Morning one and all/Evening Kim,
I am sat at the computer, with a football commentary going on in my right ear !!! Lewis is playing a football game on his X BOX. I suppose I will have this all day, when he's not eating and sleeping. He's got it on MY big tele. He has woken up this morning with the coughs and sneezess so hope he's not going down with anything.
Ros was up and away this morning to meet Harvey. While she was out I fed and waterd Lewis and myself. Bacon sandwhich and a cup of tea.
Ros is stripping the bed so she can get it washed and on the line for a good blow. The bottom sheet was a great heap in the middle of the bed. SHE SWEARS I roll myself uo in the sheets, i'm like a cacoon(sp) all wrapped up for hibination. :-D :-D She says, she never has any bedcloths. I have told her to come to bed at the same time as me, and fight for her bit !!! It was after 1.00 am this morning before she came to bed.
Beautiful sunny morning here, but from just popping outside, still very cold.
David, When Ros got her "BLUE BADGE" it was via the Doctor. He put everything in place for her. It might have changed by now, but if she needs it. She will get it. If Ros didn't do all the driving, I would apply for one, so neighbours coyuld take me shopping and park closer to the supermarkers. Thats what they are for. Persist will her in a very casual understanding manner, I'm sure you will get through. You know what WOMEN are like.
Jane, they say you spend a third of your life in bed. You seem to change the law of averages. :-D :-D :-D :-D

Jane at least when the sun shines you feel like doing housework, well I do anyway if I can't get in the garden.
Frank I am sure everyone always enjoys the lovely meals you cook for them and it's nice to have very crispy baked pots.
David I had the same trouble with mum when I tried to apply for a blue badge as she could'nt walk very far and walked so slowly when she did. She would'nt have one so I had to cancel the application.

Still a lovely day here, but forcast says it's going to be BRRRR by the end of the week, Strong Easterly Winds, watch out Mandy. We don't want you blown away.
Poor old Lewis, he's bunged up with cold. Ros has taken him to Tesc# and will see the chemist, to see if he can make something up to break up his head cold. She also needs some bits and pieces.
Cold Pork, Jacket potato, ratatouille, and coldslaw tonight. How the hell did that name come about I bet it's French for mixed veg. !!! Had to look it up !!!
Lewis still wants to go to the pub tonight as there is a match on T.V. I suppose I will HAVE TO TAKE HIM. and me wanting a quite night in with my beloved I see you can't use the Emoticons. they won't come up. !!
Sheets still blowing in the breeze, so I had better get them in before it starts to damp.
See you later.

Tomorrow it's out to Lunch with Ann and Fitz :-D :-D,so I'm looking forward to that.I'm sure there will lots more talk about Fitz's ancestors .After lunch and we say bye bye to Ann I am going with Fitz to see his Mother in the care home.I haven't seen her for a long time now so think I will be in for a bit of a shock.
Just got that Sausage and Puy Lentil casserole (that I did last week) in the oven.I have just used normal Pork sausages tonight(not those Toulouse ones that Chris likes).Prunes are in it too so watch out Chris!!!!!!! they can have an effect :-S :-S Remember Prunes and Custard for school puddings :-P :-P.How I hated them! Evening all,
Lewis has a Oba# stick inhaler thingy, to help clear his head, I mentioned, that perhaps he shouldn't go out tonight. I'll be allright. Nanny can take and fetch us, so I won't be in the cold air. All I said was, we will see. !!
We all enjoyed our dinner, the only trouble was there was too much. I did three BIG potato's covered them in Olive oil and salt. Cooked them for two hours in the oven. Still have enough pork over for a few sandwiches. Or it will go into the DOG next door but two.
Soaking your feet mid afternoon (LADY MUCK) most are glad to wash them in the shower. :-D :-D :-D (they are working again.)
I don't know if my finger is getting bigger, but I keep hitting two keys at once, and have to go back and erase the wrong letter. and that's only typing with one fingure. Imagine if I was a touch typist. !!
Ros often opens a tin of prunes, and puts them in a dish and eats them. !!!
Going to play cards for a bit, see you later.

Evening everyone,
Its been a lovely sunny day here , i turned the heating off as the sun was really warm through the window.
What a shame Ellen wouldn't let you fill the form in David , a blue badge would make it so much easier for her or both of you , could you not get one for your self ?
Frank, hope Lewis's cold doesn't get passed on to you both, yes it does look as if we might get the old east wind later in the week, i hate it ,it seems to get right into your bones :-S we might get more snow too !! Lovely show of snow drops you have :-D when you lift the little heads of them they are so pretty ,its a shame they hang down as you don't get to see them properly .
Oh you carn't beat a good foot soak :-D i have one of those foot bath things ,i never think of using it ,i suppose its because its in the cupboard , i usually add a little salt to the water ,oh its heaven after a good soak ,just like having your feet in the salty sea water !! :-D My heels don't seem to get so rough in the winter ,i do wear sock this time of the year so i suppose that helps. I do like to cream my feet at night , but by the time you cream this ,cream that , brush your teeth and what not ..you need to set out for bed at six !!!! ;-) :-S :-) :-)
There will be lots of chatter tomorrow then !! :-D have a lovely lunch . I love Prunes , counting the stones .Tinker ,Tailor ,Soldier , Sailor ,Rich man , Poor man, Beggar man ,Thief .!! I have Rice Pudding with my Prunes . :-D
We had a stir fry tonight ,i had Uncle Ben's Sweet and Sour sauce with veg and i added some Chicken to hubby's, we also tried the Lemon Chicken sauce with Ginger , that was lovely , i spotted that one in some ones trolley the other day and i thought that's sounds nice i'll try some of that and now i'am full up !! :-D

Jane I have not heard from the nurse yet but phoned the pharmacist and asked her if I could start taking my Omerprazole(?) pills again for a short time to see if they help with the acid and she said it would be ok but after a few days I was to talk to the doctor. I have been taking Gavi*con but it's not really helping much at least I know its got nothing to do with my Gallbladder this time. Hope I will be feeling a little better tomorrow as daughter no1 has invited me out to lunch at one of the local pub/restaurants,
I like prunes and have about 6 every morning keeps me going to the you know where ;-) ;-)
OH left for Paris this afternoon, then after a meeting tomorrow will be going to Munich and home again on Friday afternoon, this hopefully is is the last time he will be travelling abroad for the next few months.

Evening All,
Another nice day, but nothing done at home as I went in the city to spend a Deb*nham's gift card that's been in my purse for yonks and I thought may have expired!! Luckily it hadn't so I bought a couple of tops. Then a trudge around the market and I got some more cheap beads after a bit of bartering again and some suede cord. Then I popped in the R*nge, took some things back to a shop on the way home, filled my car up ready for tomorrow and then popped some things to the dog's home. Then I came home to a letter from the tax office that made me :-0 :-| :-|. Another thing to deal with that will take ages!!
Looking forward to seeing Fitz and Jane tomorrow. I am taking a newspaper cutting from this week forJane.......it's about couples living together when retirement hits.......it struck a few chords with me!! lol :-D :-D
Oh dear, I hope Lewis doesn't feel too bad and that he can still taste your lovely meals Frank.......shame it's happened at half term.
Yes, Ellen is wrong David. What a shame, after all, they can only say no if she doesn't meet the criteria and it would make life much easier for you both if she could get one.
That's a nuisance Fiona. It often seems we take a tablet for something and we get something we didn't want as well. Does it make a difference what time of day you take them?
So true Mandy! lol. I mutter in the mornings too, more creams, hair conditioner, glasses to be cleaned.....it all takes extra time! :-S
I have 2-3 prunes every morning......I only like the 'ready to eat' ones though

Here I am putting in an appearance at last, Picked up a nasty cold and cough and am 'dew-dropping' all over the keyboard :-\
Putting in my pen'orth on driving tests, I must be the jammiest bloke around, or I am just a good driver whatever befalls. I passed my first driving test umpteen years ago in Hinckley on a 50cc moped. The examiner signaled for me to do the emergency stop on a new gravelled road - I'm sure you've realised now that I just slid along the surface! But I got my pass chitty anyway. On that licence I went on for years to drive Vespa scooters, then a BMW Isetta bubble car, then a whole series of different Relinat three wheelers. Later on when I decided I wanted to get onto four wheels, I took my next driving test in a Mazda in Loughborough. The test centre was right on the busy ring road by an island that had non stop traffic. I sat with the examiner being all goody goody when I realised that I'd still be politely waiting to get going when it was dark. So I let the clutch out and g0t into the melee and followed his orders until the road test finished and it was time for him to quiz me on the highway code. I completely fluffed the stopping distance question and expecting a fail, but was highly surprised when he handed me a pass chit! We went on to get a Metro which did us for a while, then I started my love affair with Nissan's of which we've had 5 over the years all from new, luckily enough. So having passed on a moped then a normal car, my licence says I can drive motor bikes, fork lift trucks, vans, and even a tractor!!! I think NOT :-S

William ... do you need a tissue? I will pass a cyber one :-D.You mention a Mazda.I have a feeling that is the car I passed my test in.My driving instructor used to smoke all the time I had lessons. Not that it bothered me because I smoked then and he would even give me one (a ciggie) when I was driving :-S.Like I said ~I did pass first time, and was then asked to enter a competition for Learner Driver of the Year(South West).I think I came 3rd(it is so long ago now ).The competition took place in the car park for Plymouth Argyle)It was so nerve wracking but exciting too.I was chuffed to bits :-D :-D

Jane, it will just be interesting to see how you find it in comparison! ;-)
Sorry you can't say plub jab William. Hopefully it will soon be on it's way. FIL also had a series of Reliants!! No reverse gear according to OH who would ride on the thinly padded back seat and be the one to get out and push if they needed to go backwards!! FIL took his to the Reliant factory for any work to be done as it was just down the road.
I was a first time passer too after 10 lessons and going out once with dad for practice. (made me do 70mph and I clipped the kerb......it was a very wide car and had 3 seats in the front and the back so I was nearer the kerb than I thought. He would have taken me out again but he was so impatient I thought better of it!) After all, he drove everywhere flat out and would 'do the ton' down the lane to our house every night. If the car wouldn't 'do the ton' he would have the bonnet up and start 'tuning it' the next day. He was a nightmare in lots of ways.
About 20 years ago I entered a nationwide competition between Dept Health and Dept Social Security staff and was one of the 10 finalists. The finals were held at the old Rover HQ at Studley Castle near Birmingham and we had 2 days there using their cars to do all sorts of tests, on and off road as well as written. We then had a day at Westminster where the awards were made by the then Minister of Transport. I wasn't in the first 3 but the only other lady came 2nd which was good and I really enjoyed it all, especially sleeping in a beautiful castle. I have a video somewhere that they made of each of us. You did well in your competition Jane and I know EXACTLY what you mean about nerve wracking, excited and chuffed. I hardly slept the night before. They had asked us to bring wellies with us and I was imagining driving in deep mud!! I think the winner of ours got a skidpan training course.

Thank you team.I was bit peeeed off about cancellig that form online so near to completion, but because she would have to attend some where to verify the condition of her knees that did it.
Lucky girl Ann.I gave up driving after failing my first test.Must'nt have wanted it enough. Three years later I wanted to pass my test and I did Professional lessons are expensive.Freebees are a blessing if some one's free and willing.
Wqs at the Doctors with Ellen this this morning. On the way back to the car we had a look in at a couple of charity shops. Ellen bought a couple of tops and a jacket.I was looking at the books. Saw shades of gray 1 11 & 111 on the shelf. Hello :) think I and takes one copy to the counter The lady said it's all about sex,you would'nt like it. What did I do? I put it back on the shelf. I must be getting old.
