Hi to all Jane's friends and especially Mel (as we have met).I just want to say
a big thankyou for all your concerns,and good wishes since my nightmare Knee Replacement Op.I am with Jane for a few days and as always never a dull moment :-D.Off to the Cinema tomorrow with the lovely Fitz :-D.It's been a great change of scene here and time to catch up with my Sister.

Had a nice pork loin tonight, with Mushroom and onion sauce, new pots and fresh cabbage/spring greens.

Have been looking at restaurants in Torquay and surrounding areas, some lovely places, and prices to match !!!! but it will be our only break this year. So enjoy it while we can.

Mandy/Jane, We missed the hail, but had plenty of rain. I must water the greenhouse in the morning, keep forgeting that !!!!

Ros is watching her HOLBY, so I'll look at more eateries in Torquay, and e-bay.

LOL Frank .Janice says she has an appointment next week to get rid of the grey!!......She has indigestion now after my wonderful dinner and is sucking away on antacids :-S :-S :-S Tomorrow she can just bread and water lol
I think we will all be off to bed shortly.I need to be up early in the morning to give Chester a quick walkies and then take my neighbours grandson into town to buy a new charger for his mobile.He is staying in their house on his own as they are away in Portugal and they have his charger with them :-S :-S :-S..But then I need to get home in time to be ready to leave for the cinema by 10.15.Poor lad has no money to buy a charger so I said I would lend him the money.
Just watching the Gt Ormond St.What an amazing programme.William ,your Grandson is a lucky boy to be able to have treatment and follow ups at such a wonderful hospital.

Have picked up some funny things to put in the garden to try and brighten it up.

Having dreadful trouble putting cream DROPS in mochas ears..One he wont stay still and two I caNT SQUEEZE THE BOTTLE VERY WELL....

They dont think of us oldies with our hands..His ears then end up very greasy..Hope everyone is ok.Jane has your hub by caught the trots off a patient..Ihope you dont get it..Frank I hope yours has gone now..

Afternoon All,

Sun one minute then dull here. Second lot of washing drying on the rotary....hopefully. OH fetched the first lot in before he set off to one of his schools and marched in the bedroom waving some items and asking me where I wanted my 'catapults' putting!! Lol. ;-) I have had a dusting and cobwebbing frenzy this morning while OH has been doing his notes. He doesn't trust me with anything on a stick!! :-D :-D While I was tidying I found a 'Gorgeous Wife' badge from an old birthday card, so I've been wearing and flashing it at him! He keeps shaking his head and chuckling.

Our computer has been playing up lately with difficulty connecting to the internet and 'fixes' needing doing so I rang the support people last night and they downloaded and then reloaded Internet explorer. I was pleased they said it was a program fault and that there is nothing wrong with the computer. It is a lot faster navigating now, but the connecting problem was back this morning! I do wish I knew more about computers. If this keeps happening I think I will change to using the Goo*le Chrome browser which is already loaded.

Pat it sounds like you need another pair of hands to hold Mocca while you do his ears. I bet he's a right wriggle bottom and thinks it's all a game. :-S

The poor boy staying nextdoor must be really lost without his mobile Jane! You would have thought they would have given him some money to get himself one after taking his charger with them. I bet he is chuffed you are sorting it out for him.

As well as the brake light going on the car, last night a headlamp bulb went too, so the garage can fix both tomorrow when OH takes the car in. I think they have to get the bumper off for the headlamp one. The whole headlight was new last year too.

I better go and wash some cropped trousers I want to take now. They are new and I was about to pack them and noticed it advised to wash first as the colours may stain other things!!

I posted a lot more this morning, but only a little bit got through.

Evening All
Well what a brilliant film The Artist.We thoroughly enjoyed it.Also enjoyed the KFC too :-D :-D.Now I feel a bit iffy :-S.I hope I don't end up like Chris this morning.He seems ok again now.James said he didn't feel right at work either today so maybe it is a little bug thing.
Janice is going home tomorrow afternoon .It has been great having her here for a few days.
Just heard by email that Rachel (Dubai ) is coming after all next week .I think they will be with me next Wed or Thurs until the Saturday.James will be working night then and so will be sleeping during the day.So things could be a bit difficult with Ethan and his crying :-S :-S.I think if it is dry weather we will have to go out for some some hours during the day.Maybe Wicksteed Park.Nothing is ever straight forward with that girl lol.
I have just ordered a Birthday Present for Ethan as he will be 1 year old on Monday.It is a Nursery Wall Clock (Noah's Ark) with Ethans name on the pendulum.I just hope it arrives in time now.

Ann not more bulbs gone in the car :-S :-SI seem to think there have been bulbs going in that car quite often.Am I right??

Now Janice says she feels a little odd :-S :-S.What a good job I am not cooking a big meal tonight.It is just cold Ham ,Potato Wedges,Peas and button mushrooms......Chris has decided he wants an egg too :-S He must be feeling better.
Nothing is going to stop me getting to my hair appointment .It is desperate for a cut.

Oh what a blubby pair Janice and I have been just now.Watching DIY SOS,with the man with Motor Neurone Disease.Our Dad had that.But we are so glad that we weren't children (like the ones on the programme) when Dad had it.Tears wiped away now :-D
Dinner all done and dusted.I decided I didn't fancy anything......still full of KFC ;-)
Now watching some A&E progamme.Chris has gone to bed in despair lol.
Janices first husband went for a Triple Heart Bypass op today .He has actually had a Quadruple !!!! Sheesh he is only 56!!

Hi it's me I forgot to go on here this morning as I have been helping oh today. Made chilli for tonight as he did'nt go ringing tonight.

I am pleased that Janice enjoyed her few days with Jane and it was so nice to get a message from her. I do hope that things start to move a little quicker for you on the knee op front Janice. Thought are always with you since you have been in this state of health. Hope you get more mobile now soon.

Off for a shower now and hopefully I shall remember to come on here in the morning.

Yes Jane, this car seems to be gobbling light bulbs.....having the new headlamp was supposed to fix it. :-S The garage said 'you're joking' when OH told them that another had gone. I hope you are all less 'iffy' tomorrow.

Mel. at my old house I spent many hours stacking blocks, washing the mixer out and 'tamping'! You should sleep well tonight.

We are out for a BOGOF brekkie at one of the garden centres in the morning, then I'm off to the hairdressers. Then I just need to do the bathroom and the hard floors. My 2 (smallish) cases have things piled on them that I keep remembering I must take. OH will pack his own and only take about quarter of an hour. :-S

Did he get his new bowl? I used to sell those when I had the pet shop. Specially for long eared dogs.

Hope all aches and pains and knees are healing nicely now, and scars. Jane you have'nt said how Fitz is getting on, I take it he is driving now??

I seem to be having trouble this year getting my peas to come up. I sowed a new lot ages ago and only have a few come up!! Perhaps the seed is too old or I have mixed the old and the new packets up. I buy BIG packs in the farmers shop in Holsworthy and I am sure I planted the new ones.

Runners came up alright and they were sown after the peas.

I have also notice that some things in the garden are not as big as they should be. The rhodo on the front lawn is out in flower as usual in May but the clemetis outside the back door has hardly grown at all and is usually up the netting by now. The toms plants I first planted int he tunnel look very cold but the second lot don't look too bad!! What is going on?? Do you think the nights have been too cold this year??

I have just lost all my posting..Im not used to my lap top and knocked a wrong button lol.

Bought my self a nice top from the charity shop yesterday it was from next.

Also picked up an artist set for my daughter and grand daughter which came from WH Smit* for £3.99..I couldnt let that go at that price..Hoas everything you need for water painting..Inside amongst other things are 24 tubes of water colour paint ..each marked up for £ 1.50
