Frank congrats on the birth of the new baby. Hope mum and baby are doing fine and yes we want to know her name as soon as you know it please?
HAVE BEEN UP THE TUNNEL THIS AFTERNOON. POTTED UP SOME MORE STRAWBERRY RUNNERS. blast and sorry about that, must have hit the cap lock.
I have quite a few now and think I may make a bed of them in the tunnel. I love my strawberries but oh won't eat bought ones. He likes them straight off the plant and popped into his mouth.
Oh has put the netted frames back on the koi pond today after having aother go with the new pond vac. Now he is fiddling with the pipes from the filter as they have to be in a different possition when the frame are on the pond.
No I did'nt see that metior last night but I did see a big shooting star a few nights ago but that went from west to east.
Better go ad corn the chickens now.

Evening all, I had the family here yesterday ,also thought i'd have a break from the lap top after my bad head ache !!
Oh lots to catch up with i see , Congratulations Gt Grandad Frank on the new baby ,and have a lovely evening tonight .
What a lovely day its been , sunshine all day, we went to see BIL this afternoon, he is doing fine ,up and walking about and doing the steps today , he might be home early next week .
Mel, we don't have steamed up windows here any more either :-S :-D :-D LOL
I always seem to miss these shooting stars !! i heard about them on the news ,seems they were quite a sight to see !!
I hope the bead fair is indoors tomorrow Ann, looks like its going to be a really wet day!! In the Woma*s Weekly magazine this week there was a nice pattern for a Felted bag to knit ,though i might have a go until i saw that it was going to take 8 100gm balls of pure wool at £8.50 a ball !!! £68 for a knitted handbag !! i don't think so !! Seems a lot of wool for a bag ,but i suppose it's knitted large so it then shrinks to size when you wash it .
Suns still shining .

BRILLIANT news about your BIL Mandy........out of bed and walking and doing steps too! I can't believe it and I bet he can't either. This early progress must have given his spirits a huge boost.........very best wishes to him.
The bead sale is in the Village/Sports Hall with it's own carpark so I shouldn't get too wet! OH is coming too as he wants to go to the Ryt*n Organic place for lunch afterwards on the way back. He will be in the car reading the sunday papers I expect.......hope! lol. I will look out for that pub Jane.
That was a good job to get done and cheaply too William and the chap got more work from your neighbour. Win win as you say!!
Hope Ros isn't like me Frank. I made a necklace to go with a grey top the day I went to the talk by the genetics man. At the last minute I changed my mind and wore another.........how typical of me!!! lol.

I bought that magazine because of that bag pattern Mandy. It's grey with a looped cable effect isn't it. I hadn't realised how much the wool cost though!!!! :-0 I think you can get cheaper on line, especially in hanks. I will need some pure wool for the felted bags we are supposed to be making........haven't seen any at the charity shops yet. Most has lost the paper ring telling you what it is made up of.
Oh what a lovely pic of the girls in their dresses...........they look so pretty, like 3 peas in a pod!!

Steamed up windows :-D :-D.I remember a few steamed up ones in a few cars in the 'old days' :-D ;-).My windows looked steamed up sometimes .....but that is because the seals have gone and all the condensation gets inside the double glazing :-S..Not from activity in 'that department' .Well maybe once in a blue moon lolol ;-)
Oh Mandy ,what a lovely photo of the girls :-D :-D :-D.

Did anyone watch Alex Kingston on W D Y T Y A this week? I thought she was really so ordinary, very likeable. When it all came out about her great grandmother (??) running bawdy houses she was tickled pink (I don't mean that rudely!!!!) I couldn't help remembering when she played the part of Moll Flanders, the nuaghty lady in the TV series of the same name. Also looking for ward to William Roach on the programme.

William I saw it and I thought it was much more interesting than the last two which only went to their fathers and the war years and what they did.
I too was thinking of when she played Moll Flanders. I also like to look them up whilst the program is on if I am still on the pc.

Morning/Evening All
I enjoyed that one William. One of the best ones this series was Annie Lennox.
Mel it is just a dull grey morning here.I think the rain is due to get to us later on.I saw on the weather last night that you were going to get it really bad today :-S
I have a lovely bit of Beef ready to go in the oven, and a Turkey Breast.Hannah doesn't like Beef :-S But what ever is left over from the Turkey will go in the mens rolls in the week.I will probably slice what is left from the beef and pour gravy over it and freeze.
Chester is back from walkies and is pestering for his tablet lol. It's not the pill he is really interested it is the bit of ham I wrap it in :-D

Afternoon everyone,
Cloudy here ,but every now and then it seems to brighten up as if the suns trying to break though.
We've been to the tip again with some more rubbish from the shed , three huge wooden tool boxes made by FIL ,no good keeping them as the hinges had all gone and they were beginning to rot out underneath , full of tools ,lots all rusty !! hubby has found some treasures !! in other words rubbish he wants to keep :-S
Willian i enjoyed HDYTYA this week , looking forward to the next one with William Roach , i read some where that his grandmother owned the land where Alton Towers is now built and that her husband was a bit of a rotten egg!! sounds like it will be a good one this week.
Looking forward to Downton tonight , there's also a new period drama starting on Tuesday called The Paradise ,its about a country girl who starts working in a department store in a victorian city and falls in love with the owner ,it's on BBC1 9 o'clock .
Roast Chicken for us tonight and Lemon Cheese cake .
Where's our Frank today , hope he hasn't got a hangover after all the celebrating yesterday :-S
Racing's on !! a night one, seems funny watching it and its dark !!

The rain has just arrived :-S.Just light at the moment but getting more and more by the minute. Hannah and her friend with little boy decided not to go to the farm and went to Wicksteed Park instead.Fed the birds and had a ride on the little train that goes all around the lake. They did it just before the rain :-D.Hannah goes back to London at 4 this afternoon ,so it is a short sweet visit.
Beef and Turkey smelling just so Yummy.Roast Potatoes and Parsnips roasting away nicely. So just the veg and Yorkshires to do . I was just thinking of Sunday Dinners when I was a girl.It was nearly always Roast Chicken ( I suppose as it was cheaper than joints).Mum did the best roasts ever :-D,and when it was Roast Lamb she made amazing Suet cake.I have never been able to make it like she did.
Frank did you have a nice evening last night?I can't remember if you were going out /staying in or what lol.I know it was a double Birthday celebration and plus a new baby too :-D

Afternoon at LAST.
What a day so far. Ros was making the bed and trod on her dressing gown, ended up full lenght on the floor
. She then decided to put a Crystal Rose (present from Harvey and Family) for her birthday. into the glass display cabinet. As she opened one on the doors (on a tiny ball catch) the centre glass shelf decided to crash down. Hitting everything on the bottom shelf. A lot of very delicate old glass took the full force of the shelf also full of glass dishes, old china cups and saucers. We had to empty everything out, clear all the broken items, hoover the inside of the cabinet and replace all the cleaned and undamaged items. There is about ten items that I can glue back together.
Thats two things, so I said sit down and don't move, I don't want the THIRD ACCIDENT.
We had a great time last night. Conrad picked us up on time. We arrived at the restaurant before Harvey etc. We were sitting having a drink and eating prawn crackers when they arrived ten minutes later. We went for the self service buffet. There were so many started to choose from. There was Soups, spare ribs, chrispy duck, pancakes and the sauce and the other trimmings. They main coures were in two TEN FOOT of trays, Everything from garlic prawns, Beef black bean sauce ,sattay chicken, curry beef and chicken and many more. The vegeatables , noodles, and rices were too many to mention, but we were back and forth till everyone couldn't move.. The waitress then bought out Lewis's Birthday cake. He will be 14 on the 25th. He looks quite embarrassed with everyone around singing "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" He cut his cake and we all had a "SMALL "slice.
Julia, Harvey and Lewis had loads of photo's of the Baby. SOPHIA ROSE . I didn't see a lot of them as I didn't want to see Lara in the BIRTHING POOL. but those I did see were very nice.
When Harvey and Lewis arrived at the Hospital to see the baby and Lara. The nurse asked if Lewis was a brother ,or a son of Lara. Julia sais son, otherwise he wouldn't have been allowed in to the room. Remember that Lara is 26 and Lewis 14. !!!! He looked so proud sitting in the chair with the baby in his arms. Being quite small, the baby seemed to just fit into Harvey's hands. <3 <3 <3
Well it's been raining here most of the day, I am off for a cup of tea.
