Looks like he could do with a few more Zumba classes Pat ....lol. Turn the key board upside down and give it a good bash, that usually gets rid of crumbs etc. I tried hoovering it once but the keys were getting sucked up the hoover.
Been out and got all the shopping so I don't need to go out now until Monday evening, will stay in and keep warm.
Perhaps you will get more activity on the camera come the spring Mel.

Been out to Holsworthy and stocked up on chicken food incase we get snow. We only had a few flakes this morning and nothin g since. I was hoping for a lot as we have a PCC meeting tomorrow and I don't won't to go. It is only down the road a bit.
Cold chicken and potato crunches and peas for us tonight nice and easy and tasty too. I always think cold chicken has more flavour than when it is hot.
I bought a couple of lemon doughnuts things, the name escapes me at the mo. You know the really naughty ones, sort of twisted...... from Wai***ss they were lovely and we had them when I got back.
Yum yum ones, just remembered. They had a lovely lemony filling but cost me 82p each.......worth it though. :-D :-D :-D

Evening everyone ,
Another freezing day here ,not much in the way of a thaw although we did have a little sun shine. Went to Morri*on's to stock up in case we get some more snow the car park was in a state !! Hubby had a job to push the trolley ,it was good that he came as i would never have pushed it in the snow. Called into sons for a coffee ,Jake is still unwell ,we had to take DIL with Jake to see the doctor this afternoon as son had a flat battery on his car !! DIL managed to get an appointment for him and he now has some Penicillin to take so hope that will help him .
Pat i've had crumbs under the keys too, and a couple of weeks ago i had a problem with the shift and question mark keys i had a little poke with a knife as i could see some thing shiny .....it was a tiny staple in there !! No idea what a Whoo Whoo is LOL
Oh Frank......how much snow have you had now ? hope it doesn't spoil your travel plans for tomorrow ,you might get there and then get snowed in!!
Oh Mel we love Yum Yums :-D

Mel it looks like you could get a lot of snow tomorrow. At least the Chickens will have plenty of grub now....I love a Yum Yum.They kind of melt in your mouth . Pat I don't think I eat over my pooter. If I do it isn't very often.I might have a drink but am always worried I will knock it over the keyboard :-S.Love your Zumba dancing cat :-D
Well after some lunch at Fitz and clearing out some of his Mothers old toiletries face creams and goodness knows what stuff in her bathroom cupboards.Straight into a big bin liner. Then shoes ,scarves, for the local Hospice Shop we then went off to see the film. Frank I did enjoy it after settling in to it.I did wonder at first if it was my kind of thing. It is a very clever film and I'm glad I have seen it,but not sure I would see it again. There were only 9 people there, and one daft couple searching for their seats thought we were in theirs. We weren't as it happens but I did point out they had the choice of all the empty seats lol. There was no sound either at first so muggins here had to go and let someone know.
William what a sunrise that was this morning :-D :-D.I know I have often rushed off to get my camera but by the time I got it the sky had changed(so quickly)
Frank have you actually got snow now? There were a few tiny flakes when I came out from the cinema but nothing yet. I hope all elderly people living alone will have someone to keep an eye on them, and that all animals out in the dreadful weather will be safe. Meatballs and Spaghetti for us tonight.
Anyone watching Trevor Macdonald this evening with the 'Lifers'?

Frank I hope you get to Rutland tomorrow. If not you will be able to have a feast at home with all that food. Mandy our Car Park at Tes** has been very good ice wise. They seem to have managed to keep most of it clear.I won't be out tomorrow if if it snows.Just around the garden a few times with Chester and to feed the birds. Poor Jake .I must have missed what is wrong with him.Is it throat?I hope he will feel well enough to play in the snow :-D
We have a lovely herd of cattle in the field down the lane.I don't know if they are male or female. But they have curly coats and thick heads and short legs :-D :-D.They were all huddled close this afternoon, some lying down in the snow. They must have had very cold behinds :-S

Evening All,
Snowing here now for the last hour, the car is covered, so I'd better be up early to clean it all off in the morning before I go to class. (OH might get up with me and help do it ;-)).
Those crumbs are a nuisance in the keyboard aren't they. I do the tipping upside down too and run the hoover soft upholstery brush attachment across it sometimes. Pat I had to chuckle at your typing without 'Cs' . Mind you, since OH has been using the PC more, the A and N have nearly worn off this one!
More sorting of the food cupboards this morning. I hope I don't end up with more food in the 'just past it's date' box in the conservatory than in the cupboards!! lol. I want to get all these jobs done before Spring.
We went to see Les Mis today at the earliest showing. There was just a quiet couple in front of us and no one else within 50 feet so we thought great as we got nice and comfy! As soon as the film started a couple trotted in with a bucket size tub of popcorn............all that space.......but they sat right behind us. After a few minutes the noise started right next to our ears. All the rattling in the tub sounded like someone trying to find a particular coloured button in a button tin!!!! Then the open mouthed crushing noises as they ate...... :-S :-| I tried pulling my scarf up at the sides to block the noise out, but it was no good. After about half an hour I could stand it no more as I couldn't follow the film with all that going on, it was annoying OH as well by then too so we got up and moved a good way across the row. I thought just let the staff come and tell us we shouldn't move seats! Why on earth do they think popcorn and sweet wrappers are a good idea in a cinema. The film itself was excellent and there was clapping at the end.........is it a new trend I wonder.
OH has gone to a meeting to do with his footie club.....things are not looking good!! :-(

Frank, I'm sure you will, but keep a close eye on the forecast, it can be bad in Rutland, especially if it starts to form drifts.
Poor old Jake must be fed up with the trots Mandy, hope he soon feels better. I bet he will want to be out playing in the snow as soon as he does!!
I've never had a Yum Yum......sound very nice. :-)

You are silly girls, eating over the keyboard, I have never done it. I'M A GOOD BOY !!!! If I have a beer, it sits on the table, and I have to turn to the side to drink it. I'M A GOOD BOY !!!
The snow started with a slight sprinkle, then about 6.00 pm we had a good covering about one inch. There are some flakes fluttering around, I suppose waiting for the rest to come.
Provided it's not too bad in the morning we will set off, if the weather turns bad, we will have to stay up in Rutland. I will leave the heating to come on morning and evening, so there shouldn't be any trouble.
I spent two and a half hours in the kitchen this afternoon. I prepared and cooked the mince for pie, boiled potato's mashed, and covered, then grated cheese all over. I have put a divider in the dish, as one end I have put chillies for Conrad and Jan. I then prepared dinner for tonight. Liver,Onions, Peas, and mash. Liver wasn't upto usual Morriso## standard, a bit tasteless, Will have to have WORDS. !!!!
Ros went into town this afternoon to have her nails done. She hasn't had them done since mid December, and they were looking tatty. She twisted her knee walking to the shop. She has now put an elastic knee support on, she looks a bit like HOPPALONG CASSIDY. but I wouldn't say that to her. She wqould thump me :-D :-D :-D
Ann, I would have told that couple to pick another seat. If and very rarely I go to the Cinema, I try to make sure I am not near anyone with buckets and gallons of drink, anyone would think they are there for a couple of weeks, and had to store up on food and drink. Plus after paying for your tickets, It's a wonder they can afford them !!! Moan OVER..
Glad you enjoyed PI Jane, There wasn't many watching it then. !! I would think they had more sense and stayed at home in the warm ;-) ;-) ;-)
I have recorded Trevor McDonald we will watch that after Silent Witness. (I hope it's better than last week. (MOAN AGAIN) It must be the Testesterone. taking effect :-0 :-0 :-0 :-0
I played cards throughout the soaps, I get to the stage where I just can't watch all the "DRAMA" Here I go again.
William, I didn't see the sunrise, but we had a great sun set last night. Did you see on the evening news about the bungalow that caught fire from the sun rays reflexing in the mirror. Forunately the people were home, and not a lot of damage done. Is there something we should learn from that. That means all of us , not just the old codgers !!!!
Might pop in before Bed, see what you have been upto. Behave yourselves. !!

That happened to my od keyboard and oh got really cross because he could'nt see what keys were what. It did'nt make any difference to me as I sort of touch type. The one he bought me last Christmas has the letters up in the top left hand of the little keys so you don't touch them so much. I don't lik ethe flat keyboards with the flat keys like on a lap top.
Off now to watch Father Brown on the replay vision box.
I bet we don't get the snow forecast for tomorrow morning as they had a temp. of 6 down here.

Hello all, alive just. It is like hell on earth here today 46.7 degrees here where I am, a lot cooler now. The whole place is on fire and a death this afternoon; can't believe it's only one with what's been happening. Air con. struggled all day and was still 32 in the house. It shut down for a while and we also lost digital signals to all the tv stations. They are back on track now apart from one.
Thanks for your continuing photos which I enjoy. Love seeing pics of the snow.
We are having a party tomorrow night for Keith's 60th which was last Friday. Should be a respectable 25 tomorrow so we can get organised. Expecting about 40 folk.
Do take care everyone and if you can spare a prayer for those in the fires, I'm sure they would appreciate it. 7.42 pm AEST

Morning Mel,
It's nice to know you are thinking of me. Have been watching the bush at the back of the house for fire bugs. We have had it go up in the past over 4 days. The rotten little devils. Will just have to keep vigilant until we get through this heat.
Looking back on the threads and so happy to see Fiona is back and congratulations to her daughter on the arrival of the new baby. I do remember she had a rotten time with her morning sickness, but a lovely little bundle at the end to love. :-)
Mel I'm confused - is that animal stoat or ermine? Is he still around? I thought he/she was lovely.
Trying to help a friend with his Scottish ancestors. It's doing my head in so I will have a break. So many children with all the same names born at the same time, lol.
Not much on television at the moment; I'm hanging out for Downton Abbey to return. 8.55 pm AEST
