Morning Pat ,and everyone.Evening to Kim (even though you can't see this lol)

It is so dark this morning .Heavy rain earlier ,now I think it might have stopped.Not for long though I reckon.
I woke up in the night and Chris wasn't in bed ,nor in the loo.I got a bit worried then,but he was downstairs with toothache :-S.He thinks he has lost a filling and maybe a bit of tooth.Dental appointment at 11.50 :-D

I'm desperate for a coffee so will BBL

Dull dreary and wet here today. I don't know how two days can be so different. Yesterday when I had to go out was beautiful sunshine all day and I was out in the garden till it was nearly dark. I had been up the tunnel and planted more tom plants and bought a new pump for the tank so I can have my watering system back in there and don't have to lug cans from the big tank to the tunnel. The vole I had in there that ate the potatoes I planted seemed to like the food I put up there for it and a good half of it had gone. Then when I watered the lettuce in another bed just inside the doot I noticed another hole. Walking round the end of the bed it seems it has gone in under the wood of the raised bed and come out on top!! Cheeky thing. My old runner beans from last year are growoing again in the tunnel!! Think I may have to dig them up though and plant new ones. They make such a huge root!!

Shirl yes I know exactly what you are going through love. Mum got away without and injection the third time she went I think. Can't remember now but I think she only had three in all. It was all the waiting around that got up her nose. First eye drops then see another doctor who took the pictures of behind her eyes then the doctor who tells you what the results are then the injection if you have to have it.

Jane any news of the flood front??


Mandy I still don't know what your weed/poppy is!! Probably out of some wild bird seed dropped from above by a passing bird.

Yes I got the error page to :-| so I just closed down and restarted computer then tried again and got on :-)

Cloudy here sun trying to come through,

MIL phoned ,doctor said she was able to go home this afternoon , just had to wait for the registrar to come and sign her off, seemingly she had a really bad urinary infection and that was why she was so poorly and had to have so much antibiotics. my neice will pick her up and take her home, it will probably take a few weeks till she's fully recovered.

Time for a hot chocolate, Enjoy your coffee Jane ,I still don't fancy going back on to coffee, though I might try the decaf, I certainly don't have the panic feelings I used to , mind you I don't think coffee would help the irregular sleeping problem I have at the moment

Trouble aplenty trying to get on here and security problems for me too.

It is a photo taken with my uncle (mum's brother) in 2002 and he has since passed away. I was a little healthier and chubbier then. Good to catch up with him and my aunt as I hadn't seen them in years.

I can't go back and read any posts as I'll lose this, so can't comment on your news.

Good luck for your OH with the dentist Pat, the poor man. Nothing as horrible as a toothache, well giving birth isn't flash, but you know what I mean.

Jane is there flooding over your way?

Hope Genes sorts these problems because I couldn't get through to seek help.

Oh has just had a look at your weed Mandy.

He thinks it could be turnip or swede!! or the cabbage family somewhere down the line. I must admit it is like turnip leaves.

Morning all (JUST)

What a surprise this morning, I woke up and layed a liitle while. Looked at clock, thought it was 8.50 am (OH NO) 9.50 am Can't catch up with myself yet.

Black as your hat out there this morning, Rained quite a bit in the night. Lights and heating on.

Ros has popped of to Tesc# for odds and sods. She's not seeing Martine this weekend. (I didn't realise it was bank Holiday) I thought it was next weekend. That's ther trouble with being retired, each weekend is like any other.

Sorry to hear Kim is still suffering, she must get fed up travelling back and forward to Sydney. That photo makes you look very well !!!!

Poor old Chris, Nagging toothache, worst pain in the world. I had one for three weeks, while camping in Spain in the early 70s Lived on local brandy, washing it round the mouth !!! Keept the pain at bay, and I had that lovely feeling deep inside. Had the tooth out the same day I got back to England.

Shirl, I am sure the only Royalty they would find for you. WOULD BE A ROYAL PAIN IN THE AR##. SORRY. Had to get that one in.

David, If you continue to get pins and needles down your arm. GET TO THE DOCTORS. get it checked out. Tension is not a great thing to have either.

Could the error notice everyone is blighted by be caused by posting photos and attatchments that have come from or through other computers?

I've had trouble even connecting to the internet the past couple of weeks and with bringing websites up as it was chucking me out before I got there!! :-S I have just rung my provider and they have refreshed the settings and here I am!! :-D Will not know if it's done the trick for a few days though.

It sounds like your MIL could be on the road to recovery now at last Fiona and hopefully she will get her appetite back as soon as she feels a bit better in herself. My MIL is having these bladder treatments because of repeated bladder infections.

I hope your eye is improving Jane and poor old Chris with his toothache.....nothing worse, but hopefully sorted by now.

Kim I hope you are getting over your trip to Sydney.......travel is tiring anyway, but must be exhausting for you.

OH is back at MIL's now to be there when the doc comes back again as FIL is getting worse and is in a lot of pain.

I have a routine appt at the docs soon so better get ready.

Sorry Jane, totally lost the plot. It's Chris who has the toothache and not Pat's husband. Pat can't get on yet. I was talking to her on fb, got mixed up. I've been getting the error message for over 12 months now and takes me ages to get to the current page of this thread. Today I was getting security messages about the site across the top of the screen. That has never happened before.

I wonder if all this trouble is something to do with this new high speed broadband they are connecting all over the country?

My pooter has been having trouble just getting ont he net and I keep getting the message from BT that says Diognose connection problems. Oh had a look the other day when I could'nt get on and clicked on the Fix box that comes up. Then some other bits and pages and said it was a load of rubbish and they only want you to think they are doing things for you. I usually just cross the box thing out and restart the pc and keep trying till I get in :-| :-| :-| :-| :-| :-| :-| :-| :-|

Still dull and cold here today so think I shall go up the tunnel.

Hi Back now.Weather still dull and cold..Mocha went for a short walk

We have a larger aquarium now and the fish are now settled..We have 21 original fish and 28 babies lol..Only 3 org femails.amomgst the guppies and platties.The tetras are all male ?.and dont give birth to live fish.The females lay eggs lol

So once we can tell the sex of the new ones we will know where the next lot of babies come from..

Alan will be in soon then off to sainsbu*ys to do a food shop..heating on and washing drying on airer..This is my lap top the keys are slightly different and the lettering on here smaller. Keep knocking the capital button instead of the letter a...

Nice picture of your dog Sheila.. Kim your picture is nice well even tho I had seen it already...It s a pity we cant share photos so easlly on here like F Book..
