It is also OH's birthday tomorrow, he'll be 59!! I'm panicking a bit because I hid one of his pressies a few weeks back when he came home unexpectedly early. Can I remember where I put it?? :-S

Had another titter at beading class today. The hedgehog lady was saying the hedgehogs are all waking too early this year and that if we see any we should put cat or dog food out as there will be no slugs or snails for them to eat yet. She was then saying how their spines come through the skin 2 hours after they are born and had any of us heard the loud noise they make when they are mating!! Everyone looked surprised so I just said. 'wouldn't you make a loud noise with all those prickles. :-0 :-0 lol,lol.

I'm thinking of having an early night aswell,
MIL still in hospital, no sign of her being sent home as yet, so OH & I are going down to Lancashire to see her tomorrow,
Need to do the weeky shopping first though , then will leave about 10 ish and travel to Chorley, it takes about 2 1/2 hours so that gives us time allowing for 1 stop (for loo) to get there just before 1 ,go to BIL for lunch then up to the hospital for afternoon visiting then we will have to leave straight after to get home before 7.30, want to be home in pleanty of time for daughter no 1 & Sofia coming to sleep.


Probably won't get the chance to come on in the morning so hope everyone has a nice day.

We have to be at the restaurant by 6.30 pm tonight. Everybody needs to be in place before the Birthday girl arrives at 7.00 There will be 17/18 of us. So hope the food stays hot with all the dishes we will have :-D :-D :-D Poor waiters. !!!!

Happy birthday to Hannah and Gordon. Ann did you find that present?? I loved the bracelet by the way. It would have taken some dexterity to plait all those strands of beads - very pretty!!!

Pat I don't think much of your breeder either. That pup has been through so much, makes you wonder about the health of the rest of that litter.

It has been another sunny day, the rivers are slowly falling so relief in some areas of the state.

Sheila I'm sure gg.uncle whatsit was a nice fellow, probably found that the celibate life was not to his liking, but would have done a runner I'm sure going interstate to live and one bub before wedlock. They are only human. I have some paperwork saying he had the most beautiful singing voice and his bell ringing was superb. He worked in a large parish, had a hand in the church construction and was the archbishop's right hand man. He also taught - it just wasn't enough I guess. There is a book written about him that I would like to get my hands on, must see if the local library has it.

Nice and sunny here ,hubby's now getting the pressure washer out to do a few slabs , they are getting quite green and slippery .

Lovely day for traveling on the train and seeing the country side , i hope Jane likes the new boyfriend ,poor chap i bet he will be nervous for the first meeting .

Happy Birthday to Hannah and Ann's OH , i hope the present has been found !! i put things away and then forget where i've put them .

Well I have been up the shop and got the papers and done a bit of ironing and had lunch and not done a thing since. It is colder today.

Yes <3Happy Birthday to Hannah. <3 I bet her boyfriend is wondering what Jane and her hubby will be like too!! Better to be too chatty than silent at a first meeting!!

I found that pressie for OH thank goodness!! It was a book called 'The British Olympics' he asked me to get for his birthday, so I could hardly rush out and get him something else could I!! He is opening his pressies before we go out for a meal tonight when he gets back from footie. I had to go out early this morning to a day course at the Records Office so there wasn't time before I went. Boy, all that sitting hasn't done my back any good at all!!!!

I hope you feel a bit calmer today Frank, and that you have a nice time.......quite a big get together!!

Since the last update this computer has not been right! First the toolbar disappeared and the bottom bar you can zoom the screen up with disappeared too. I eventually got those back, but the cursor keeps vanishing, yet if you type it works ok. Also it keeps freezing for a few seconds. I wish they would update WITHOUT messing up what was alright. :-| :-|

Well I had a good hour in the tunnel and cleared a lot of dead stuff.I now just have to sweep well and disinfect then dig and plant.

Evening All
Been a long day, but glad we went to see MIL this afternoon in hospital, it was a surprise for her as BIL had not told her we were coming, she was looking much better and was managing to get around easier on her feet, the pain in her shoulder has gone to, they are still saying that she has servere Arthiritis in the lower spine but we don't think that they will be able to do much for that , but she will probably just have to take painkillers for the rest of her life, and not to over exert her self, and she has not been told when she will be able to go home which is depressing her even more.,
unfortunatly she is not eating very much, the hospital food is awful , so she has no appetite, All her visitors are bringing in food that she likes to try and tempt her to eat,
She always was a fussy eater, don't like salad, not keen on veg or fruit, likes rice pudding but the hospital doesn't put sugar in there food or use salt so the food is very tastless.
But she did seem brighter when we arrived, and OH says it good to hear her moaning again, as when she was in a lot of pain she had no intrest in life at all.

Well we are waiting now for no 1 daughter & Sofia to come, they are sleeping over night as SIL is flying to London for work early tomorrow morning, daughter no 1 not feeling all that well so not sure if she is going to work or not tomorrow,

Well I'm going down stairs to watch TV for a While, hope Jane has had a good day, I will say good night to you all

We had a great day,and it was lovely to meet John.What a smashing chap ,and Hannah looked so happy.
I can't talk anymore now as I feel totally frazzled.We are just going to have Pizza and then an early night.

I am so pleased you liked him Jane as it makes a lot of difference knowing she is happy while away from home. Did she like her pressies and what did John get her??
