Oh yes Laureli, I remember having that....it was disgusting and dark brown wasn't it and smelled as bad as it tasted! It's made me pull a face just thinking about it. lol :-P The Syrup of Figs or chocolate Ex Lax was positively nice after that. Well I still don't know who killed Danny in Broardchurch.

Welcome Laureli. I knew someone who had that Liquifruta and their breath smelt awful. I never had it but the smell is enough to put anybody off.

Night everyone and hope Chris improves day by day.

Love to all.

Morning All and Evening Kim,

WE have bright sunshine today and blue skies. It is so nice I don't want to waste it on shopping.

Tomorrow is my appointment at the hospital to have them look into my right eye at the bleed on the optic nerve. I hope it has gone and they don't have to do anything. Keeping everything crossed............but it makes it hard to walk.............

Hello everyone,

I hope you all had a happy Easter. We had drinks with the neighbours on Good Friday, a nice catch up. It was a quiet Sat. and Sun., although Miranda's boyfriend came over for dinner. Yesterday we went over to see some friends at North Entrance (other side of the bridge). Feeling very wrung out, but feeling like I achieved something.

How are all the little ones, getting over their sickness I hope. Good to see you posting Fiona and the medication is helping you.

Jane so glad you had a nice time in London. Did you enjoy Argo with Fitz? It is a brilliant film. I have been reading all about Chester and it has been very sad, yes tears at this end too. :-( It is so hard when they get to this stage. I don't know what today will bring for you both, but know I am thinking of you. <3 <3 He really is such a lovely dog with so many nice little ways about him.

Our weather has been cooler, but very pleasant. Apart from finding termites in the garden :-0 which was shock/horror. The pest man is coming on Thursday, not sure what happens next. They have always been out in the reserve, but now they are attacking healthy trees, not usual for them. They always go for the dead stumps and branches.

We had a tragedy on the weekend. A fellow went on a rampage with home invasions and carjacking. Then he went to his father's house and murdered him and his partner in front of two little children. The man was a friend of my son's and all his mates. A fellow in his mid 50's, he played cricket with the boys and was well known in the district. Those poor wee babes watching their parents die; how would you ever get over that!! The son who is 25 and from a first marriage, is in custody and they have the knife. There are 10 crime scenes across our area. Thank goodness they caught him before he killed someone else. He also stabbed another fellow in the face, he is in hospital but will be okay when he recovers, well maybe not mentally. :-( I don't know if it was drugs or he was unbalanced. I guess it will come out eventually.

Our clocks change on 7/4. It will take a while to adjust again.

My girl had a big night as she said she would and was sick as a dog. Drank more than I would in a year. She had to go to work and wanted Keith to ring in and say she was sick. Haha he said he would drag her there by the hair. She did go in, but she is still pretty pasty. A lesson learned? We shall see. ;-)

Have a good day or the best you can and take care. 9.04 pm ADST

Do you have a bedroom tax over there? Something I read in the paper, I thought it was a joke, but one of our government ministers said it was being introduced.???? Tell me I'm wrong. :-S

I have read all the posts, from when I posted and then came to Jane's last one.

What can I say that won't be said a hundred times over, Jane I really feel for you. I am only a phone call away if you want to get it off your chest. Like you I am a good listener. Are you on your own today. If so try to stay busy, believe me it's hard but will help. My love goes out to you as you know <3 <3 <3 <3

Well to happier things. Harvey and Julia turned up with Lewis in time for him to watch the football. The outcome favoured Chelsea, which pleased him.

The joint of beef was THREE boned RIB it was enormous, fortunately Harvey had Pre cooked it to rare So Conrad put it in the oven for another hour, while he got the rest of the meal ready. After carving enough for SEVEN and extra's there was still more on the bones than we had ate. Jan made a apple pie with custard and cream and a sponge cake for afters. I didn't have any, but all the pie went and half of the cake. My god can Harvey eat. He said there might be enough meat left over for a sandwich . lol lol

Dermot, You have a certain way with words, like Ann and most of the girls on the thread. I was certainly at the back of the queue with trying to express myself.

I'm glad you all had a nice Easter

. Ros has popped into Town with Lewis to book the Cinema tickets, and go to Tesc#. We gave him £20.00 for Easter, so he will see if there is anything he fancies in the games dept. When I think I had to work TWO MONTHS to earn £20.00. and they can just spend it in one throw. I must move on with the times :-D :-D

The RED KITES were everywhere going up to Conrad's from just outside Kettering right through to Uppingham. Ros was saying there is talk of a cull, as there are so many on them around now.

Looking out of the lounge window this morning, I saw two Jackdaws going in and out of the chimney opposite, so will let the old woman know. I don't know if she has an open fire, which of course can cause a lot of problems, if they are nesting.

Our your neighbours are moving around the corner on Thursday to a detached house with a huge garden backing onto open fields. When wee left to go to Rutland on Sat. I said you can use my black bin for rubbish as it's quite empty. BUT IF YOU FILL IT PUT IT OUT. When we got home last night it was still in the same position, so I went to move it and nearly broke my back. It was packed solid and Ohhhh so heavy. He came round later, and said I thought you were back Tuesday. and I was just coming to put the bin out !!!!

Bright sunshine this morning but cold enough for the poor IRON monkey's with those brass things LOL LOL

How's things with you today David/William hope things are improving
