According to the marriage cert Christopher was 21 and Betsey 23.

So Chris would have been born in 1828 and Betsey 1826.

Mel can you have a look at the newspaper index cards and view the original for Christopher Bedford , will it give any info on the fathers??

Afternoon All,

Thanks for confirming that Frank, so they weren't youngsters when they got married. The marriage I found is the right one, but the people of the same name in the 1851 census that me and Mandy found seems to be a coincidence and is wrong! Back to the drawing board for another look now. :-D
