William I hope you enjoy your second Christmas Dinner :-D with your daughter and family.I keep looking at the rest of the Turkey in my fridge and shutting the door again lol.Chester knows it is there(no flies on him).

Well I got through to the people ,and guess what !!!!!!! the voucher somehow hasn't even been sent.Stuck in the system :-S :-S :-..The good news is for some reason ( I have no idea why) but the value of the voucher has somehow increased by £131.I suppose that is better than a slap in the face with a wet fish lol
It will now be sent out by first class post in the morning, into the hands of the Roya* Mai*.So realistically it should be here on Saturday...........But we will wait and see.
My next lot of washing is all ready to go off this evening when I get my last lot back.

Now the major decision of the day......What to have for dinner :-S :-S :-S

Have been faffing around with the camera and oh has been showing me how to make a file for the hedgehog pics and videos. He showed me how to send a video to him which I did and he got it. It was 20 MB's what ever that is but I think it is quite big. The videos last for 30 seconds. Then I tried to send it to Ann but I got a Failure notice. I shall try again later when oh is with me.

It took all morning to look at the videos taken during the night. They were quite interesting, well some of them. I caught it doing a wee and then it tried a bit to cover it up by scraping at the floor of the cage. Not in the right place I may add. It also did a lot of scratching and it can scratch on it's prickles, something I did'nt think it could do.

Afternoon All,

We nipped to the next village to do errands then went to a bigger garden centre near here that has a L*keland as part of it. I got a new gravy skimmer! :-) Then we went in the W*rks that is inside and I got a new diary (I like a seperate one to my f*lofax one for some things) I also got a tiny clip on light that I think will be good for doing my beads and some card and little squeeze together polythene craft bags. OH got 2 books, I know one was about the Boer War, can't remember what the other was. I got a half price Xmas tree bauble too. I am buying the larger ones in the sales each year.........the theory is that with bigger ones, you need less and it will save me time decorating the tree!! lol. Then we were going to the retail park down the road as it has a C*rrys and P C W*rld, but at gone 3.00pm they were still queueing to get in so we gave it a miss!!

We had poached eggs on toast this morning and I froze a lot of the turkey on Xmas day. There is just enough left for OH's sarnies tonight with some gammon......I couldn't fancy any more so will have toast and pate with some salad. I still haven't cooked the sausage rolls, we don't fancy them yet!

I hope you enjoy your meal William, right now I fancy fish fingers with some potato wedges!! I think when you know you are going out you pace yourself better though so you enjoy it.

The floods in the fields weren't as bad as I expected considering it rained all night. It was dry while we were out but is throwing it down again now.

Have just watched Restless and what I want to know is how someone changes the colour of thier eyes from 1939/40 to 1976??????? Has anyone else noticed if you watched it? The young Eva has brown eyes and the older one has blue.........cock up or what. I wonder if William saw it as it is the kind of thing he would notice........ ;-)

Here I am, been up since before 6.00 am.

Oh what a Christmas. We were all packed and on the road by 4.00pm christmas eve. Conrad had already been down and taken aa the presents. up the day before with any extra food etc.

Christmas Morning arrives, we are all sat around waiting for presents to be handed out by Conrad. Dissaster strikes at once. NO MAIN PRESENT FOR ROS. from me. We searched all the packaging and box's NO luck. We then wondered if it had got sent down with Harveys lot. Rang NO SUCH LUCK.

Searched on and under the tree when we got home. NO LUCK. Rang Conrad to start the search again this morning., I then came on the computer to catch up on some Emails, and there the little B say under my desk.

Gave it to Ros with a thoushand apoligies, and it DIDN'T FIT. it was a beautiful watch. So that is now all packed to go back

Ros bought me TWO Branley Walsh type shirts from the CHASE, neither fitted, too small, so there have to go back.

I thought I packed my slippers, but not there when I got to Rutland, abd not here when I got home. I might have left them on the roof.

Apart from all that we had a nice Christmas. perhaps a little much too noise from ELLA aged 5 going on 15 !!!! SPOILT ROTTON. Not my kind of child !!!

Will try to catch up with the posts as the day goes on.

We watched 'Restless' too Mel, and noticed the eye colouring!!! Apart from that we thought it was brilliant and can't wait for tonights episode. Did you watch 'The Girl' Ann? we thought that was excellent too - Hitchcock was certainly a wierd man to say the least - sinister, like his films!
Have e-mailed you Frank but before reading your post!!!
Friends have cancelled (we thought they would) as their village is two parts under water, and more rain forecast! They are ok, but are nervous about leaving the house, in case,,,,! Foul morning, drizzle, wind and leaden skies, complete pants! even Millie and Merlin are losing the will to live!

Morning All and evening Kim.
I hope you had a nice xmas and enjoyed your pressies.

Well my daughter and family are down today soon so we start all over again..Need to pop out and pick up a few bits.

Grand children at my sons wernt well...Turns out that the virus they had was called slap cheek...Their cheeks go very red and then more spots may appear..I hadnt heard of that before..They are not infectious once they reach that stage..but it can now be 2 weeks before it appears on any one else...A lot of us may have had it as children and didnt realise.

My daughters son has ear ache so he wont be very well while here..The joys of xmas and the winter season.

HOME ALONE.!!

We picked Lewis up 10.30 am. Went straight to the Cinema to book the films he wants to see. The first this afternoon, then into Northampton to change my shirts, and let Lewis buy some games from the Money he had for Xmas. Them tomorrow they are off to see another film. So home alone again then.

I'm pleased to say Ros is a lot better today, only had the runs a couple of times. lol lol.

All the back roads around here are flooded and there has been an accident on the Northbound A 5 to Daventry from Towcester.

So pleased you all had a good Christmas. I am about to start on dinner for tonight. Roast leg of pork (Lewis's favourite) of course with all the trimmings. Will put that in when they get home,so late dinner. tonight.

Was turnin gthe kettle on after a late lunch and looked out the back door window and saw what I first thought was a mouse. It was'nt it was the little stoat. Then wetn to get my camera and it was gone. Waited a bit and saw one run from the back door and another run across the patio. I usually put the hedgehog food from down the garden under a flower pot outside the back door but had'nt collected it today yet. I think I may be feeding them down the garden instead of a hedgehog. I'll tell you what though they both had beautiful coats. They were really beautifull a soft gingery honey colour.

Oh has made a box to hold the camera and we have had it on one of the bird feeders. There have been so many birds franticly feeding I have an idea it is going to be a bad night weatherwise.
