Afternoon everyone.I have had a busy day .Out looking for a new pair of trousers this morning. But came home without any :-S.....well I had on the ones I went out in ;-) A bit of scrubbing and cleaning this afternoon, and no-one will notice I have done anything :-S
So many posts today.I haven't caught up properly yet.But Maureen.I'm not sure how I feel about Chris being home.At least he won't be here full time until September. So he will be semi retired as from tomorrow !!!! Shock Horror :-0 :-0.I find it very scary that we are now at that time of life. Frank I will try not to find him jobs but I already have a list !!!!!!!!!!! :-D
I think I said Chester was eating his new food..well he now seems to have stopped :-S He has been most odd today.Standing and looking in corners for one :-|
Tomorrow I'm going to see Argo at the Cinema with Fitz. That's the oldies morning lol.Only costs £3 .60.
I expect William and Carmel are now in Skegness with all their family. It will be a very difficult day for them tomorrow :-(.I always think this is one of the worst times (the night before)as it is counting down the hours before the final farewell . <3 to you all William.
Chicken Curry here tonight.....I stink lol

SO SHIRL HAS HAD HER YEARLY MOT THEN.
Jane that dos'nt sound good about Chester standing and looking in corners. I am afraid to say thats how my last little russel went when she had diamenture (sp). Then she would walk into a corner and could'nt get out and stand and yap till I came and rescued her and put her back in her bed.
Steak and kidney stew for us tonight. Have just put the dough boys in and mmust put the cabbage now.

That's just what I find Shirl......ONE MESS leads to ANOTHER! You start one room and then when that looks good you want to start another!! ;-) Still it's getting it all done close together.........what colour vanity and toilet are you having? That little plant wasn't killed by the snow....it's tough as old boots and has survived the previous snowy winters too. :-D
Hope you enjoy Argo tomorrow Jane. It was on for the 'oldies' here last week!! lol I know it has done well, but I didn't fancy it as we've seen a few films on a similar theme lately........OH was keen though! Do you get free tea or coffee and biccies too like we do at the 'oldies'?? :-D You have to dive in quick though for the biccies. Finally, are you absolutely sure Chris IS retiring?? lol :-S

Just popped in to say how ashamed I am to be an England supported. We had them beat hands down in the first half. Then they came out and attacked in the second half and we crumbled like a straw house. Final score 1 - 1. and how lucky we were to get away with that.
Like most of you. My parents never had credit, If you can't afford it, don't buy it. I am sure it's stood a lot of us in good stead.
Off to watch a bit of Police action now, so good night.

LOL Ann ,I don't seem to be sure about anything :-S :-S..Poor old b***** is a bit down tonight about the way he talks and eats.I think he wants to run before he can walk.He is not the most patient of patients !!!!! Yes there is coffee and biscuits, but we never get there early enough plus there are always so many people.I think for some folk the wednesday morning flicks is the highlight of the week.I think it is a great thing if it gets some people to have something to look forward to each week.
I am ready for my bed now so will say Night Night xx

Morning all/Evening Kim,
I tried getting on here at 3.30 this morning, but whatever I tried it would not open. Oh what a night. Settle down at 11.30 still awake at 1.45 tried and tried to get to sleep. Gave up at 2.30 and got up. Sat and read three old newspapers till 6.00 Went back to bed and sleept till 9.45. Had breakfast and tea, going for a shower in a mo.
Yes hope william and Carmel hyave a day that's not to stressful
Where's our Jane rushing off to then ???
Mel, thrust you to get it (snow) just as we seem to be getting brid of it. Did you see the snow stacked up the side of the road in Northern Ireland. Those poor sheep, and with all the little lambs being born in this weather. I see they are using Helicopters to drop food for them. and we think we had it bad :-( :-( :-(
Everywhere is still covered in snow, and the icicles are getting bigger and BIGGER. One on the cone shaped hanging basket must be three foor long it will soon be down to the floor !!!

After four attempts I've finally managed to get on here.
There's a programme on BBC1 tonight at 9.00 about Pompeii Jane that you might find interesting as you are going to the exhibition.
Been thinking of William and Carmel, it's still bitterly cold but at least no rain, not here anyway hope it's the same in Skegness.
After all that Shirl. you should feel like a new woman ;-) I'm off to the dentist tomorrow, have put it off and put it off, it's been over a year and I thought if I don't go now it's just going to get harder to make that appointment.
Waiting to hear from daughter as little Chloe is not well, running a temperature and is thoroughly miserable, she is seeing the doctor this afternoon so hopefully will get to the bottom of it.

Hubby has had another day off work , it seems to be first thing in the morning when his head is swimmy ,it's not to bad until he turns his head to quickly , i think he's back to work tomorrow . Poor little Katie has Chicken pox ,she's covered in spots bless her , i expect it will go through the house and they'll all get it !! they break up from school today too.
I bet Frank has been in the land of nod this afternoon :-D it's awful trying to keep awake after a bad night , the trouble is if you have a sleep then you don't sleep again at night :-S

Daughter-i-l is in for a tough time Mandy with poor little Katie, it's trying to stop them scratching that's the hardest, I've got a few little scars from chickenpox as I imagine everyone has.
Chloe has an ear infection, at least daughter knows why she's been so grumpy and with the antibiotics hopefully she should be back to normal soon.

Great film this morning. It was packed out. Oh poor little girls with Ear infections and the dreaded Chicken pox :-(.Both are miserable things.Oh well Mandy it will no doubt do the rounds with all your G Children.Much better for them to get it when they are young though.I have photos of both Hannah and James when they had CPox.Poor James was really bad.He was plastered .Eyes too :-S.We always put Bicarb in the bath water and then cover in Calamine. An anti histamine pill is helpful too.(if old enough to take them.)
Frank you must be exhausted with all your bad nights.Hopefully you can cat nap in the day to recharge your batteries.I have slept quite well lately ,but what crazy dreams. Last night I was in Russia of places with Hannah as she was on a trip with her school choir :-S :-S.Why I was there I have no idea.
I hope that Carmel and William are alright after saying farewell to Carmel's son. What a sad day for them all.Life is so unfair at times.
Maureen did you say you are away for Easter? No cooking? :-D
I wish Chester would eat his food.He seems to have given up on the dried.I think it is another visit to the VET to discuss what to try next.I did him a scrambled egg earlier and mixed it with his grub. But he just ate the egg. His nose will up up in the air tonight as I'm doing fish. But Thats mine lol
Most of the snow has gone now but it is still bitter and quite windy. In fact it looks like the wind is picking up.
:-S :-S

Oh what a job getting on here. Been trying for over an hour.
My sleep paten, I believe is down to the change of the clock, it seems to happen a couple of weeks before and after the change. Then I go back to some normality, if you can ever call me normal !!
The 'ol chicken box and measles, seems to come around, I thought the MMRI kept this under control, If that's the injection I am thinking about.
Conrad and Jan came about 2.00 pm. Ros has just got back from the hairdressers. Had a cut and colour. It looks nice.
It seems we might be going to Rutland for the weekend, will check with Harvey to see when we are having Lewis, and go from there.
BBL if I can get on !!
