Hi Fiona I hope you feel better soon sorry you had a bump on the head that must have been painful and stressed you out a lot and you had the Gal stones it took my hubby ages to get over his operation and he gets dreadful burbs when he gets stressed out and it left him with a bulge where they cut him near his scar. Your hubby being away wont help.I moan about mine but hate it when he is away take care from Sheila.
Regina can assure you I am aware of the dreadful things you say about animals but my concern still was for the horse whatever you say I am entitled to my opinion. I once stood for hours in the rain at a farm because the sheep were being ill treated pushed into cramped conditions and sent to France . One lady fell under the wheels of a lorry and was killed it made the headlines in the paper. I have seen animals killed I used to take a flask of tea for my brother in law who worked in a slaughter house and it made me sick I stopped going. It is all very cruel and I admire you not eating meet but a lot of people do its a big range your complaining to. Like I say I would much rather not eat anything these days my stomach is easily upset. I ate some beef two weeks ago and since then not bought any meet. but theres ham and so much meat content and I do not believe most people can survive without eating some meet content. But do admire you for your concern of animals .Foxhunting is terrible also. What about killing rabbits .I do love a nice sausage. I eat loads of fish. and prawns. adore blue cheese .well did it upsets me now. That is so funny about the hole in the lawn Mel. My leg is awful still it hurts so much and I have taken so many antibotics it is a wonder I do not rattle. its nice that your glad I am back thank you but I sometimes know I drive you all up the wall. I do myself drive myself mad. worrying about everything
Glad you enjoyed yourself Frank nice to see you back and William. I enjoy your threads. Oh the Titantic everytime I turned on the telly there it was. I wonder if there are any ghosts from the Titantic lurking around I bet they were thinking you should have been on the Titantic it must have been so dreadful I hate water cannot swim and I think I would have died of fright the minute any appeared. Leaving love ones behind to die and we had all accounts from just about every actor going. Ann did not realise you were seing the Titantic when I said it was not much good second time round. Hows the back .
I am looking forward to seing Oliver at the theatre on Thursday marred by my leg I expect.
Frank you sound like me I am depressed do not want to go out and have indigestion most days. The doctor says its old age you get these things I do hate it when they say that. mine is stress from that stupid couple of parents of Mats they keep writing dreadful letters to me about the grandchildren being in America had another one today. I have taken to hiding away a lot.
Pat Genes did the same to me and I had to write and complain . Jane I love you I call you aunty Jane your always so full of reassurance and stuff in spite of your own problems.
Beryl came and there were four crows on the fence huge things kept on flying at Jasper. The daft dog just sat there. Beryl said hey lets play knock the crow off the fence shall we. I thought she was joking next thing she started pelting stones at the poor things. I did giggle funny sense of humour lately. But they were so big and horrible daunting sitting there staring at us. Beryl is still in glory over her win on the horses poor Donnie never got a bean he can get his own horse she said .Guess what I have for tea tonight Seabass it was a present from a nice customer .But think I may not eat anything like Frank .
Shirl Aprils teacher asked how she was and said I do not think April will loose her lovely way of talking she was so refreshing in school because so many of the kiddies have dreadful Brummie accents. I thought well if you say so. Will pass on your love and good wishes to Jessica she was asking me the other day how you all were .I hope everyone feels better soon. thank you Mel.

One way and another, we all seem to be under the weather. Roll on the summer, shorts and bare chests (NOT YOU GIRLS) and get some sun to the body. It always makes me feel better.
Ros went out at 9.15 this morning and didn't get home till 5.00pm. She said there were something like 35 women there, all making quilts for under privilaged children. The material was all supplied as was coffee and tea. The project is totally booked for the next couple of month. They only charge £1.00 towards. the cost of the coffee and tea.
Her sewing machine was bought for her by her mother when she was 15. It's very old !!!! but after a service still works well. Most of the women there had modern computerised machines. Now she talking about a NEW ONE.(.MORE EXPENCE). one of the ladies had her needle work box with her, it was all laid out perfectly. Ros's sits under the drinks cabinet and everything is in a mess. She said to the woman "you put me to shame" !!!!!
Ros has just said a very rude word down the phone. Our little Indian friend. :-0 :-0 :-0 :-0
I am going to try a small amount of pasta this evening, I don't want to start running again.
Glad to see you around William.

Oh Sheila ,when you said you had Seabass for dinner I thought you meant that horse from the Grand National lol I do hope your friend Sophia hasn't hurt herself too badly with her fall, and hope that her G Band works well for her.You are a good friend to her ,helping clear all her mess too.Just be careful you don't make your leg worse by doing too much. I am Aunty Jane to my Nephews and Niece and Grandma Jane to Ethan (in Dubai).Or when Janice's youngest called me when he was little and couldn't pronounce things properly I was SHANTY SHANE.He still calls me that sometimes lolol Must go and check my Saute Potatoes before they go black :-S

Evening everyone,
It's been raining here off and on all day , now we have a little sun !!
Tuesday is bin day for us , when i came home from shopping they had missed emptying our bin ,i gave them a ring and the lady told me they hadn't been to our road as they had trouble with the truck ......funny how all the other bins had been emptied !!! Hopefully they'll come tomorrow , if not the next emptying is a fortnight away!! and its the household bin not the recycling one .
The latest on DIL's father is that he's had the scan today and it's not the hernia ,he has an infection , son has gone to hospital to bring him home .
Glad to see you've made an appointment with the doctor Fiona , its best to get things sorted if your feeling low .
Nice to see you about William, i don't mind if want to give us a kiss.....just wait a minute while i pucker up :-D :-D
Hubby still has his rash , but they have faded a little , i think he really should go and let the doctor have a look ,but he's busy at work , he's just started an extension on a house , he came in tonight in a mind the concrete he'd ordered was late coming and that put him all behind !! I soon told him don't take it out on me !!!
Hope your arm is better Mel, and Ann hows the back today ?

Evening All,
We had a few good showers today, but it is sunny again now. My back is still twingeing and a bit sore. I don't think sitting at the computer is helping it!! Seems okish, then after I sit here for a while it hurts again!!I went to the garden centre and found a Lithodora I had been looking for since I lost one a few years ago. It is a rock plant with a blue flower with a white cross on it. Usually they are just plain blue.
Shirl, my knees have very slowly improved over the past 18 months. I still have trouble with steps/stairs unless they are shallow and can't kneel, but I feel they are much stronger now. I can get in and out of the car easier, and at least now I can step up and down kerbs, walk up and downhill and manage ok on a bit of uneven ground. I take supplements and do exercises for them every day and have started to use the Wii stepper to see if I can get them stronger when bending further. Fingers crossed, there will be more improvement. How is the pain in your face now?
Fiona, did you say a while back that your thyroid levels were borderline, only what you describe is very much the same as I felt when mine were borderline for a couple of years before they were treated? Not everyone gets the same or all the symptoms, but it might be worth asking your doctor if you need checking again. If it is that, I can well understand how tired and weepy you feel.......there are just no reserves for any stress.
Sheila, what a good friend you are to Sophia to go and lend a hand. Just remember not to overdo it yourself though as it won't help your poor leg heal.
Nice to see you are around William, sounds like you have had a rough time of it lately. Don't ever think you will bore us. All kisses gratefully accepted!!!!:-D
Mel, is pond no 2 to be your pond then? It sounds quite a big hole if it is 3 feet deep! :-0
OH's doctor didn't ring him back over the last 3 days, so he rang the surgery today. The receptionist said as soon as he was free she would ask him to ring OH........still didn't ring. :-S

LOL Mandy .I often tell Chris not to take it out on me(when he has had a bad day).I'm used to it now and just ignore him :-D.I used to try and have a discussion ,just to try and get him to talk. But now just let him have his Grumpy /Arsey mood all to himself and by the morning he is usually back to normal after a good nights sleep.I can tell as soon as he walks in the door if it has been a good or bad day.Even Chester can tell lol
Ann I think your poor OH is being messed around big time :-S.Not good enough :-S :-S
The noise of traffic from the A14 is so loud ....not a good sign.It usually means rain :-S :-S
Ann ,talking of knees.Janice has had her electric machine thing collected today. She can't afford to hire it any more .It is a £13,000 machine and she would have to carry on paying £75 a week to hire it.She has been told by the Physio that she needs to still use 2 walking sticks because of the pressure she is using on her 'good ' knee :-S :-S.It is now 19 weeks since she had her op!!!!!! (I think she said 19) Good that your Knees are getting there
:-D :-D
Sheila .What mindless idiots to dump all that sand :-S :-S.Sounds like you have your work cut out to get rid of it.Why do these idiots do these things?????

just popped in to say goodnight,
ANN , the thyroid problem did come to mind, so I will mention it again when I go to see the doctor , I do have an app to see the Hematolgist in July, as my blood test came back saying that the white bloodcells had ever so slightly dropped last time I was there.
anyway I am off to bed with my book , OH in Crew till thursday, Oh by the way MIL is improving day by day, she is at home now and managing to get around a little, still not driving the car or going out to do a full shopping , She phoned today to say she had been to the physiotheripist (sp) and back in a taxi by herself and they were quite happy with her improvement, she has to go back next week to start some exercises, but the hospital will provide transport for her.
night night xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Morning All,
Raining here and it has been in the night.
Nice to see you all posting but it has taken me ges to catch up!!
Sheila I wonder where they get the sand from and think you should bag it and sell it. Or make a nice beach in the back garden!! I could just imagine it as if the sea had washed it all up out the front of the shop. Would'nt the council clear it for you??
I hope your friend did'nt hurt her leg too much with her fall. That is two of you now with a bad leg. Take care of yourself and then your friend.
Fiona hope you get a good result when you go to the docs. Remember to tell him everything.
Hope Jane enjoys her film and then her lunch.
Oh said he would look at poor Henry Hoover soon but wants to get the garage doors finished first. I may struggle up there with my hoover to get the work done up there. All the crocery needs a good wash but I shan't do that until the water is back on up there. Oh turns it off for the winter as it has frozen up up there before and we had a flood when it thawed. How long it had been running I don't know but the whole of the two bedrooms were flooded and half way across the kitchen area.
Frank it sounds like more Expence if Ros wants a new machine. Mum had a couple of new ones and said they were not as good as her old one she had as a teenager. I just have an ordinary one now, electric but it just does a few patterned stiches and a zig zag and a backwards movement and thats enough for me.
Must get on now so may be back later.

Just lost a posting. BAH BAH,
Morning one and all, Very wet and windy here. I should be in Hastings with all that sunshine and sea air !!!
So glad I put myself about on Monday, getting the garden sorted, because if not I would be so frustrated, sitting around knowing it needs doing.
Ros is off to ALD# and Tesc#, wants to know if I want to go. No way. I will get my shower and shave, and relax again in my armchair.
Lost a book, I was reading on my e-book, Can't remember the title or author, so will start another, bit of a blow really, as I was just getting into it.
Mel Whats up with Henry Hoover ??? Is it getting like all of us, Passed it !!!!
Oh what a silly thing I did last Thursday. I decided to tyurn the Boiler off till Sunday. I didn't look what I was doing and switched the heating on continuously, hence when we walk in Sunday afternoon, the house was like a bake house. and had to open all doors and windows to cool it down.
Cherry blossom is beeing blown off the tree, I will have a white lawn if this continues.
No sign of Jenny Wren, other that the little box seems fully than last week. I don't know how she will be able to get in and out :-0 :-0 :-0
Hope you all have a good day.

Frank I did get that message you passed on.
We have blue tits nesting in the electric extractor fan in the kitchen. I have to keep mopping up the bits that fall onto the cooker.
Pat we have about 6 and a half acres the orchard is about a third of an acre and the caravan is at the top about 15 to 20 foot from the wall and behind the box hedge.
Frank that must have wasted a lot of oil or gas or whatever you have for your heating. What a nuisance not noticing that you had turned it on to continuas (sp)???
