Hi Girls

No Linda have no idea who they were.
That was good that you manged to get that information from Ireland 1911 c ensus. .
Shelly the Heir Hunters are old ones not new they have already been repeated three times to my knowledge so you have not missed much.
Our snow is melting but we have still large hills of it laying about the car-park.
Shelly East Enders is the only soap I watch . I sent my sister a long photo yesterday of the Queens coronation 1953 it was a photo taken in our road in Willesden and you can see the houses and mansion and the coaches and lots of children. we collected money for this trip for the kids as a celebration it was our road and the next one we conbined the two. they were going off to little California for the day in Norfolk
She emailed me and said that she didnt know we had tha amount of children in the street ? and she would never have reconized the street if I had not told her as it looks like one of the East End streets you see on Tv film.
I did laugh.she is 6 years younger than I am .my daughter was born than and was 6 months old so she didnt go.

disappeared as soon as I posted & mother filled me in that Roxy had the lions share & poor Janine had diddly squat...PMSL.

Of course I then had to watch Corrie & that went onto the 2nd part of Witless Silence.

Morning
Bounced back to Dr yesterday afternoon Really bad pains in my lungs. Hubby paniced. Apparently muscular? Still now have 2 messages left for Princess Marbaret Hospital, have clinics on Mondays and Wednesdays. Also Have name and number of Clinic in Maidenhead held on Tuesdays if this is no good. These are both private.Dr said NHS is an eight week wait !!!! How can people wait that long. So glad hubby paid for my insurance. Even with the excess.
Not too bad so far today Now have to take paracetamol every 4 hours. No other treatment until I've seen a specialist !

Well it's raining here and I have seen some green grass. Got to be better.

Have a good day everyone

Linda, that sounds really bad, if it gets worse over the weekend, go to the hospital. Are you seeing the specialist on Monday morning?

Thank you for the info about the Irish census, I'll have a look at it when I've got more time.

We can see the grass again as well, we've had 24 hours of rain and it's washed most of the snow away. I've never been so pleased to see rain!

Mo, I've got the same problem as you, one of my ancestors was born 'On the sea'. All I've got is her father's name on her marriage cert, he was called Patrick Kelley and he was born in Ireland. No idea what part of Ireland, no idea what sea she was born on, no idea whereabouts in England they landed, or when they landed here. She got married to my G grandfather in 1849.

Rita, it's strange that the person you deleted didn't come up on your tree search.

Got to sort my son out now, be back later.

Linda have you not got a walk in Clinic where you live? If your pains get worse please call in the Doctor they cannot refuse to come or call the paramedic. if you need the hospital they will take you there themselves they will not leave you if they think something is wrong. That was what happned to me I started to get pains and then they came under my right breast my sister was staying with me at the time I kept saying it was wind or something I had eaten but they said no its your lungs as you need the hospital and I was taken there right away in the mniddle of the night. so please dont hesitate if the pain gets worse phone the paramedics .mine was a clot on the lung
promise me you will do that. as l know what can happened.
Pauline thank you for the PM

Hi Mo
I have been as far as the rubbish bin and back my left foot (touchwood ) seems a lot better so does my right one but the right one is not as it should be i still have to hobble along with that walking stick of mine.
The rain has washed all the snow away thank goodness for small mercies but it has left large puddle in the car park .
I sat at the desk and cleared a lot of old papers out, ones I have printed out with informaton that came through about Family Trees.

I am going to sit down and do some knitting later on I am knitting myself a woolie hat I found an old patern I had and 8 ozs of wool so thought I might as well do that give my finger exercise .

suppose all the others on the thread are busy watching TV or doing their dinners. ?I know Marilyn is soaking up the sun luck thing.

Hi Rita, Pauline and Mo,
Thank you for thinking of me. Paracetamol seems to be working at present...... no real pain today. Managed to go with hubby to Waitrose to get some basic foods like veg and fruit and lunch for the family for tomorrow.

I am knitting at the moment Rita, a pale lilac wool as a cardigan and possibly another beanie hat for the baby. H took the first 2 sets with her yesterday. Just hope she gets them to the baby while it is still cold.

Hubby is cooking dinner now. So will be back later.

Hi all

I've had a very busy week so I haven't been able to get on pooter.

I do exam invigulation at a nearby secondary school and the AS's are on for 3 weeks so i'm there most days and i've got 2 other part-time jobs, I don't know whether I'm coming or going! lol
I could do with one of Marilyn's holidays

Been catching up with the posts, glad the snows gone, hope everyone is feeling ok

mo how are your granddaughter and nephew?

I'm quite a healthy person most of the time, I get migranes now and then and at the moment I've got a wheezy cough sounds like I'm on 50 a day but I've never smoked in my life.

I managed to see Silent Witness, I don't like Eastenders but I love Corrie but only see it sometimes as I work some evenings, I try to catch up when it's on at the weekend

Linda I am pleased to hear you have had a good day and no pain . I hope things go well for you when you go to the hospital to see someone about it.

Mo the wool colour is hard to explain it is between a dark rose and tan colour I found the bag with all this wool in it was sealed and I had never open it so I thought I would knit myself a hat. I have enough for two more but I will find my hooks and do one in that and a cap type one . as well. I have a big bag of double knitting wool in white, pink, blue, and Red there are two and four Balls in each bag of DK so it will give me something else to do ,
I am helping my sister to sort out Dads book the printers want the photos to be arranged in the book the pages we want them to go on. there will be 200 pages in it at least. I never realised how much work there was in getting something ready for printing at a publishers I would not like to do this too often.
I am pleased your nephew is out of hospital it will take time for him to get back to his normal self.bless him.
Chemo is not pleasant that is what mine is I have to inject myself three times a week. because they cannot operate on my cancers.I have had three months off but I expect I will be back on them again next month when I get my scan done.

As for you Granddaughter lets hope her Biopsy turns out OK

Love Rita

Well everything OK here. Keep on taking the pills girls !!! Never did I dream when I left school and did my apprenticeship at Boots as a dispenser that I would end up taking so many myself!!! Oh well it keeps us going.

Must do some ironing before the youngsters arrive and have a bit of a tidy up. Not too much mind as they will be bringing Dudley the spaniel and Neo the lurcher, so vacuuming after they go or in the morning to lift all the hairs. Now I know why my Dad wasn't so happy when we got our golden cocker all those years ago.

Have a good day everyone. Hopefully it will be warmer today and get rid of even more of the white stuff. Very little here now, only in piles where people cleared paths and drives.

Hi everybody, where are you all today?

Linda, don't do too much, you'll make yourself ill again.

Yvonne, doesn't sound like you have much time to yourself.

Mo, I'm surprised you hadn't heard of a cough bottle, you have Irish ancestors.

Rita must be knitting instead of being on here.

No sign of Shelly, Sue, Lady or the holiday girl.
