Morning Mel

Windy & Cold, doing a bit of ironing and a little bit of washing , no pain today but still feel queezy, at least I'm not falling asleep all the time.
Happy Anniversary Pat, Have a lovely holiday,

Want OH to take me to B&Q this afternoon as I would like to buy a set of plastic stacking drawers for Sofia's toys , at the moment there in a big box but I am finding I don't have the strenth to lift it, so if I sort out her toys and soft animals into drawers she can take 1 drawer out at a time, and then there won't be a big mess for me to clear up , she can put the drawer away herself to.

Mel I see you got on. I just made it after much ado. I did get to post that information for the lady, so I'm pleased about that.

Sorry I haven't read all your threads because of the problems on the site, but I hope Frank and Fiona and anyone else are feeling a little better today.

Jane, hope you have enjoyed your time with Ethan and got some sleep.

Ann it was really nice to receive the flowers. They are a great group of girls and from the photos on Facebook, there are a few hangovers among them, lol. Welcome to George!!

Maureen, take care of that wrist. I had RSI from my typing days when I was doing temp. work in Melbourne. Could not even lift a cup of tea for a very long time.

Pat, happy anniversary and have a good time in Majorca.

Weather has been lovely here today. Take care everyone. 9.56 pm EST

Afternoon Everyone,

Phew, what a nightmare the site has been...... for a few days I have found it bad......so difficult to get on in the evenings........yesterday worse than ever! I contacted Genes to see what was wrong and even doing that took for ever........no reply yet! :-S

Happy Anniversary Pat........hope you are feeling a bit brighter now......enjoy your hols!

Weather's the same here Mandy....lovely! The paintwork in your hall is nearly finished then, just the carpet to sort out and you can display your cottages. I think that colour background will set them all off a treat!

OH has gone to Gainsborough today, doing 3 stints for Radio Leicester as well, so he will be quite late home. He told me yesterday that he had visited 750 different football grounds in his life up to now.............I told him he was turning into an 'anorak' !! lol :-S :-S

I want to get on with the garden, but my back has been playing up since the stint earlier in the week so I daren't just yet. Also, OH lashed his big hooves across the bed the other night and really whacked and stubbed my toe next to the big one. I had gout in that toe years ago and it has never been the same since.....trust him to stub that one out of the 10!!! lol How can I believe he is sorry when he is splitting his sides laughing as he says it!! I got stabbing pains in it yesterday after that.......seems a lot better this morning though.

A cuppa next I think!

Mel, Glad you got it, I can leave feedback now.

We picked Lewis up after Ros's dental appointment. She has a broken tooth. They will do a root canal job on her and remore the nerve, and put a cap on the tooth. £204.00 up front. !!! Last month it was new glass's. She's getting a bit expensive to keep. Will have to start looking at a younger/fitter model :-D :-D :-D :-D

Colds a lot better today, had a big sneezing bout last night, and cleared my head. Had a couple of beers as well, so sleept like a log till 8.30.

Lewis has gone of with Ros to Tesc#, bet he comes back with some goodies!!!

Kim, nice to see you around, How are you feeling. (don't say with your hands ) :-D :-D :-D

Jane I bet your visitors noticed the cold yesterday when they arrived. How the boilers doing this year.??? still playing up

Fiona, we bought some stacking raffia covered metal framed drawes for Lewis's bits and bobs, It did save his toys laying around everywhere, Ros now uses it for odd and ends, in the conservatory.

Mandy, Make sure you keeps your hands off the paint. No touching to see if it's dry ;-) ;-) ;-) and you will have that lovely fresh smell everywhere. Unless like some you can't stand it. then all the windows will be open.

Well so far so good , no trouble getting on ,wonder how long it will last .!!

No Frank i won't touch the paint , although saying that i did grab hold of the hand rail that had just been varnished last week :-S .....well how was i supposed to get up the stairs , i need to hold on , doesn't seem that long ago i was taking the stairs two at a time!!

Fiona, those stacking draws are ideal for toys , we have a pine toy box for the little ones toys and its full, the other day DIL came with a bag of toys to go in there ,i think she's been having a sort out of toys ,making room for the new toys at Christmas.

Ann, your right i think the cottages will look good with the pale colour behind them, the shelf won't be going up this week ,i think hubby needs a rest this weekend so we might have a ride to the coast tomorrow ,weather permitting .
Has OH been to Norwich football club?
How did your Jewelry lesson go yesterday ?, i carn't remember what you said you were making this week.

Better get some veg sorted out for tea ,then we're off to sisters later for a mardle!!

Annx Report 22 Oct 2011 17:21

He just rang so I asked him if he'd been to watch Norwich Mandy. He said no, but it's on his tick list!! What is he like!! lol He mostly watches Non League football, (much cheaper thank goodness!!) Hope you have a good mardle tonight!

There was no beading class yesterday because of half term, I quite missed it, but I think we are doing a 3 strand necklace with small beads next Friday. I bought a pair of earrings in a sale yesterday that will make nice little pendants for necklaces.

I've just ordered 2 xmas pressies for OH, a dvd of the old version of Tinker Tailor, Soldier, Spy he wants and The Best of Matt 2011 cartoons.

Newer Model Frank! .......that could be even higher maintenance, but in other ways!!!!:-D :-D

Jane

Jane Report 22 Oct 2011 19:13

Hello Folks!
Well I am all back to normal ( I think) lol.It was so nice seeing Ethan and his Mum and Dad.Ethan is a lovely little baby, but obviously quite bemused with all us strangers :-S.We had a stroll down the lane ,but couldn't go too far because all the smoke from the fire was down that way today. It was really quite bad.
On the way back up from the lane I spotted a poor dead tabby cat on the verge.I have asked at the stables if they are missing a cat (it is not theirs),then I suddenly thought about Fitz and his Tabby. So I went down to see if Podge was around. He wasn't ,so Fitz came to check and thankfully it is not Podge.I don't know who else the cat could belong to.If it is still there on Monday I will ring the council to come and take it away.
Ann ,Chester was allowed to stay at home ,but I did have to shut him away a few times when Ethan was having a little free time on the floor.Poor Chester has had his nose put out of joint and was desperate for attention.Every toy came out of his box,and he thought all Ethans toys were his lol.He is pooped now.(thank goodness)
I have not seen all the posts as it has been such a ******* to get on here .Hopefully it is all back to normal now.

Frank

Frank Report 22 Oct 2011 20:27

It's that time again !!!! Lewis and Ros are sitting watching IT !!!

While out shopping with Ros this morning, Lewis said "Nanny when I get my car, I will come up every Saturday and get your shopping for you, and I will pay for it every other week" Only 4/5 years to wait :-D :-D :-D BLESS HIM <3 <3 <3

So you are back to normal now Jane, bet Chester thought his christmas had come early having Ethan's toys around. Did he get chance to have a chew.??

Mandy, I thought you might do something like that. Years ago I was painting the skirting board in the bedroom, when my Labrador decided to visit me, over went a tin of white paint, and he trod through it, on a blue carpet.

Mel, Glad you were able to download your photo's. I still have a old camera with film in, Can they still develop them ??? It might be fun seeing what on it. :-0 :-0 :-0

No liz today, Hope they aren't trying to do to much, and have knocked themselves up !!

Ann, I am a firm believer that fireworks, should only be allowed at organized displays, when they get into the hands of these youngsters, there always seems to be an accident. We had two round here last year.Bad burns to hands and arms.

Hope Ebay has plenty to keep me away from the Tele, for the next one and a half hours. The trouble is, If I see something I like, I am likely to buy it. Then it becomes an expensive evening.

Jane

Jane Report 22 Oct 2011 21:45

Frank ,I'm afraid Chester got chucked out of the room when he started to think Ethan's toys were his :-S :-S.
I am watching your NON FAVOURITE programme.
Tell Lewis ,you will get that offer in writing !!!!!! ;-) ;-) ;-).That is a lovely offer .He might not remember saying that in a few years :-
I think I will just watch the end of the X F and then be off to Beddy Bobos'

Hi Everyone

Got some stacking drawers for Sofia's toys and it looks good, but I had to go back to bed when I got home as I was very tired this afternoon, and feeling sickly too,
got up at 6pm and have had a relaxing evening just watching the TV, now it's time for bed.

Night night
