Ann is getting the hiccups again, so what's going on with Genes? I keep getting sent to the ERROR page (which I've reported) and am having to gain entry by starting off in Google. Not what I'm paying for!

I was thinking about the old days of radio and when I was a young boy. Does anyone remember the evening horror series 'The Man in Black' with Valentine Dial? I used to listen to it then when I went to bed I couldn't sleep because I was too scared! There was one about the Yellow Wallpaper, and after that I didn't look at our wallpaper when I went to bed. How daft can I get!!! The thing is, I just can't get to sleep with a light on anyway.

It was the error page that caused the hiccups William, I thought it hadn't posted! I don't remember that radio programme, but I do remember listening to Dan Dare Pilot of the Future with dad. I also remember being scared stiff listening to Quatermass on the radio. Mum said it would give me nightmares as well!!

Where's Frank today???????

I think we are all getting totally p'd off with the Error thingy.It's about time GR got it sorted !!!! It's gone on far too long now.
Good to hear Max is ok Pat.You will soon be able to get rid of his lampshade.I hate those things.
I haven't caught up with all the posts today.

I'm cooking a strange Risotto tonight.it is with Pearl Barley instead of rice.I don't like the smell of the Barley :-S

Well I hope Frank is having trouble getting on here and he has'nt fallen again and hurt himself.

I did'nt get on very well in the end. I went to hoover and every time I turned the hoover on it sent the leccy out. Not doing it now while it's dark. Gave up and put the hoover away.

Oh is out ringing tonight and I am just going to get my beans on toasted bap.

Mel. Frank is posting emails ,so I'm guessing he is still having trouble with GR :-S :-S

We decided to have a ride up to see Conrad and Jan for a few hours. They were surprised to see us.

The weather this morning was horrible, Rain and snow and spray all the way there.

I sent an Email to JANE this morning saying I couldn't get on because of the ERROR notice. She couldn't have read it. !!

The car is fine, and certainly a better ride now, with the new tyres. Retaxed the car this morning on line.

Will I'm the same with the news, as was my dad before me. Why i'm like it I don't know, must have rubbed off on me lol lol
My favourite was "Saturday night Theatre" After we had been bathed, we were aloud to sit (QUIET) and listen to the radio. I also liked Paul Temple, and any ghosty things. Don't forget all weel at 6.45 pm "DICK BARTON" Never missed it. !!!
I trust you are all O.K. and not overworked from all this housework and cooking.

Genes, bah humbug! Hiccups and errors is bad enough, now poor David is in hospital TWICE!
Joking aside, David, here's hoping you have a speedy recovery from your accident and get home safe and sound real soon. Will be thinking of you.

I have had such a job to get to this point this morning. Four times I've had to gain entry via Google search to even get to the community slot. Trying to get to the end of the thread only gets me back on the error page. To get here today I had to go to Community, get to entry 100, then proceed 10 items at a time. Just not good enough.
I notice they can take my subs quick enough when the time comes. I've put another complaint in for what good it will do.

Nothing planned for today and I will just take the day as it goes. I did have a load of washing to go out but that will stay indoors now.

I don't have any trouble getting on to Gene's and then onto the thread , the only thing that happens is when i go to submit my post it tells me there's an error ,but when i then refresh the page my post has appeared ok . very strange !!

Goodness David, I am sorry to hear of your accident and I do hope that you recover soon.
I too have complained to Genes! I've been getting on by going up the pages by degrees and FINALLY getting onto the appropriate page, so lets hope it resolves itself!!
My S-Father was besotted by the 'News', we had it on heaven knows how many times a day, in complete silence (of course!) Sadly OH (and SIL) is rather the same, 7.oclock, 1oclock, 6oclock and 10oclock!! I think it's a boys thing, not wanting to miss one tiny item!!!
Millie had her teeth cleaned yesterday, three had to come out, her eyes were given a full examination while she was 'under, so an MOT in a manneer of speaking! I daren't tell you what the bill was - TOO much!!
Also we both had our eyes tsted, and, yes, we both need new specs!! So, as Frank would say, more expense!!!
This pm I'm off down to the village to help with an old dears 'get together', don't know quite what to expect, but it'll be a change!!!

It has been a while, sorry been health issues and a few other things going on. I try to catch up on fb as best I can.

Haven't been able to read the posts just caught sight of Jane's from a couple of days ago and just want to say I'm sorry Chester is unwell. Bloody rough when the kidneys are not functioning. I hope the change in diet will help him and prolong his time with you. I know how much you love him; I have come to love him too and all the other pets on here.

What has happened to Chris?? He doesn't sound very well. I hope all will be well with him very soon. Is it September you are going to Venice or sooner? I forget.

David sorry to read you are in hospital. I hope your operations are a success and you are home very soon.

Had a busy week with doctor on Tuesday and I managed to back up yesterday to have lunch at my school friend's home. It was a very warm day and we had lots of laughs. As always a great tonic. My daughter has started her new job and is in training, buttttt some study required to get up to speed with the products. She goes to Sydney for the 3 day course in April. She has a good work ethic and likes to be as helpful as she can to customers. Joel has been doing a touch typing course for his job and passed his test tonight, topped the class and got his certificate. He is pretty happy and this old girl is proud as punch. Next will be a certificate course in business admin. The company are really interested in training him for a more responsible role.

Liz I had the same trouble with getting on the thread had to do it by degrees of every 200 pages. It's been like that for quite a while for me.

I see your weather is still pretty cold. Hope the snow is now gone. We have had a few cooler days, but it was back to 29 today. Shirl how are things in frosty Canada?

I do hope you are all as well as you can be. I will try to read through the posts tomorrow.

I like the new Pope, although I thought they might have chosen someone a little younger. I hope he will be progressive in his papalcy and can make some much needed changes.

Nice bright morning here, Ros has washed the bedding, and it's going on the line as soon as it's finished in the WM. Must go and put her line up.
