Afternoon everyone,

Are we still having trouble :-S

Lovely warm sunshine here , but now have a few black clouds about and i'am sure i now heard some thunder !!

Not much happening here .

When i went to Tesc*'s yesterday they had some unusual Orchids in there ,i wished i had got one now as i went today and they had all gone .
The white were flowers on a thick stalk ,not on a shoot like stem as they usually are ,they were ever so pretty ,i'll have to keep an eye out and see if they have any more in .

Just made a Mince Meat Cake , it's now out of the oven and smelling good !! like making this one as you just bung every thing and mix !!

Frank, had to laugh about the t sh*ts :-D :-D

No posting from Sheila or William lately ,hope they are both ok.

William

William Report 11 Apr 2012 16:11

Mandy, thanks for noticing my absence. We've have both been down with the most awful colds and taking a time to get back to normal. Went shopping out of desperation yesterday - first time out since last Thursday.
Nothing worse than 'dewdrops' all over ones keyboard!
Feeling a bit better today, so maybe up to joining in tomorrow or such.

Hope Sheila and everyone else is OK, especially Frank, who I realise has been having a rough time one way or another lately. also hope I haven't missed any birthdays.

Thanks to the awful colds, we missed going to the service on Easter Sunday and adding our flowers to the cross (ie, photo).

Hope the rest of you are all OK.

Mandy what is a Mince Meat cake.Is it mince (beef) or mince pie( mix)?

Oh William you have had a bit of a rough time lately haven't you :-(.I do hope both of you will soon be fully recovered.

Hi Pat,Hi Pat,Hi Pat,Hi Pat ;-) ;-) Did Mocha's cough finally clear up?

Took Fitz to the surgery and then up the hospital for some blood tests.Dr seems to think it could be the Liver making him feel sick all the time. Not because there is a problem with the liver but the effect on it with him having that tumour on the kidney ,then the removal of the kidney.Hopefully it will settle and it is nothing else nasty.
Another dry day here ,but there were a few black looking clouds .They look like they could be coming back.Fingers crossed no Thunder.I can't be doing with Chester having the screaming abdabs :-S
Must go and get some Meatballs in.Have done absolutely nothing here today.Tomorrow will be the same as I am going to coffee with a friend who moved a few months ago .Will be nice to see her new home. Then in the afternoon it is the hairdressers. The dust continues to get thicker :-S :-S :-S

Oh what a job to get on here.

I have complained to Genes. Has anyone else.

Harvey is coming for Lewis about 6.pm. He said he wanted scramble eggs, so I have done him some. He now has Ros in the kitchen making Welsh Cakes. Whatever they are, I don't know. But smell good. I must get a taste !!!

Rib eyed steak, onions, mushrooms, tomato's baked beans and chips (HOME MADE) I will do that when Harvey has gone home, or he will want to stay to dinner, and I haven't got enough

Had a taste of Welsh Cakes, not that bothered. A bit stoggy for my liking. and not a lot of taste.

Frank ,when I went to the London Meet the other weekend 2 girls from the GR Staff came.We did say that it would be nice if they could let us know when there are problems and to give some explanation. That way at least we would know what the problem is and why it is so difficult to get on here.

Just spoke to Hannah. Her boyfriend has had to go to Ireland for his Grandmothers funeral (tomorrow). It is way out in the sticks somewhere.I think he had a 5 hour bus journey after landing :-S.It is one of those where Grandma is in the open coffin on the Kitchen table and lots of old ladies wailing in the street .He thinks the whole affair tomorrow will be the whole day.
The service is all in Gaelic .

I had Welsh cakes sometime ago when I stayed with my friend in Wales.I didn't really like them much.I can't remember what they tasted like now.

When I came up the lane after dropping Fitz off I nearly ran over the biggest Stoat I have ever seen.I think he must have been after the baby bunnies in the horses field :-S.I missed it by a whisker.

Evening All

We have just had a heavy rain storm mixed with hail stones it's a shame because it's been quite a lovely day too , sun was quite warm and Sofia and I sat at the back door and she had a picnic at her little table, crackers & cheese, apple and a strawberry milk shake,

I am pretty exausted now what a battle it is to get her ready for her dad when he comes to pick her up, tears and screams because she has fun at grans and doesn't want to go home with him . not happy when she knows her mummy is at work and won't be there when she gets home. :-( :-(

Well I'm ready for a cup of tea and a sit down then will maybe go and have a bath to relax.

Hello Everyone
.
Are we still talking about childhood things?

Anyway, I remember going to about 4 maybe five Sunday schools. There were lots of them in my area, all at different times. My initial reason for going was to get free sweets, then I got to like the stories and went just for them. It wasn't 'religion' to me, just stories.

No sign of thunder here at all. Been dry all day.

We had the two deer out the back again tonight and I may have got a picture this time. I will download the camera and see. Also took some of Robby the other day and hav'nt seen those yet.

He has had me out there since I have been home asking for his live mealworms. She has been coming too so they have definately hatched but I don't know how many they have yet. Every time I look in the shed she is sitting on them and peering at me with her little beady black eyes. May try and get a pic of her when oh is out!! He tells me off

Hi Susan.......Arrrggghhhh! Sunday School. The first one I remember going to was when I was maybe 6/7yrs old .My Sister would have been about 3.Mum ,Dad and us two would start off in the church ,then part way through all the little children would be called through to Sunday School.I was in charge of looking after my Sister. She was a blooming nightmare and would always escape the Sunday School Room and be found hammering on the door that led back into the Church ,shouting for Mum and Dad. :-S :-S.How embarrassing for me (big sis)lol. My sister can't remember her bad behaviour ,but I do remind her of it every now and then :-D :-D :-D

Mornin Girls and Boys,

We had a lovely start to the day with sunshine. I had left the washing out as it did'nt go out till late. Just now it fell out the sky like cats and dogs. Washing is still hanging there all wet again now.

My hand aches today as if I have been pulling on things. I did hurt my left thumb trying to squeeze the last of my Yardleys Lavender shower gel out of it's container the night before last. That shot a pain right between thumb and index finger first joint.
