Hi All Just came on to say thanks Frank for the Halloween e-mail card,
Tracey, I still have to go to hospital on the 31st October for more blood tests, screening for MSRA, urine sample, the usual Temp, pulse and blood pressure, and anything else they fancy doing, the list could be endlis, seems this is the normal procedure they do before an operation. I also have an appointment to see the consultant at 7.00pm that same night, then I have to be at hospital at 7.00am on Wednesday(2 Nov) morning for my operation.
Still on the same low fat diet but have been told that I will have to start eating an normal diet about 2 weeks after the operation as after 3 weeks I will receive another appointment to go back to hospital to see the surgeon to make sure all is well.
Off to bed now Back tomorrow night night xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Evening all Haven't managed to get on here tonight, saomething called Lewis has hogged it all evening, playing games.
Jane, the old cat doesen't complain about anything, provided he has his food, water, milk. He is now sleeping day and night on the arm of the chair. Ros has covered all the chair arms with ol.d towels so he dosen't dribble on them. He gave up the shower and outside the bedroom door a week or so back.
Lewis has just decided he wants a shower, and to wash his hair.. After that he will be straight into his bed. and settle down with T.V. till he drops off. SPOILT or what.
The Rice pudding was a smasher, all soft and creamy with a nice shin on. You know the sort don't you JANE :-P :-P :-P
Mel, It's a good job you weren't having a G & T. you would be well brahms and list by the time you finished.
SHIRL, you were never that YOUNG. were you ????
I'm going now before I upset someone.
Goodnight to you all, sleep tight.

Hello folks,
Have been trouble getting on here, but health very poor and no energy.
Monday was 32, so hot and lots of bushfires in the Blue Mountains - arsonists again and they came so close to houses. Frightening so early and still in spring, what's summer going to be like. Jane sounds like you need some torrential rain to put that fire out, you must be thoroughly sick of it by now. Thanks for the pics of little Ethan. Nice one of you with him - he looks a happy baby.
Like the photo Shirl can just make out you and hubby having a drink together. Thanks for the nice pics, your girls are lovely.
Hope puss is ok Frank. Horrible to see someone's pet by the side of the road, breaks your heart. I have lost a few cats to cars, but not for years. Keep my girls inside at night.
Mel, my blood won't run. They always have to use a butterfly with me or I tell them to if they are smart enough to listen. Sometimes a heat pack will work if you have to fast. I get sick of being jabbed and prodded, been happening a lot lately, needles that is, before you comment Frank!!!
Hope you are all well. Afraid I haven't taken in all your comments, the brain is in fog at the moment. Have a good day. Boyfriend problems here, the house is under a huge black cloud at the moment and the mood is terrible. Wish us luck, it could go either way :-( 2.19 pm EST

Hope all are feeling better this morning with ache and pain wise.
Hav'nt caught up with posts yet.

Have read all your comments about my five cups of tea!! Gosh if it had been wine or g& t's I would have been ok..............Hic Hic :-D
I tried to delete them this morning without any luck!!!
Shirl I did get your email with a very glamerous girl on it. It was like a pic out of a magazine of a model or a film star :-)
What a clever girl to get your pic on here at last.
Jane when you get back I hope the meeting went well and you thought of more things to complain about.
I am still having trouble getting on here all through the day. I have toget in via and old message from someone on GR. If I try to get in through my favorites I just get the pink Error Page and have to return by the arrow at the top left of the page.
Chicken veg is bubbling away and I shall have togo and give it to them. They like their hot mash in the morning.

Morning Kim ,Mel and all KIm I hope your fires there are able to be kept under control.I don't understand these arsonists.Do they live near the areas that they set on fire or do they live a safe distance away.??.Brains the size of a pea I reckon. Sorry you are still feeling so unwell.I'm sure you could do without the 'Boyfriend' trouble . :-S :-S.
Mel ,the radio car was in Elaines drive with the Huge aerial feet high .The reporter was called Tom,a really lovely chap.It went live on Northampton Radio and he interviewed 3 people then.He had so many minutes for live airtime. We all then trooped indoors as it was really chilly and he interviewed me and Alison (who owns the stables).Ours my be on something called Drive Time this afternoon.Frank will probably now that as I think he listens to Local Radio.I think I talked a load of rubbish really lol.I am fine talking and discussing things face to face with people ,but stick a microphone in front of my face and the brain seems to go to mush :-S :-S
It is a really bright and sunny morning but it does feel much fresher. I need to and get some cash ,in case the man delivers our logs today. He may not come until the end of the week ,but `I don't want to not have the money ready for him.

Here we are again, What a B mess Genes is getting into. Just clicked back on a page and went back to pages 1/10.
Nice morning here also. Conrad came about 10.45 and has taken Lewis to the Golf range. Ros and I are not going out. Lewis needs a haircut also, so will do both at once. When we have time, whenever that will be. !!!!
Ros was at the Doctor's again yesterday evening. He has put her on a new patch "MATRIFEN" it's morphen based. and has to be changed every 72 hours. Got to gto back when these run out, if no better he will increase the dose. I will soon be living with a druggy :-D :-D :-D :- But if it gets her out of pain, who cares. But she must be careful driving, it can make her sleepy.
Lewis picked a bag of Sloes yesterday on the way back from the Cinema. I will have the job of pricking them all and putting them in the GIN. How long do you keep yours Jane, before you have a tipple ????? Will try to listen to "DRIVE TIME" this afternoon, to see if I can catch you.

Can't they do something about that fire Jane, instead of letting it burn on and on, must be horrible living with that smell.
Did you manage to throw anything away from your sort out Ann, I must go through summer clothes and sandals but I bet I don't throw anything out, I've still got all the bigger size clothes in the loft (just in case).
Hope Sheila is okay, noticed she hasn't posted for a while, good to see your post Kim but sorry you are not much better. 32 degrees already, don't think we got that in the height of summer. How can people be so irresponsible as to start fires. Yes, I have had my share of highs and lows with the girls and boyfriend problems, thankfully they are all settled with partners now.
I'm still trying to get car insurance, my head was buzzing yesterday, going through the same information time and time again, I got to the stage where I couldn't even remember my phone number. How can there be such a big difference in the prices I've been quoted, some almost double.

Oh dear Fiona,do you feel like you will be clucking soon ;-).Hopefully you will soon be able to enjoy a more varied diet.
Maureen, apparently today the fire service are starting to dump soil/clay on parts of the fire which will then have water and foam sprayed on top.It seems they have been trying different ways of dealing with it and this is the latest trial. It sounds like the company "Think Environment" are dodgy and devious.I bet when ever an enquiry ends we may find out all sorts :-S :-S.
I saw my friend and neighbour talking on Look East at lunch time.It was funny seeing her.

Sorted at last. Don't have to think about insurance now for another year.
One bonus on working at the house, it's right next door to son's, so I am seeing a lot of Finley. He spent time with me when I was working in the garden, saw me pulling up weeds and old grass and throwing it in the recycle bag so he decided to help by picking up handfuls of earth and throwing it, most of it landed on me .....lol. and when I was leaving for the day he said .....nana, don't go ....... aaahhh so sweet.

Afternoon Everyone,
What's this glamorous photo Shirl. is it one of you I haven't seen or those pretty granddaughters of yours. ;-)
Maureen, I managed to fill a bag with a mixture of stuff including a few pairs of hardly worn shoes. You know the sort......a bit that rubs your toe or catches on your heel or they seem to have hard leather or no give. Why do we buy them in the first place and then think that keeping them in the cupboard will make them fit one day!! lol They will be going to the shop at the dog's home tomorrow. I am the opposite to you......my 'SMALL' clothes are in the loft, waiting for me to be able to wear them!! lol :-S I know what you mean about trawling the insurance quotes......I do it too and always have trouble with the 'occupation' bit, especially when I do it for OH as nothing fits. Then when you get the results it is hard to compare like for like as some have different excesses or no courtesy car and then you think there must be a catch with the very cheap ones!!!!. You can save a lot of money though so it's worth doing.
Sorry you are so tired Kim..........the boyfriend trouble stress can't be helping you either. How hot does it get where you are? I would be flaked out in that heat!!! I suppose there is a lot of risk of fires with it getting that hot and of them spreading without idiots starting them.
Jane, I know what you mean about 'mush'. I used to hate them videoing us in training 'role play' at work for the same reason!! lol
We were at Nuneaton this morning. They do have a good market there that takes up the whole length of one of the main streets. There were even new beds and settees there today.......must be hard work transporting those about!! OH had some errands to do so I had a poke around a few of the busy charity shops and got some nice chain for my jewellery class. I also got an 'as new' autobiography of Ranulph Fiennes for £2. (£20 originally). I have read some of his 'explorer' books before so was pleased to see that.
