Here I am at after 1.00 am. Wide awake and full of thoughts of my Children and grandchildren.
I have sent a message to my eldest, telling her exactley how my marriage broke up. With hindsite I should have kept my mouth shut. But it's too late, with all my tablets down my throat and FIVE TINNIES. including my sleeper I should have thought before I let loose. But home truths often hurt. and she's old enought at 48 to know the truth.. Tomorrow when I wake I might be thinking different, but we will see.

Morning /Evening All Oh heck Frank.I hope you don't regret sending that message :-|That's the trouble ,once the button is pressed whoosh there it goes and you can't get it back.fingers crossed she will realise that you needed to say what you felt was needed to be said. Your old house in Orton Rd was decked with bunting, flags and all sorts for the Jubilee. In fact most of that little rd had made a great effort. It looked great.
I need to pop out now so BBL

Morning all and evening Kim,
Yes England won last yesterday. I turned the telly on and saw it!! Don't watch the footy but was pleased they had a win. They looked delighted.
Another wet and windy day here. Talk about flaming June and global warming, I think it is more like global wetting and cooling.
Nothing planned for today only to go up the local shop for the paper. Probably do some more of my ironing as there is always some of that to do no matter how I try to do it all the min I get a dry day I wash like billyo.

Morning all,
Ros was up and gone shopping before I woke this morning.
All showered and shaved now. How can a little exertion like climbing into the loft and back, do this to my body. I feel I have been stream rolled. Then hit by a 40 ton truck.
Watch the TROOPING OF THE COLOUR. My how good are we at that sort of thing. THE BEST IN THE WORLD. and makes you so proud to be British.
Just starting to spit with rain, but the wind is so strong !!!
I didn't realise it's Fathers day tomorrow. Conrad rang yesterday and offered to take us out to lunch. I had allready got a Leg of Pork from the freezer, and we filled up with veg the other day. So they are coming here. Harvey can't make it as his Step Daughter has a leak in her roof, and he is working on that this weekend. Good luck to him in this weather. Conrad said Harvey would pop up to see me Sunday Evening. I will phone him later, and tell him no to trouble, it's only another day afterall. and I doubt he will want to travel on the M 1 on a Sunday Evening. (H E L L ) comes to mind.
Had a letter from Tesc#s this morning. offering their apologies, ans saying that action would be taken, whatever that means. Normal BLAR BLAH BLAH about staff training etc. Hope you all have a good weekend, will pop in from time to time.

Hi Everyone,
Ohh......a new pic Shirl.....is that a BEAR with you? :-0 Sorry your eye still hurts. I've got my fingers crossed for your last tomato plant. :-D
Got your pics fine this time Pat. I was loving your Cardinals, it's set me off wanting a tank again.....looks very nice. Mocca is still adorable and haven't his ears grown, beautiful black wavy hair on them.
I'm beginning to think OH has left his brain somewhere!! lol. This morning I was in the garden finding bits of slate for my 'lookout step' and he came out to see if I wanted anything moving before going back in to do some ironing. After a while the heavens opened and I moved smartly to go inside. Problem!! He'd only gone and locked the back door!! I banged on the back door......no sign of him and I could hear he'd got his music on. I couldn't get to the front door and ring the bell because the side gate is padlocked. Getting soaked to the skin I had to take my muddy shoes off and nip back and over the patio and start banging on the patio doors. Luckily after 3 goes he heard me and came and peeped through the blind. His face was a picture as he realised what he'd done. I could see he wanted to laugh, but DAREN'T!! lol.
I met up with my friend at the garden centre yesterday. Her poor horse has strangles which is a nasty thing for them to get and at one point she thought she would lose him. She's been having to inject him every day, can't use him and can't move him from the yard where he is as he's infectious. He's a thoroughbred over 17 hands high, about as big as they come and he doesn't like needles!! She said he has kicked a hole through the wood in his stable! :-S
Frank. that was an expense to come home to! Everything costs so much to repair. I think I would be in your state too if I got up in the loft. That's the trouble with email isn't it, once it's gone it's gone!! Maybe you should have saved the email and had another look at it again later this morning.....too late now though.
Just as we expected yesterday........FIL won't change their garden to make it easier other than put a bit of gravel at the back of a flower bed to suppress the weeds. He won't have bark mulch anywhere, yet they only have shrubs where OH wanted to put it!!! I feel like moving to Cornwall!!!! lol.

As you say Frank, Trooping the Colour, just brilliant, nowhere else in the world puts on such a splendid show. Makes you feel SO proud of our armed forces, soldiers marching in wonderful formation, and that terrific flypast - just GOOD!! I felt proud of them and proud to be associated with them. Well! we are settling in, and at last getting a bit straighter! By the end of the weekend we shall have a functioning shower, (no more going down to the caravan!) and next week the washing machine will be in the utility room along with the freezer! The logburner is in the sitting room, AND will have the chimney fitted as soon as Son is able to get over to give his poor old Dad a hand! Millie is settling down slowly, still a bit apprehensive as to what we are up to,but more relaxed than when we in the caravan. Merlin is fine, and has been the least affected by all this upheavel - Oh dear Ann, Strangles is NASTY, hope the horse recovers without too much trouble. Your In-Laws sound like my MIL!!! she was a very difficult lady at the best of times but when she got older, it was a nightmare, we simply couldn't do right for doing wrong, neither could my SIL or BIL - not only that she would play one off against the other, we were in favour one month, one of the others the next etc! Grandchildren the same - very wearing!!!!

Dear o dear Ann Strangles is nasty. I remember horses getting that whne I went down the stables at Redbridge. I think they used to put a mustard plaster on them years ago. They swell up so with it don't they?
Been raining all day and windy with it. Hav'nt done anything but helped a couple of people with their trees.
Chicken breasts tonight stuffed with garlic cheese and wrapped in bacon, jacket pots and spinach from the tunnel.

I have never heard of Strangles. What is it exactly? It sounds awful :-S
Well we went to Northampton wallpaper hunting and came home empty handed.A very poor choice :-S So on the way home we stopped off at Beckworth Emporium(Frank knows).Had an afternoon tea.Blimey you should have seen it.It was amazing. We couldn't finish it all.Frank if you want to treat Ros just don't have lunch :-D Then we got a trolley and filled it with goodies .Nice things from the Deli and the Butchers counter plus other things.Came away £130 lighter :-S.Must go again ;-)
Have now ordered wallpaper from the internet.Hopefully it will look ok.
Oh Ann I think you are owed a treat after being locked out in the rain.Naughty OH :-S
Liz,it sounds like you are almost sorted now :-D
Shirl what a shame your tomato plant have bitten the dust :-SLets hope the big one survives.
I wonder how the wedding has gone today for Maureens Daughter.Bet the village hall looked grand with all the drapes etc.Hopefully it stayed dry.
Janice went to the Malvern show today. She said the rain came down in stair rods :-S.She hired a wheelchair as she would not have coped with all the walking.Larry nearly tipped her out at one point lol. They were so cold and wet by the time they got home they had to go to bed.
It is now just gone 7.James is out in the summerhouse 'working'.I defrosted some seeded haddock for dinner. But neither Chris or me are hungry lol I will have to cook it,so i think it will just be fish and some cauliflower cheese maybe in an hour or so. Looks like it has just started raining :-S
