Thanks Jane!! I do hope all your family are 'collected up' in readiness for your w/end family get together. Just had a big parcel delivered??!! No, it's a heater for the workshop of 'you know who'!!!!! oh well, we can live in hopes!!!

Mel that's unusual for you. You normally sleep like a top, hopefully a better night's rest tonight. I usually lay on the couch with the headphones in and try to watch something very boring like our politicians, lol.

Kim I like ti nice and quiet and dark. If it's like that I drop off straight away.

Stopped raining now but the ground is still frozen out there and the breeze is very cold.

The garage Robin came to me when I went to feed the hens and all I had was fat sticks in my pocket. Could'nt find a box of mealworms in there and he was quite disgusted with me!! Had to go up the caravan and get a fresh box and put him some out.

Not been on the last few days, head's flared up again. got an appointment to see doctor at hospital next week and my own GP has given me another set of pills.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LIZ !!! Hope it's a good one.

Mr BUMP has been at it again, got out to the loo at 3.15 am closed the bathroom door, reached round for the light cord, and tripped and keept going. Straight through the Shower doors (thet were open) and hit my head on the wall. NO CRACKED TILES :-D :-D :-D Ros wondered what the hell had happened. She got me back to bed, and I sleept the rest of the night.

SORRY MEL, It won't happen again PROMISE.

Fresh selection of Emails sent this morning, hope you all received them.

Ros is waiting for her Dr to phone on his phone surgery, been waiting for over an hour, she's waiting to get her hair washed and have a shower. She's not a happy bunny. But if she moves I know the phone will ring.

They promise more snow today, so won't be going anywhere.

Heaven's Frank, you MUST be careful! I hope you are ok. Thank you for the uploads, as always, they made me chuckle! Ah! Ha! OH reappeared (been to the village) and I now have a lovely bunch of Tulips, and a cake! He was well chuffed with the heater, so all is well!!! wind getting up here and it may snow so not sure if we shall venture out, the weekend looks better so may leave any festivities till then, see how we feel later.

Well it's blimmin cold here. I have fed the wild birds this morning and they are needing it again now. Got a small shot of the long tailed tit thismorning through the kitchen window. It is on video but I was walking along with the camera and its a bit wobbly. To see the tit you have to pause the video just at the right time.



Now then I don't know whats going on here but I received a birthday card today !! Thanks Shirl I shall keep it till 14th Feb. Everyone is so eager ( you don't hear theat word much now do you?) not to miss a birthday we all keep getting congrats too early. It just goes to show how we all want to please one another.

I am sure Liz is enjoying her day and hope it goes off alright. Nice that she got a cake and flowers. <3

Having a bit of a clean up today, daughter and husband are coming over tomorrow, were supposed to come last Saturday but couldn't make it with all the snow, very little left here now and I don't think we are in for anymore, fingers crossed, hope the family make it to you okay Jane, I love family get togethers.

Been shopping this morning just in case anything else arrives in the guise of the white stuff. Our Close is like plate glass. I had a job getting the car back into my lock up. Had to put a bag under the front drive wheels to get it to grip. The wind is like an icy blast today.

Our bin men came, much later than usual but they made it in spite of slipping all over the place - should be made into a TV programme 'Bin Men On Ice'. I expect Jason would still find something to moan about. He seems to start every critisism with 'Well. . . . ' - - -

We looked out the kitchen window this morning only to see the Dark Invader up on the frozen bird bath trying to make his way onto the bird table. I'll have to put the defences back in action, we can't have him stealing our feathered friends feasts, can we?

Mel I have just had the family of long TTs feeding on the coconut.I did get your pic of Robin feeding from your hand.Thank you :-D.I was trying to get my Robin to do the same this morning.He got so close but just wasn't confident enough,and it was too cold to stand there any longer lol

I don't think the snow is too far off now,and the breeze is picking up.So have just fed the birds again for the last time today.I can't believe how much they get through .You would think they would have tummy ache with all the peanuts lol

Maureen I hope your Daughter and OH get there too tomorrow.It is a bit of a worry with what is supposed to be quite a lot of snow tonight.

Liz ,I love Tulips.I always find it strange how they still seem to grow once you put them in a vase !.When I went to Amsterdam I went to the Flower Market and bought 2 huge bunches of Tulips to bring home.They had been wrapped especially for people travelling by air so were all secure and got home just as good as when i bought them.One bunch I gave to my Sister for coming to stay to look after the children and Chester, who was a pup then.She certainly had her hands full :-D.

Frank ,Fitz was here earlier and I read out that email of the teacher calling out the childrens names .........He was in stitches lol.

I have a curry in the oven and it is just being to smell tasty.Not home made sauce ,but 2 jars of Pata**Butter Curry(nice and mild).
I think I will go and give it a stir.

Thank you all so much for your good wishes, they have been very much appreciated. L sent me a card that was nearly as saucy as D.I.L's!! it also made me chuckle! The girls and Ed sent me a spaniel with sun glasses and coloured trainers on each of it's paws!! P wrote it and A and Ed wrote their names numerous kisses which was pretty nice! "I" is miffed as I've had so many cards and he only ever gets 2 or 3!! Told him that it isn't my fault that he hasn't got any friends, he shouldn't be so miserable (only joking!!) We are definitely not going out this evening, it is trying hard to snow and VERY cold. "I" bought a nice piece of fillet, so that with chips and a watercress and orange salad it should be good! (He's cooking!) M has just arrived, I'm so pleased to see him. All in all a very good day!

No more bumps today, was extra careful in the shower. and going to the garage.

Ros has popped to Tesc# to get odds and sods, she's not going out with Martine tomorrow, she's got something on.

They have been to fill the holes today, one BIG lorry with dirt on and four men. Then later another BIG lorry with tarmac, again fouyr men, all to fill two small holes. No wonder the gas bills are high. !!! The lorries have compressed the snow even more now, it's like a sheet of glass out there.

We had LTT in the garden this morning, running around on the snow covered lawn. I have cleared an area where I feed and water the birds.

Just spent over an hour trying to put an item on eBay. Just wouldn't let me load the photo's. All done now, so will sit back and wait for the bids to come in.

My table lamp is starting to flicker, so I suppose the bulbs are ready to blow. I don't think I have any spares.

Liz that sounds a lovely dinner.Just sit back put your feet up ,get 'I' to pour you a glass of your favourite and wait to be waited on :-D :-D.
You say about 'I' only getting a couple of cards when it is his birthday.Chris is the same.I feel sorry sometimes ,and always give him one from Chester just to bump the number up a bit lol.He might get a few more next week being his 60th.But he is a funny old thing.He has taken next week off work and I'm sure it is because he doesn't want a fuss made on his birthday.He hates being in the spotlight.Silly boy lol.

I have a very crunchy shoulder.It's been giving me a bit of bother for a few days.It sounds really grating :-S :-S.Goes up into my neck and down the top part of my arm which feel like lump of lead.I know !! just getting old :-S
