Interestingly John Tuck 1800 Norfolk is in London on the 1851 census a Cattleman at Smithfields.
He is staying at a victuallers Lewis Thompson and there are loads of cattlemen staying there. It must have been a big cattle sale in the spring.

Jane, the Kings Speech was fantastic, Colin Firth was really good, I hope you enjoyed it.
Have just been over to the Chapel of Rest today to put my signiture on mums grave details, or I won't be able to put dad ashes to rest in her grave. The driver who drove us to dad's funeral asked me how I was getting home and when I said the bus he said I'll take you home we are not busy today, so how about that for service.!!!! He drove me right to the door.

Bored now!!
Where is our Frank I hope he is alright. Not on one of his downers again I hope.
My dad used to sing a song and the words have been on my mind today. Found myself singing it as I went to do the chickens.
Over the mountains, Over the sea, Thats where my heart is longing to be, Please let the light that shines on me, Shine on the one I love.

Hi Everyone
Looks like I have missed a busy day on the research front. I have actually done some dusting today. As you get to know me you will reolise that this is far down my list of priorites and I always feel virtuous afterwards as goodness knows when it might happen again. Spent the afternoon in the panto box office selling lots of tickets. Whilst in town I bought the new copy of Family History and it features a new web site for the North East, www.northeasthistoryhub.co.uk so must play after tea.Love the name Mahershalalhashbaz and wonder if anyone else shares the name?
