Really unwell this week, just wanted to send my best wishes to Fitz via Jane and hope his operation goes well, plus your sister back in hospital tomorrow Jane. All the best to Janice too.

Sorry your not feeling well, thought I was going down with a rotten cold again yesterday, OH just getting over one, but woke up this morning and it seems not to have developed.

Weather lovely and sunny this morning, with blue skies, I expect it will be cold though. all the Daffs are out in the back garden, a mass of yellow & white.
My little plants in the back porch are starting to fade now, can't expect them to last forever :-( :-(

MIL phoned last night, sounded low again, she says she has been told that the doctors are sorting out the medication plus extra Morphine that she will need when she goes home, they have done all the tests they can do and there's nothing else left to investigate, she will just have to learn to cope with it. along with exercises. I think she is down because she feels her life and her independence will never be the same.

Well I better get myself sorted for going out to meet friends for coffee, also need to return 2 prs of trousers I bought , TO BIG ROUND THE WAIST, should have tried them on in the shop, but was in a rush :-( :-(

Sun was out earlier but it seems to have gone for the moment.

Poor Jane today worrying about Fitz and Janice tomorrow. All us on here worrying about everybody too............................It is going to be a hard couple of days to get through and I bet the time will drag like anything because we want them to pass quickly.

I went to bed earlier last night too and read for alittle while.

Washing in machine again..Have started the bedrooms they have been vacummed just need dusting now..Then Im off to do my session in the charity shop..Bought something yesterday in the other one..When things dont sell in there they have a 99p rail so bought something off of that.

Thanks for sending your wishes for Fitz and Janice.It will just be nice when they are both out of hospital and getting back to normal again.I doubt I will hear anything tonight about Fitz.I imaging Georgette will be inundated with people ringing her to see how the op went.I may pop in on his Mother this afternoon.I'm sure she will be worrying about him.

Please remind my, NEVER eat smoked Mackeral before bed. Even with a glurp of Gavi. I was still awake at 3 am. Didn't want to get up this morning.

Ros is already out in the garden, weeding and planting Iris's. I will plant some more seeds, and maybe cut the lawns again.

What time does Fitz go down this afternoon Jane ???? I'm sure everything will be O.K.

Frank I have told you before if you are going to eat smoked mackeral always always eat walnuts after it as they help an awful lot. About 8 half ones should do the trick.

Suns is out here now and just going to put something in the washing machine.

Have hoovered and did a bit of ironing.

Waiting to see if the Budget does any damage to us personally! Gloom and doom, bit like the Eurovison Song Contest. Talking of which, has anyone else heard the Englebert song? I don't think much of it, it sounds dated, a bit like Engelbert! Why didn't they do something about the Olympics and if it didn't win, at least it would give the event a plug and we'd maybe get SOMETHING out of it. Unless the tow us a bit nearer to mainland Europe, we don't have a cat in hell's chance of winning.

Hope Frank is feeling a bit better. I'm going to see our Doc tomorrow as I'm getting a lot of reflux at night. It's agaony.

Another lovely sunny day here , got more of hubby's dust sheets blowing on the line ,so far i've washed six,only another fourteen to go :-S :-S

Just having five minutes while i'am waiting for my floors to dry ,been to the car boot this morning with DIL and Katie ,found three more Lillip*t Lane Cottages for £2 each :-D

BIL has gone in today to have his op for the Carpal Tunnel in his arm , he is having the muscle move to help get the feeling back in his hand ,he'll need the feeling in his hand to hold the crutches when he has his knee done !!

Right it sounds as if the washing machines finished ,that's another sheet to out !! and i think my floors dry now .

I have never heard of the walnuts helping indigestion after fish or is it just Mackerel ?

Just going to watch Doctors and then get out to carry on sweeping up all the dried up leaves that are on the gravel in the front.They have been lying there since the Autumn :-S :-S.But because they are so dry and shriveled they are quite easy to brush into heaps.

Come in for a break, Have put loads of flower seeds in trays, All watered and on the new shelves that Ros has bought for the greenhouse. I've also set my Tomato seeds,Cuecumbers next month.

Ros is still busy againt the fence, clearing areas and putting in tree iris's, they should grow to about 10 foot She has put 9 down the fence, and will train them up. From the photo's on the Web site they should look a treat. If they all come up, will get phoro's

Wasn't going to start anything off from seed this year as last year most of the little plants got eaten before they could grow but have succumed and have limited them to a few different annuals, all in trays on the sunny window sill.

Am off on my Jack the Ripper tour tomorrow, we are going up to town early to have some lunch and a drink, might need a few drinks ..... Dutch courage ...... :-D

Hope this weekend is nice then I can get all those plants I got for mothers day into pots.

Thinking of Fitz, he's probably half way through the op by now, hope all goes well, same for Janice tomorrow Jane and wishing you a better day Kim.
