bell went. It was Julia, she has come up early to take Ros and Lewis shopping, and out to lunch. They left about 11.00 am.

Yesterdat morning Ros was complainting about the bottom fitted sheet not having enough material on the sides, it keeps ridding up I looked on the net, and found some with 15 inch sides !!! our mattress is 10 inches thick, so I thought they should do the trick. I ordered and paid for them on line, at about 2.30 pm and this morning our neighbour bought them round, they had been delivered at 8.00 am before Ros was up..
What wonderfull service, I opened my Emails this morning, and there was one from last night telling me they would be delivered this morning, and another at 8.20 am this morning saying they had been delivered to Mr Maycoc# at 8.00 am.
If only more Companies acted like this, there would be no reason to have "COMPLAINTS DEPTS""

I am posting this lot as the computer is stutteering and I don't want to loose it.

Now for some more news.

A few snow flakes fluttering around, but I don't think it will come to anything.

William, I only ever had a to do with one doctor, but also with a receptionest. I was told to be at the surgery at 4.30 this particular day to pick up the first MORPHINE PATCHES for Ros's pain relief. I duly walked round to the Doctors and told her what I had come for. She completly ignored me for 10 minutes. In that time a Doctor walked through the reception and out of the surgery. When I finally attrached her attention again, SHE HAD THE BLOOD# SAUCE to say NO doctor was available to sign the perscription I said what was that that just walk out of the surgery "SCOTCH MIST" She said he was on an emergency. I asked why as he was there all day, hadn't he signed it., knowing I was going to be there for 4.30.She got in a right state and by this time I was spitting nails. !! I stormed out of the surgery. About an hour later a had a knock on the door, It was another receptionist with the Perscription. !!! Two days later I had a letter from the Manager, threatening me that I would be taken off the doctors list if I behaved like that again. I was round that Surgery as quick as a flash, but the bugger was on holiday for two weeks, so had a one to one with the prescription Manager. and told her in no uncertain terms that is there was another doctor in the area, I would be gone. I did get a leytter of apoligy a couple of weeks later.

I saw Kim on facebook this morning, so she is around. Also saw Shirl on line, even though I never spoke to her, she was there.

Was you talking about SHOPPING this morning Mel.??? I thought you girls liked shopping.

Hope Chester is going on O.K. jane you will have to spoil him with some tit bits

Just got back from Holsworthy. It was warmer there than at home. I was worried I would'nt be warm enough as I left off my high neck jumper and had to just wear a cardy (and of course my trousers!!!) to go into the xray dept. Oh noticed it too as the car was reading -4 in Hols. and -5 at home.

Hope the nurse wasn't too rough Melanie.
Ellen has had the same problem when she has had to attend.
Its to get a good picture so that they don't have to do it twice.

Jane

Jane Report 22 Feb 2013 17:40

Has Frank made a BOOB then Mel ;-) ;-)..Sorry I couldn't resist :-D
I think last time I went for a Mammogram it wasn't too bad but the time before was painful like yours today. It's no joke is it.At least we have something to be squashed and squeezed by those evil metal plates. But it must be worse for ladies with little.

No snow yet. There a few tiny bits earlier today ,but so small you could hardly see it.

Well what a surprise...no call from the garage (as they promised) :-S :-S

How are everybody's coughs and colds today? My sister has had a right corker for 3 weeks now.She couldn't even talk on the phone last night because of coughing.

Ann that newspaper article was funny and interesting.I put it in front of Chris....His response was "Hmm it doesn't tell me anything I don't know" lolol

Jane Report 22 Feb 2013 19:48

I have to go on tiptoes to get mine in the clamps.Men would have to be on a ladder lol
I think men should actually see what is done to our Boobs. Then they could picture what exactly what would happen to their bits :-D ;-)

Chris has just got in so it's going to be a late dinner. It's all ready to pop in the oven.A big tray of Chicken breasts,Charlotte Potatoes,Peppers,Red onions,Mushrooms,Courgettes.

All quiet on the Western Front. Lewis has gone kome He's left me with his COLD. My head is swimming, and nose is running. Box of tissues by my side

Sorry Mel, I had no idea. I thought you meant shopping. !!! Most uncalled for Jane !!!

Davis as a bloke I am sure we have knocked our "mates downstairs", and made your eyes water I bet it's the same for the girls. NOT NICE.. ;-) ;-) ;-)

Ain't you got that B car back yet Jane, they could have built a new one the time you have been without.

Spoke to Shirl this afternoon, She's not been to well, cold and snifflles. They had minus 15 degrees, and another two inches of snow. I said we missed her.

Soaps, on now till 9. pm. Then Piers Morgan with Ester Ransom. Don't know what that will be like.

Going to look round Ebay for an hour.

Take care, it's going to be VERY COLD tomorrow.

Evening All,

It's been very cold here again but no frost and not as cold as where Mel is. I hate going for those checks too and am the same as Jane, having to stand on tiptoes. Believe me when you are in those clamps you daren't drop your heels to the floor no matter how much your legs ache!! Sometimes they don't seem to line the clamps up properly and it doesn't half hurt.

Jane, that's pretty much what OH said too when he read the article!! :-) :-) It's when you are actually 'living it' that the fun starts. :-|

Fiona, your OH is good getting on with the slabs. We are waiting for it to warm up a bit outside before we start. The daffs are all showing their buds now I notice.

Thanks for letting us know about Shirl, Frank. I hope she soon feels better.

Has anyone else been watching the Brain Doctor programmes. That surgeon has such a nice manner and way with his patients and is so calm.
