Yes i got the scratch cards ,have put them in the little bags with all the other bits .

I've got some Serviettes but they are all odd ones left over from christmas's past ,every year i but new ones and the ones left go up in the cupboard ,i'll have the baby wipes ready too on the side for the little ones. :-D

Oh dear Ann, that was a close thing ,good job you had kept the number :-S still you wouldn't have to worry about having leg or breast with a tin of corn beef !! :-D :-D

David is it just the tree missing ,what about the decorations for it ?

Well, I'm quite miffed now! :-| The rules of council Christmas card Competition I entered said you had to live in and the photo be taken in the district. The winner was a photo that is NOT in the council's district!

Off to bed now, I still haven't looked at any more specs, maybe I could get up early enough to beat the crush tomorrow.....will see. I need to get fuel anyway.

Night Night all, To bushed to post. !!

Well I went shopping and it was absolutely heaving in Morr*son's you could hardly move your trolley.I had waited for a parking space for a quarter of an hour. When I had finished I had to wait in line for a checkout for twenty mins aand then got stuck behind a tractor and trailer half way home which went all the way at 20 and 30 miles and hour. I did get oh his lobster though and he had it for dinner tonight and thourghly enjoyed it. He has never had one in al the time we have been together and was often talking about lobster so I thought I would treat him. It cost me a tenner all ready dressed. I had a fillet steak for half the price.

Oh had put the tree in the kitchen this morning when I got up so after putting the shopping away I dressed the tree which always takes longer than you think it is going to. Whilst doing that I cooked the Christmas cake. The place is now in a mess and I am having a well earned glass of port.

If I have forgotten anything now it is hard luck as I am not going out anymore.

Oh had to ring for service this morning and go back this evening to ring for the carol service so I did the tree without any funny remarks, whilst he was out.

FRANK I never wrote that which I posted this morning I read it on the net and copied and pasted it for you to read. It made me laugh too... <3

Morning everyone,

Well the heavens have opened and down came the rain tonight. It's not looking good for the young families trying to enjoy the Carols at The Entrance. It's been so hot today so the cooler temps. are a relief. The fireworks go off at 9.00 pm.

The family has been in the pool today along with our neighbours. They all had fun while I rested. Joel went to get into his car tonight and someone has left a present on the bonnet, no name, just a sticker saying "Joel". Very mysterious, but a nice surprise. I wonder if all will be revealed tomorrow when he opens it. Looks like it is a big book.

I can't be first, CAN I !!!!

Morning all you sleepy heads, I've been up since SIX. Dark horrible morning here, rain, rain, tain, There dosen't seem any let up in it. I see the South West have got it vad again.

Jan's daughter Joe, is driving up from Torqyay late this afternoon, hope she has a safe journey.

As predicted Ros has gone to the hairdressers. I have been on to the doctor for some Antibiotics, shoul;d be able to pick them up lunchtime.

Like an idiot that I am. I got a large Leg of Pork nout of the freezer on Sat. for yesterdays dinner.Ros said we won't eat all that. So gave it to young neighbours for their dinner. We had a steak, with all the Roasts and Veg. Still got a large piece over which I will give to my neighbours dog. He will love me even more now <3 <3

Hope the water is staying at bay at yours Jane. Did your neighbour clears his bit of the ditch. (the stables)

Walking round to the doctors the other day, I see the bridle path the joins the allotments is like a quadmire. Gawn help the people who want to get veg from the allotments. The horsed have churned it up so much, it will be over your boots :-0 :-0 :-0

Conrad drove down yesterday afterenoon and took back all the Christmas Presents, The Ham (he said he will have a bit of that for his tea) !! Beers, wines,cheeses,biscuits, soft drinks,. What he hasen't got now, he can get today at Morrison# Ros gave him the £30.00 voucher. Spend £40.00 and get £30.00 off. He could stock up with meats for his freezer. I know it would have been cheaper to have everyone here, as we have overspent on the food for Christmas, the only thing we haven't paid for is the Turkey Crown. So we have done our bit !!!

I don't think I will be taking the computer with me to Rutland, so will be in touch on my return.

I have missed Genes and chatting so much the last months have been dreadful my friend in Statford was very ill and last week died it was very complicated something she picked up abroad and had trouble with her leg she became very ill. her lovley cottage is up for sale.

Beryl had fall the week after and broke her leg .Donnie left her is he went to live with one of Beryls daughters would you believe .

Michelle is with a nice man called Andrew and they have been dating.

With the shock of Annie dying I got very tired and found I had a heart problem I am on more tablets.
Had to leave Genes my computor was playing and I could not get it on when I did I was blocked by someone in Wales just these huge non anwerable messages. Genes billed me for so much time I did not have I decided to quit. Had to head right away with a lone to the States New York straight into a dreadful weather time New york was under water. We were in a sky scraper with terrible winds howling around Jess having moved from the coast. The place seem to move so we all got out just in time and went down to New Englands Matts aunt took us in.I had a few days to calm Jess who was unhappy and depressed and April wanted to return with me but little Mat bumped his head he was ok but she decided he was more important bless her.

I have not looked at genes since leaving and do apologise going so suddenly we were short of money and I could not afford to be on it.I told Kim she knew I had gone but even she did not know about Annie I could not talk about it it broke my heart.

I managed to send cards but when I came to write about Annie I could not I was crying
Perhaps you could pass this on I am still not over it happy christmas new year love from SHEILA.

Thanks Mel for passing on Sheilas message.What sad news about her good friend Annie.Then Beryl and her broken leg.What can I say about Donnie !!!!! lost for words lol.I hope Sheila soon feels better and that 2013 will be a happier one for her.

Mel whats the water situation with you? I saw Braunton on the news.Also all these people trying to get to friends and families for Xmas.I do feel so sorry for them.

Frank I think we will be ok(fingers and everything crossed) and no he hasn't done the ditch.I can't see him doing it unless he is forced to.I think I will take a photo of it then it will be easier for you to see just what I mean.

My Gammon is in the oven with a Festive Rub(whatever that is lol) I know I can smell Cinnamon) then on top of that is a mixture of Apricot and Cranberry(sloppy) then dried Cranberries pressed on top .

Ros has just come in, wind blown, hair all over the place. She now has to sort it. !!!

Rang the Drs. Antibiotics not ready yet, they closed at 12.30 pm till 2.00 pm. So will have to ring later.

We are going to snack and nibble for lunch, I all showered, ready for the off, Don't know what time it will be.

Oh my goodness..The rain now :-S :-S :-S.It is torrential.I hope James gets home safely from Jess's .I will not stepping outside the door again today,only to kick Chester out now and then for a wee.Safe journey this afternoon Frank :-D

Popped into neighbours to drop off pressies and she was'nt in.....Blast.

Delivered two cards and got caught by another neighbour who wanted eggs and I had just put some out. Got back home and hoovered and did lunch and now I am just going to washup and then make mince pies.

Must corn the chickens now and then I can settle in to baking.

Still raining. Have just rung the Drs Tablets are ready so will go and collect. Ros can then have one before we leave.

We have just had the chap from the first house that was flooded the other week.Water is now lapping at his back door.......so it's looking likely we may get it again tonight.
