Think i will leave my central heating on all night toight I cannot stop shivering i have put the heating up so I hope it will be warmer in here soon. looking out the window it has stopped snowing but geting colder and you can see the top of the snow is starting to glisten because it is freezing . I cannot see me going to get my blood test done tomorrow morning I will keep taking the e tablets I have been on for the pass three months

Rita Please don't try to walk out tomorrow. It has been awful here today and I cancelled my appointment. I was lucky to get the blood tests done last evening just as the snow started.

No Linda I am not going to chance it it is a nightmare out there I took a look it has started freezing over it will be a skaing rink tomorrow.
I am a naughty girl I have some whisky and put some ginger wine in with it it has been there for about three years, it is ages since I had anything like that to drink as I am on warfarin I always worry but I thought blow it I will take a chance so I am on the dirnk. so long as I find the bed tonight I dont care.

show me the way to go home Im tired and I want to go to bed I had a little drink about an hour ago and its gone right to my head.

Rita....I had to laugh at your little verse..

My grandmother used to sing show me the way to go home ,when we all went on Charabane cant spell that .LOL Or Coach outing on the way home she used to sing to everyone then go and collect with a hat for the driver !!.

Nothing wrong with a whiskey now and again Rita as long as the neighbours don't complain !!!

Going to get ready for bed soon I got the electric blanket on and I do love to snuggle down knowing its snowing outside .....

Morning All you people under the duvet and those out of it.

I slept well last night but my mouth was so dry when I woke at 6 I had a glass of milk I dont think I will do that too often drinking whisky.
My bones ache like mad this weather is OK for the kids bless them but for old girls like me it is out

Marilyn my Mums Mother (my gradmother ) was of scots decent and she loved her little tipple after my Grandfather died she was left wth five young children and use to drink Wine but later as the boys started earning she went over to Gin and Tonic and she used to sing that also "I belong to Glasgow dear old Glasgow Town," yet the family never came from Glasgow they came from way up in Pertshire so I know all the drinking songs.yet never drank much only a glass of sherry on special occassions
now I like Bailys when I go out original not the coffee flavoured one. and I have that at parties or weddings.
so have that in if I get invited to any of your do's otherwise I am not coming, Lol

Rita I tried to get out of my duvet but it was hard work !! LOL

I'm going into town today ....the sun has melted most snow and its just the little roads that we dare not venture on.

All buses are working normally so that's a good sign.
Got to go and get a few needed things before I go on holiday.

I asked my Dad & his wife if he needed anything in town like milk & bread, but his answer was...... I need a bottle of whisky please !
So I guess like most people he's run out of whisky and not MILK !! LOL

we have thick black ice on the roads and yes the sun is out but it has not moved the snow and ice we have loads of cars people have parked on our car park as they cannot get into their road.
The Estate Manager has notices on all the doors telling us we have heavy snow and to be careful dont go out unless we really have to I said my god she treats us like little babies. even the hot taps has a notice beware hot water. pleasse shut the washing machine door. make sure the laundryroom door is closed incase of a fire. it drives me mad she is 32 and Polish.
I said we are not all in our dotage

I think they have all taken advantage of the snow not falling and have ski-ed off to the shops to get FOOD in while they can.
I am teariing paper up reading for shredding I thought it was about time I sorted me files out and got rid of the paper I no longer need the only thing is I now have two big black bags of paper and cannot get to the recyle bin to put it in. all it needs is father Chrstmas to come and collect bags and take mine with him by mistake someone will get a big surprise next christmas.

No I have not been drinking unless you mean TEA.

I always go to Cyprus in January have done so for 27yrs and not likely to stop now...LOL
I think I have been in every hotel there is on the Island except Northern Cyprus.

There are a gang of us that meet up every year ,and I wouldn't miss it for any other Holiday.
The fun we lot have is second to none.
Mostly Londoners and they are so funny.......cant wait to see them all.

I have just got back from the town, got me bits & bobs.....and some Cyprus money.

Now having a lovey cuppa......made some for you all.

Rita, we had snow during the night again and this morning as well. I've been out shovelling it away from the garage so my hubby can get back in when he comes home.

Mo, the huskies got lost!! I went out to look for them but there's no sign.

I've got icicles hanging from my gutters all round the house.
