Dr's for leaflet about this test
Post office for cards that need weighing
Local cards to take round
Baby coming 2:30 and friend for tea and a chat
Daughter coming tonight to download photos of France for FIL, digital photo frame for Xmas

Did the tree !!!

This morning have given both Binmen their Christmas box. Does anyone else still give them or their postman a tip? At least they take everything we put out.

I do give my One man band binman a bottle of wiskey as he's our village bin man .

Post men are changeable around here as they come by van, so I don't bother with them.

Shelly and Linda i have been up since 7 but have been busy doing things bout the flat. sorted my washing out as I have that to-do this morning got sasuages out of freezer for my dinner and peeled the potaot'es ready for the mash and peeled the onion. and cried why I did it Lol.

all my cards have gone off sorry all but one and I cannot find his new address. the local ones i am doing as I go along.

I could not give my postman a tip as we never have the same one we have a different one nearly everyday.
The binmen I don tip them either as we get different binmen and then men that come and collect the recycle stuff.
I used th tip all the above when we had the same people call but not any longer.
I do give a card into the charity shop to all the assistances one card they put up on there board. as I know them all well.

my post man gets nowt cos we have diffrent one evry week and thay are stuped cos thay post letter in the wrong door

the bin men also get nowt thay are lazzy sods and remember last year thay did not empty me bin for 5 week and that was only cos thay was to lazzy to do so

and marilyn dont be so meen and take grandoughter in the toy shop

shelly if I told fibs I would have a long nose or pimples on my tounge and i have none of these things so there .

Our postman comes around 1 .30 to 3 oclock and we have ascruity doors so they have to ring someone to let them in to delevier and guess who they ring ME usually i am having my dinner or droped off for a nap. we have nice postmen they are all indian when I first came here I had one postman only and he was John and we got on well but since he left we have different ones. The Dustman take everything out of the communal bin so we dont really see them . but they are very pleasant.

the postmen carnt read english and all the dustman do is moan and grunt
and block the roads on perpas

Rita, we have different postmen every day and they all come at different times as well, and they mix everyone's mail up.

Linda, Our binmen drop things all over the place and then just leave it. The street always looks a mess after they've been. I do give a Christmas present to the binman who collects the medical waste (yellow sack) because we get the same man all the time.

Marilyn, have you only got one man to collect the rubbish? He must waste loads of time getting in and out of the van.

Yes Pauline my binman has all the little villages to collect and there are only a few houses in each hamlet.I don't think he would ever want anyone else helping him as he gets all the goodies at Christmas....I bet he's like father Christmas by the end of the day...!!

I have this granddaughter that's talking to me non stop while I message this and I'm going to scream !!!
Hubby is asking for HIS lunch.......going mad here LOL

well I did my washing and went and posted two letter. then did my weekly shop I thought it will be packed during the week people doing their christmas shopping and Wairose was packed twice I forgot something and had to make my way back to the last isle to get it.
it is all packed away now and the meat in the freezer in bags I like to buy fresh even though I freeze it I find frozen food seems to have a lot of water in it. when I defrost.
I got back here at 12.30 forgot the door is locked then I have to use my security key. where had the time gone ????

I have had a busy day and feel tired, but I am not going tout tomorrow l hacv lots of little jobs to do.and letters to answer.
my sister is off to the archives omorrow to see if we can find out some more about Grandfathers landlady as we are hoping to find out more about her and her family.
I need to find somewhere I can look at wills in the 1923/4 as well. it is all go.

Me again I forgot to say I was just having my lunch when the Postie came he rang my bell to let him in the secruity door he pushed 7 christmas cards. two large envlopes and my bank statement as well as a letter from the council with a form so I can vote by post and also a present from my son some things from Amazon he told me no peeping so I dare not. I spend so much time opening the letters .

I don't get letters Rita but I get a lot of emails, I send most of them on to all of you. Have you found a way to look at wills yet? I don't know anything about them, nobody's ever left me anything........lol

Pauline I dont know where to look for wills either I am fiddling about trying to see if my Grandfather who died 14th Feb 1923 in Isleworth Fever hospital left anything he was living in lodging witha women who was a friend of the family but we dont lnow who she was . Gran said he was having an affair with her but my Dad and his brothers and sister said it was not true. and as his address was on the death certiciate I was looking to see if he left her his little bits he didnt have anything of value but my Aunty his only daughter ended up with his bore war medals which came to me through her when she died. so he must have left them to her. it is not gain I want to know but what happened to his things.
