Morning Everyone (just).It's almost afternoon,and it will be by the time I post this.
After a good sleep last night and a decent walk with my dear Chester I feel back to my old silly self :-D :-D

When we had our trouble with the mice,the chap who put the traps up in the loft laughed when I said I used to use the Humane traps and then take the little devils over the road to the hedge.He said they probably followed me right back again lol.
I think it is just beginning to brighten up now.It has been very dark this morning.

I need to do a few things before I go into town and have a mosey before my haircut at 2pm.So tatty bye for now .BBL

Notifications of messages are now coming through from Genes to the normal email address. I just received one. Hopefully one more problem ironed out.

Hi to Frank and Fiona. Might go and put myself on the couch and watch some tv, nothing much on this time of year. Night, night all.

Oh Frank I remember Keith bought me a handbag of many colours and he's not colour blind. My face must have said it all - he took it back after Christmas.

Ros has dissapeared up into the loft for her Christmas cards. That she always buys in January.!!! I wonder what else she will bring down. I wanted to do it but a FIRM NO YOU DON'T. 'm not having you fall of the loft ladder. !!!

House Insurance due Mid December so looking around on the sites. One insurance is via my exsisting insurers and is £80 odd cheaper. Work that out if you can. !!!

It always seems to turn chilly here after 2pm. It must be the way the sun goes round. It used to happen when mum was alive.

just had one of my next door neighbours popped into see how I am, (He) takes me to church on Sundays when I go.I said I was always tired, He said it could be the anesthetic still in my system, he had cancer of the nose about 4 years ago and had an operation to remove and construct a new nose, and said he was tired for many weks after due to the anesthetic,

Same here Mel, or it might be that I sit down with lunch at the computer about 2 and start to feel cold.

I wish we would go back to the time when you just bought presents for family/friends that you thought they would like instead of these endless lists that get passed around the family and you don't know whose bought what in the end and someone always gets 2 DVD's the same. I can't even think of anything I really want and have started doing what the kids do and thumbing my way through the Ar**s catalogue.

I'm having trouble trying to open my messages could be Genes then again it could be this computer.

It was neither Genes nor the computer, it was me, as usual, clicking on the wrong thing, I just keep clicking till I get there .....lol

Another two eggs this evening so thats 7 today.

Fiona, The rain is in the West, Ireland and Scotland again. Iht needs pushing this way, we need the rain.

The afternoons are getting cooler. I put the heating on low earlier. just takes the chill off.

Stir fry tonight, that's Ros's job, so I can relax and watch the news.

When I was in the hairdressers the young girl who washed my hair told me that one of the little gift type shops is closing down and everything was half price.So I had a wander there and got a couple of table decorations(ones that have a little glass in the middle with tea lights,and some other tree decorations.It was heaving in there.People were on their phones ringing friends to tell them to get there quick lol

I am really really stumped as to what to get my lot for Christmas.But I ordered a lovely dressingown for Chris which has just arrived.It seems quite plush,and I know he really just wanted a normal towelling one.Now a dilema.Do I keep it and hope he likes it ,or send it back.I think I will most likely hang on to and hope for the best.

I have a really achy jaw today.Think I have been doing a bit of clenching :-| :-|

It seems my emails are now showing that I have messages from GR.

No colour today Frank.Just a cut and blow dry.I will hang on a couple more weeks I think before I get the colour done.Just in time for Christmas. :-D.Mind you I doubt anyone will notice :-S
One of the young hairdressers is expecting her first baby sometime after Xmas.Her bump is TINY.I looked her size when I was just a few weeks pregnant !!.Not sure how she will cope with the birth as she is so squeamish.I remember her cutting her thumb on a pair of scissors a while ago ,and she nearly went into meltdown.You would have thought she had amputated it.If there had been a brown paper back handy she would have been breathing in and out of it lol

Good that you got a couple of bargains Jane. I hope Chris likes his dressing gown. OH could do with a new toweling one too. that gives me an idea :-D

I just heard Chris arrive ,and realised the dressingown was still here on the table.
I haven't moved so fast in years lol.It's now in the top of my wardrobe.Mel I got it from Debenh*** on line.I only ordered it on Tuesday !!!!!.
I nearly bought a lovley knitted dress for Hannah this afternoon.I just popped it back on the rail while I had another quick look at other things.I went back to pick it up and saw someone else waltz off with it :-S :-S It was the only one in the right size.That will teach me :-|

Tonights headline was 'Public Fury over £100k for Mayor', they are looking to revise the figures. Wouldn't we all like a nearly 50% pay rise!

Conrad's mice do the same as ours then Frank and go shinning up the garage wall to get in the loft. Jane got the same advice as us about catching and releasing them......they know the way back!! lol I would be having a fit too Kim and Mandy if they were in the actual house but they are only in the loft and can't get in the bungalow thank goodness. There was another in the trap today and I slept like a log last night. :-D I think closing the gap under the garage door is the only answer, but the little blighters can squeeze through the tiniest gap.

Frank, Ros better be careful with her back on those loft steps too!! What about a 12 month subscription to a knitting magazine?

We went to fetch OH's coat from the school where he left it yesterday. When the lady asked which it was he said 'well it's that one..... unless you've got something better'. lol :-)

Mel, what do you do with the old chickens?..........or is it better for me not to know! :-S You have been busy cleaning today. I must really get stuck in. I cleaned the sinks and hob today, but everywhere needs a dust, wet wipe or hoover. I gave the washer a service clean as well and got OH to get the filter out to clean. Why does he make everything too tight for me to undo?

I was in Nuneaton this afternoon and saw something that you don't often see these days.....a lifesize model of a butcher outside a shop! I got a pic with my phone and will send it if it is good enough.

Ann, we have a butchers with a life size model outside.Stripy apron and all lol.He has been there for years.Hasn't aged at all :-D
I hoover dust ,but it is not as good as a good old damp dusting.It's just quicker and easier ;-).
Do we all still use Yellow Dusters?,and why are dusters yellow???

Have sent a pic........I wonder if it is the same one you have Jane?? You were lucky to whip that dressing gown out of sight before Chris saw it. I find OH's have a knack of appearing when you have something you don't want them to see!! lol

The times I have left something to come back to in a shop and found it gone. :-S So disappointing.

I'm off to get ready to watch The Queens Hidden Cousins on Ch4 at 9.00pm. I think it will be good!
