My advice to James is as he does not like our thread why doent he start one of his own then he will be able to chat to his hearts content about foot ball and cricket and mens things he must be bored otherwise he would not have scrolled through this thread. poor soul .

Now l am being serious (if l can ) I want to beable to scan photo and send them to others. also like to beable to send attachments but to do this I need careful instructions . I am a bit dumb so everything has to be done in easy stage's . any help would be gratefully received.

What have you done with James ?? he could have helped you out on your scanning ..LOL

Now serious..... Pauline will be your teacher on scanning of your photo, ask her I'm sure its her simplicity of explaining that you will understand.
Other wise hubby is good but he's talks over the top of my head and confuses me .

I'm at my sons house trying to get on my putter ...kids are quite good at taking over while I go out of the room !

Still icy here and snow laying, but no more fallen thank goodness.

Went into new neighbours last night and had a really nice evening, shame they are only renting.

Baby again this morning and friend here for a cuppa.

Hubbys birthday tomorrow, so all the children will be here. No work for him for 7 days too.

He got there safely this morning. Rang me at 6:00 Than again at 6:30 to tell me he'd left his sandwiches on the worktop and I could eat them for my lunch!!! Thanks darling

How everyone today ?

Its still nice and clear here in Devon .....bit put out really as we have had no snow..

Slept at sons last night, and an flippen Owl kept my granddaughter awake during the night !
I couldn't hear it as I'm deaf ..LOL well in one ear !

Son has gone to Kent so I hope he gets back OK I see there is snow up there.

I have been up since 7 but this is the first time I could get on to Friendly thread.
It is still black ice out I am in the middle of doing my washing so have to pop along to our laundry room to put the washing in the machine and back to take it out and put it into the dryer back again to take it out so you see I am tooing and Frooing this morning.
someone put some salt down on the path this morning so it is a bit easier to walk on the path.
I watched" Cranford "last night on TV one of my favourite drama's did anyone else watch that ? the next part is next Sunday. it is a special for Christmas.
I looked through the TV times for Christmas to see what films were on an d they are as old as me if not older. why dont they put something different on for a change. I think they forget a lot of people especially elderly have to spend Christmas on their own.

pauline thank you for the details of how I can send attachments I have printed it out but I told you I am a big duffy so I will have t read a few times to try it out. I dont feel very brave at the moment to try. I am tired as well I have done two large loads of washing and had three callers as well I need a strong cup of tea now and a rest.

Also Sue where are you? looking at the pictures of your horse I wanted to ask you three things. how old is he ? how many hands high ? and what is his name :he looks really lovely my friend is coming tomorrow morning for a cup of tea and I cannot wait to show her the pictures she loves horses. I bet she will love this one.

Just had two christmas cards from people I didnt send one too what now ? do I send them and say sorry or not botheror just send them. I also got a large letter from the council about the change in Council works so dont know what that is about I will have o read that as well.I did get a nice card from my Nephew from Washington in America he has thick snow out there he reconds it s the worse he has seen .he was born out there .he is due in England for Christmas on 23rd flying BA and he is also going to Italy five days aftewards and is booked with BA for that before coming back to England and flying home to America what are his chances I wonder of making all the flights.

I watched Cranford last night, I've never watched it before, wish I had, It's a bit like Larkrise, I liked the four old girls, really nosey arent they lol. Going to watch next weeks episode.

Getting a bit fed upwith this snow now, can't wait for it to melt
