Morning Fiona and all,

I have been working on family tree for the last 2 hours. I had a contact with someof my family on it and have been looking at her tree. Still think she has some things wrong though!!

Fiona I watched the weather forcast last night and thought you may be in for more snow. Bet you are fedup with it by now. Good to know your new pooter is on the way at last.

We have only had one portion each of the cake so far!! so it is still 3 to go each!! I know it was naughty but at 2.99 I could'nt resist it.

Snow eased off just rain and it's all slushy yuk!!!

Beautifulday here Fiona!!! lots of blue sky and sunshine. Took Millie a really lovely walk along the river and round the 'end' field, felt a load better. Shall be really glad when the next few weeks are over and done with!!! Hoovered upstairs, swept and washed kitchen floor. 'Waking the Dead' was VERY spooky, had to firmly switch OFF from it while going to sleep!!!

So much for me getting jobs done.Our young friend in Dubai rang for a 'chat'
She is now about 28 weeks pregnant.Must have been on the phone for a good hour and a half !.She wants to have a visit back here but is not allowed to fly so she has to wait until after the baby is born.I do feel sorry for her as she has no family out there other than her hubby and I think she is feeling a bit homesick.

They say it is the warmest day of the year with 16 deg in Southampton.It doesn't feel very warm here,although the fog seems to have lifted.

Fitz has gone to Venice for a week and the forecast is heavy rain today,tomorrow and thursday !!.I am sure he will still manage to enjoy himself lol

Must go and get ready for my appointment.Chris has just arrived home to come with me.I said to make sure he takes his Kindle otherwise he will be really bored just sat waiting .

Afternoon everyone,
Foggy here first thing ,now it just dull ,chilly too.

Fiona, at least your snow is going slushy and not laying , hope your computer comes today ,nothing worse than keeping in all day and then it doesn't arrive .

Jane ,i hope you get on ok with your appointment for your eyes .

Just made a Chocolate Sponge ,got the family coming tomorrow and the little ones love choc Sponge .

Think i'll have to turn the heating on ,feels really chilly .

Very dull and gloomy here. Bathroom paintwork now finished so I'm off for a bit of 'retail therapy'.

Hope you get on ok at your appointment Jane.....will be thinking of you, hopefully not sitting there too long.

Is Frank about? Hope he feels a bit better now.

Jane, I hope all went well with your eye appointment. I'm sure that they were able to reassure you and recommend a course of 'action'! Lovely afternoon here, am going to sit on the garden seat and get some 'rays'!! Japan seems to get more awful and worrying by the minute. Those POOR people, makes ones own troubles pale into insignificance.

Yes Mandy , still waiting. a van did arrive but it was delivering some books that daughter no 2 had ordered, and then postman handed a parcel in for OH., just waiting now for MY STUFF.
all snow now gone but pouring down with rain and feeling chilly, I will have to go and put on a jumper.

Snowing again , really coming down
Computer has arrived, OH says don't touch he wants to check it's the right one before he starts to do anything, I think it's because of all the hassels he's not taking any chances. lol

PHEW! Eyes look tickety boo .No sign of Glaucoma,but will have to go back in January for repeat tests just to make sure.My pupils look the size of saucers at the moment.Chris more or less chucked me out of the car and dashed straight back to work.

I bet you can't wait to get your new pooter up and running Fiona.Remember,Hands off it for now lol.
Will go for a while now and start doing something about dinner.

OH busy trying to set up computer, we are going to leave this old one connected so I can use this one for the time being till he is totaly happy that the new one is running smoothly , then he will moved all my folders infomation etc on to the new one.

Hi Everyone
The weather here has been very grey,cold and now misty. So much for spring!!
Guess what the head is now engaged and baby should be with us soon!!!!!

Jane I am so pleased that all is well with your eyes.

Fiona pleased to hear that your new computer has arrived.Mine is so much faster than the old one. Hope the snow is going now, it sounds terrible!!

Ooh Anne just let us know when we need to do a Group PUSH lol Is she in Hospital now or still at home?.

I can't tell you how relieved Mandy.So now I won't need to think about it again until after Xmas.It was worth going private as I would have worried waiting until the NHS appointment in June.My friends Hubby is in that hospital tonight after having an op on his bottom.£2,500 !One nights stay.

I wonder how long we will all have to push and pant for this little baby who will soon be here.I never had to push with my 2 as I had C Sections with both.Easy lol

Jane , What a relief about your eyes, that's really brilliant, that's one worry out of the way!!! watching the news, and it's SO uncheerful. What with Japan,Libya and Bahrain, it really is awful.

Worth the money for peace of mind Jane .

I wasn't in labour long , i was started off at ten in the morning and son was born at five to three in the afternoon , so just a short time in labour and he was born on a Sunday ,and i came home on the Tuesday .
