Morning All
We have SNOW!!! it snowed through the night , took me a long time to get to sleep, couldn't stop coughing , about midnight I got up to go to the loo , looked out the window and down it was coming. , dosed off and up again at 4 and it was still snowing. woke up at 6.30 and we have about a couple of inches, Don't expect builders today. as there is a few things to discuss with the architect about pipes etc before they carry on as planned
Just as I write this the big machine to take the skip away has arrived they don't waste time do they, I have a big green square on my front lawn now lol :-| :-D :-D Oh!!! There's another empty skip going in it's place now.

Morning All,
Had sleety snow shower this morning already. Some blue skies with grey clouds.
Have'nt caught up with posts yet.
Had some lovely pics from Sheila of the house Jess will be living in. Looks quite posh to me. Hope she will be happy there, I can't see any reason why not.
The inverter is supposed to come today so it is another day we shall be waiting around for people to call.
Knee a bit easier today. I had a nice shower last night and oh told me to keep it uncovered if I could to let it dry out. I have a graze right on the kneecap just like a child would have!! It was pulling a lot yesterday but much better today and more the right size and not quite so hot.

Morning Jane , Morning Mel
Mel, if it was me that had the grazed knee , Sofia would have kissed it better by now, I kiss all her bumps and bruises better, remember my mum doing that when I was a little girl. <3
Need to go and post neighbours cards , then might go in to town to put a Memorial for Mum & Dad into the Newspaper office, so it can be put in next Thursdays paper.

Forgot to tell you as I was coming through the village there was a strange man with a natural white beard and hair getting undressed at the back of a hatchback. He was taking off a big red jacket with white fur trim and shoving it in the back of the car. Standing there in a white tshirt black braces and trousers. Must have been visiting the local infants school I think as there were loads of cars outside when I went into the village.
The wind is really sharp today too.

HELLO So glad you got the pictures of Jessicas house did you notice there was no bedroom picture thats because the bedrooms got no floor it had damp in and its being re done the floor. Ryan wanted it done before they moved in but it wont be completed until March and they plan to move in February they will have to sleep rough for a while sleeping bags or blow up beds. The mind boggles. If Ryan looses his job then that would cause a problem but I am only thinking happy thoughts.
Congrats to Catie they deserve something niced to happen that family.Christmas babies are always welcome after all thats what Christmas is all about. Mellie Jane is beautiful she was nine pound 4 ozs. I think her mum was glad when she came her labour was dreadful and it went on for hours poor girl.I hope the christening will not be so funny when the other little baby arrived. Poor Beryls christmas list is huge with the amount of nephews nieces and brothers and sisters and people she knows .Yesterday she spent a fortune and I was exhausted when we got back and we had to go straight out and paint our fairies.
THANK you Pat for your comment on me painting fairies it all helps to get money for the hopice in this case the childrens. I collected for the adult one last year me and my friend Sophia. Poor Sophia is not well due to the amount of weight she carries the poor love cook s and eats most of it and makes such beautiful cakes. Sophia lives on her own and I have invited for Christmas lunch. Well there is so many people for lunch one more wont make any difference. I do not have some peoples address for cards so I would like to wish you a very happy christmas and new year. Anyone is welcome to send me there addresss.
Beryls gone to Western Super Mare. today!!!! DAFT I CALL IT. Donnie wanted to see if his car ran ok. He should not be driving that far yet and when she rang me and told me I was not very nice. I hate myself after I just hate hurting people.I had to say no to two people who wanted credit in the shop today but we do not do it. Past experience showed it does not work . I did tell one women she could forget the £1 she owed my ho would have killed me. I put it in the cash drawer. I would not make a good business women.
Fiona I miss my mum Christmas her plant flowers every Christmas and it used to bloom in june until she died.
Mohsens gone for his foot operation he comes home the same day expecting him back later in a taxi Michelle went with him. What a fuss he made . He gets a recovery period but must not move for three days. More stair climbing and our stairs are steep.
Jane I hope you are feeling better . is Fritz alright hows his mum.
Well Mel seing father christmas was nice and Pat snow that is a nice christmas thing to have trouble with snow my feet go numb with cold and stay like it. WE HAVE NONE IN BIRMINGHAM. Jane have a nice day with your friend well bye for now wish I could get on here when your all on but so busy with this flipping shop. I asked father christmas for a new house it would be awful if I woke christmas morning in it on my own lol I should just be satisfied with what Ive got.
David kisses and magic butter lovely I miss all that. Have a happy christmas David and your wife.

Morning my lovelies,
We had snow in the night, but melted away now, but a bitter cold wind.
Ros just gone off for "Christmas" lunch with the Tapestry girls. Very up market place in Shutlanger, near Towcester. She cooks a lot of RICK STEIN type food and gets fresh fish each day from Devon. !!!! Ros won't be eating fish unless it's LOBSTER. I've given her an extra £20.00 so she can spoil herself if she wants to. What a great husband I am :-D :-D :-D :-D Who said "BIG HEAD" ????
So pleased Catiel, took the trouble to let me know about the BABY. I felt quite honoured that she took the trouble, but we did get along well with each other, through all her troubles. I will try to keep in touch.
Ros, Made me shower this morning before she went out, I said I would do it before she went out, she said WHAT FALL OVER. clever cloggs.!!!!
Melo, Once this is all over you will be thinking was it worth it. !!! Hope your poorly knee is feeling better today.
When we fell over as kids, Mum would spit on her hand and rub it over the graze. I don't know if it cleaned it or infected it !!! But that was all we got.
When as an 8/9 year old I fell over a join in the centre of the road with FIVE pints of milk, only two broke, but you should have seen when those two did to me. Big slice off the palm of my hand, jagged slice to two fingers, a slice off my knee and on my shin. A lady wrapped them up in an old sheet, and I walked home. My Sister thought I was playing games till I squeezed my hand together, and the blood just poured from the "BANDAGES" Doctor poured IODINE all over the cuts laid the flap over my hand and put bandages on, No stiches or hospital. Still got all the scars today.
Hope you had a good old natter this morning Jane, I saw Kettering town centre on the news the other night. I wouldn't know where I was, if I visited it now.
Ros was very dissapointed with BEKWITH yesterday. No chrismassy things around, just eating and Ice skating. That's why they went to Poddiongton. Jan wanted be be amonst festive things. They haven't decorated the house this year as they are going away on Friday and won't be back till New years eve. Then we are going up for a few days. They are off the Torquay. to see her daughter and grand daughter, her father and brothers and sisters. They are all having parties for them. CONRAD won't be the happiest bunny as he hates socialising. Misserable little Bugge#

Wow, that arrived quickly Fiona, I only posted them yesterday and 2nd class stamps too, I was a bit worried they wouldn't arrive until after Christmas.
When mine were young and fell over I would always kiss it better, told them they were magic kisses.
When my daughter was very young we were walking through a park in Southall, I'm sure you all know what a big Asian community Southall has, we passed an old Asian man with a very long white beard and she whispered to me .... is that Father Christmas .......
Mel, looking though the TV Times I spotted a programme on BBC4 on tonight at 8.00 pm all about bell ringing, thought you or OH might be interested.
I'm off down the post office now, parcel came very early this morning, didn't even hear the doorbell so I'll take a walk down to pick it up, glad we haven't got snow but if you've got it in Luton Pat it can't be far off here.
