Afternoon All Another glorious day here NOT :-S :-S.Is summer ever coming???
Hi Scozz.I thought I saw some of those Crisps with the little salt bag the other day.One of those multi packs.Mind you I might have imagined it lol.All the salt used to end up in the bottom of the bags didn't it and you'd end up with a mouthful.
William ,I'm sorry you both seem to be a run of bad luck lately.I do hope things pick up for you.
I have seen swizzle stick things with that coffee sugar on.You stir the coffee with them.I bought some in a posh shop somewhere but found they didn't really sweeten the coffee very much.
Pat I do hope the weather improves for your hols.Plasters always go with me on holiday :-D
Frank you are a good boy making all your own yorkshires and cheese sauce. We had cauliflower cheese last night but the sauce was in a tub off the chilled cabinet in Tes**.
Now I need to get a bit of ironing done.Chris is pootling around in the garden in his wellies and Australian waxed hat lol.He looks a real honey :-S

Afternoon all,
Not a bad day here ,still a bit windy but not at all cold , have been out in the garden getting a few jobs done ,and didn't need a jacket on .
Sorry to hear you've both been unwell William, hope your both improved enough now so you can enjoy your Father's day meal today at your daughters.
Pat, hope you enjoy your break away and have some good walking weather , yes you might need the plasters if you have to break the new boots in :-D i can see you ending up carrying Mocha if he's walked far enough gets tired LOL
Scozz, i thought like Jane that Sm*th's had brought the crisps back with the blue salt bag !! i'am sure you can buy salt free crisps in the super market .
Have just opened a bottle of Crabbi*s alcoholic Ginger Beer with Spiced Orange :-D ( posh voice now ) I say its rather good :-D :-D i might have to tootle orf and get some more, what !! LOL

Mandy I think Pat said Mocha was going into Kennels for the week.I could be wrong though. Have never had Crab*** Alcoholic Ginger Beer.Do you have to be posh to drink it? lol.I know that lady on the advert is :-D.There always cans of normal Ginger Beer here, but I don't drink it as it gives me the trots :-S,and I don't need that lol
I remembered something from childhood!!!!!!.Wooden cubes with pictures on all sides and each side made up a complete picture if you got them around the right way.Do you know what I mean?I think they were in a set of about 8 blocks.
I bet Maureen is exhausted today after her daughters wedding yesterday.I hope she has some nice pics for us.I want to see the drapes that she made :-DNot forgetting the Bride and Groom and Maureens outfit.
Chester is driving me bonkers today. He keeps making these stupid noises behind me .I'm thinking he can smell the meat hat will be going in the oven later.Even though it is still in the bag he knows it's there. It is Waitr*** Slow cooked pulling Pork with fruity Bourbon drizzle.Thought it might be a nice treat for Chris for Fathers Day.The description on the pack says.........Boneless British pork shoulder smoked over Hickory wood then slow cooked for 10 hours until soft and fork tender.
It is just bunged in the oven to cook in the bag for 25 minutes. Then you pull it apart with a couple of forks and mix in the drizzle stuff.I have Potato Wedges to go with it.Not sure about the veg yet.I might cook it all in time for James to have some when he gets up.But if he thinks it is too heavy to eat just after sleeping he can have a cottage pie .
The sun has come out now and it is quite warm.Chris says more rain due tonight :-S

Thanx Jane,my pop up blocker doesn't seem to be having any affect on them.
The Focus is good thank you.Ive only had it since Friday pm.Haven't really opened it up yet.
I had been looking for an estate car or small van,but ended up with the one I got.If I'd had need of my own transport I suppose I would have bought one the day after I scrapped the last one.
Lot of talk about horses on here lately.Do you ride?

No David I don't.In my younger days I had riding lessons every Saturday.I rode a horse called Toffee.I was never a very confident rider. In fact horses scared the pants off me.I think they are beautiful animals but never feel totally comfortable when close up to them. They are just too big for me to feel safe. :-S Talking of horses .OH dug up something in the garden this afternoon .I think it could be a bit off a horses bridle ,maybe where the Bit goes in it's mouth.I know there was a horse kept here at some time in the past so it must be from then.

Funny you should mention the trots Jane, i've just been !! :-S maybe the Ginger Beer doesn't suit me after all.
I thought Pat mentioned in one of her posts some thing about how she hoped Mocha would be able to keep up on some of the walks .
We spent ages this after noon trying to put a new light up in the conservatory ,it had two tiny screws on the side of the bit that fits on the ceiling ,do you think we could get those blessed screws in as they were so near the ceiling ,first hubby tried then i had a go as my fingers were smaller ,hubby was on the steps and i stood on a chair ,i had to take the weight of the light so it didn't pull the wire out !!! what a palaver !!
It didn't help that Hubby kept dropping the screws ,so one had to hold the light while the other looked for the blessed screws on the floor !!! But we managed it in the end ,then hubby decided the light was hanging down to low :-S :-S :-S I told him it was not coming down again , no way could i go through all that again !!! it can stay as it is .

Well it was quite anice day yesterday up untill about 4pm. Then the heavens opened and it rained all night nearly. Patio dry this morning though so washing on the line and oh out mowing. He has some new treatment for the grass to get rid of the buttercups which we are plagued with and which nothing seems to clear.
Hope all the boys had a good day yesterday for fathers day.

Afternoon all,
Had a real job logging on this morning. Had to sign in THREE TIMES.
Fiona, Sorry you are still suffering with your headaches. What is the Doctor giving you ???
Maureen will be well on her way by now, hope she has a good break, and Mocha behaves himself.
Carless for a few days then Jane, What will you do. Carch a bus to town ????
Very black overhead today, Ros did a load of washing, but hasn't put it out as rain looks iminate.
What a Stressful day I had Yesterday. Harvey and Julia came with Lewis about NOON. Weren't staying for dinner as they were going to eat later with Lara and Andy, and Jamie. They were still there at 4 pm. Conrad and Jan arrived for 2.30 dinner. Which I had all cooked and ready to dish up. Not thinking that Harvey would stay that long. So I had the job of trying to keep it warm for over one and a half hours.
The Yorkshires when ready were like big balls, and looked great. you can imagine what they were like 2 hours later !!! as were the roasts and veg. So as soon as Harvey left we ate, Ros had made a beautiful Apple pie and I made fresh custard. That finished the meal to a treat, and made up for the main. Harvey bought me some Kelvin Klien Jogging/ lazing around bottoms and socks. Both the BOYS, gave us £100.00 each to help with the cost of the repairs to the boiler. Aren't we lucky to have them <3 <3 <3 <3 Lewis even offered to draw out some of his savings. BLESS HIM.
Conrad left about 9.pm and we had a quite couple of hours before bed.
Our Prestige Steamer has packed up. The electric probe dosen't work, so will have to get another, before they all come to dinner again. (MORE EXPENCE)

Hi Everyone, the wedding went perfectly. At about 2.00 the heavens opened and it absolutely poured so by the time of the wedding at 3.00 the sun had come out. There were gale force winds but I think everyone was just glad it wasn't raining. Haven't got many photos on my camera, there was so much going on, so will have to wait for the photographers photos but I did manage to take a couple of the drapes the day before when we went to set it all up and will e.mail those. As do all brides, she looked beautiful and it was a very happy memorable day. The hobbling around on the Thursday in thick socks with my shoes certainly paid off. they were really comfortable and I kept them on the whole time.
Have been catching up with all your posts, Pat I hope the sun shines down on you for your holiday. I could do with a holiday now, it has all gone a bit flat. Never mind, it doesn't take long to get back to normal.
Sounds like you and William had a good Fathers Day Frank, Ros's boys certainly came up trumps and how sweet of Lewis to offer to help too.
I can just picture you Ann standing outside in the pouring rain, it would have been more than Gordon's life is worth to have laughed, although you can probably see the funny side now ..... or maybe not .........
Good that things are moving on with the extension Fiona, nothing worse than being left for days and nothing happening.
Hope everyone is well, no more ginger beer for you then Mandy, when I was young ginger beer had another meaning too :-D.
Lots to do in the garden, all this rain and now a bit of sunshine and it looks like a jungle out there. Better get out there and do a bit.

Well I have just come in after a few hours in the garden with Ros. We have planted up four pouches ready to go on the big tree truck. potted up down the drive all the little half moon shaped baskets. Everything has BOLTED like mad while we were away. They should have be planted weeks ago. but couldn't expect neighbour to go all around watering (IF IT HAD BEEN DRY ) :-D :-D :-D
I've been in a pair of shorts out there, and it's been very warm. Heavy clouds now building in the West. THANKS MEL.!!!!
Maureen so glad the wedding went off allright, and the rain stayed off. Where have they gone on Honeymoon ??? Yes love, I am so lucky to have boy's like them.
Easy dinner tonight, LIVER, ONIONS,MASH, and PEAS. Apple pie for afters. We have had GLIDERS over our way this afternoon. Very high up trying to catch any wind there was up there. Better them than me.

ME catch a bus :-| :-| ;-)Frank?.There is actually a stop 2 doors away. But I will probably use James 's jalopy.I think you might just about hear all the squeaks and odd noises from your place lol So much rain we have had the weeds are enormous again :-S.The poor peas are nearly being strangled.
Maureen what a huge relief the rain held off and that went well.I shall look forward to any pics.
Good luck with your Bloods Shirl. How is that remaining TOM plant???
Fitz has been getting some pain and discomfort from his op site and has been to see his GP this afternoon.I think he is hoping she will arrange for him to have a scan. His mind is imagining all sorts I think :-(.I am hoping it might just be adhesions or just the healing process still going on.
Well it is just me and the Dawg.I have been able to make a real noise with the hoover and Chester barking at it lol.Not all done ,but the rest can wait now until tomorrow.
Well I finished that book ;-) and see it is the first in a Trilogy so I will have to buy the next two :-D :-D.The post mistress was talking about it this morning and said she is going to buy it tomorrow.I'm not quite sure what she will think of it as she doesn't strike me being the type to read this kind of thing. But hey who knows lolol. Her Hubby the Postmaster was looking very stony faced and didn't say a word!!!In fact he looked slightly awkward. Must get some spuds on to par boil.
