Mel I think it disgraceful that you have to push and queery insurance people about claims..especially when you are honest and not puliing a fast one.The automated spiel about making fraudulent claims and how your voice can tell if you are telling porkies is quite scary :-S
We could have actually claimed for a few bits and bobs in the garage but didn't.

It feels like Siberia here tonight (not that I have ever been there lol).Friday looks like it might be quite grim snow wise :-D.We are keeping heating on all the time now.The thought of burst pipes and LEAKS here are a No No.Not taking any chances :-D
Better safe than sorry....Plus we don't want to make any more claims.I wonder how much our excess will go up :-| :-|

Frank, perish the thought (that's a funny saying as well) of you slaloming down to the canal path on your btm! Glad you decided to stay in. I didn't bother going out in the end, finished off OH's trousers and cleaned out 1 cupboard shelf in the kitchen. OMG the out of date stuff! :-0 I put the stuff that was only just out of date in a cardboard box in the conservatory. I said to OH we will use something out of that for our meals now till they are used up.

I'm glad I don't eat burgers Maureen! lol. I hope they don't find any horsemeat in other minced meat as I eat a bit of lamb mince occasionally. I don't object to the idea of eating horsemeat, just like horses too much to want to eat them. I hardly ever have sausages.......!

Freezing out there again with a little fog ,every where is glistening and it looks so light out there with all the snow .

Jane ,the photo of the Crem looked really gloomy with the fog , they always seem cold places this time of the year .

Shirl Horse meat (or DNA of Horse) has been found in some supermarket Beefburgers :-S :-S..So a big investigation now going on as to where 'horse has come from.
But in France Horse Meat will be on most Menus :-D :-D.Just the Norm there.It's the fact that 'Horse' should not be in any of these Burgers.

Chris is being annoying tonight,so I have decided I'm not talking :-D..The silent treatment I think.Better that than to have arguments.

Tomorrow I am going to see Life of Pi with Fitz.I hope I can drive down the lane ok to his place.£11.25 for a ticket !!..I think it's shocking :-|..Frank I see Ros and Lewis were not impressed with the film.Hannah said she enjoyed it .So I wait and see what I think of it.

I have just fed the birds.The little Robin was waiting on his usual branch :-D and as I was putting out the seed I heard a right rustling in the hedge,and it was a Moorhen trying to get through the middle lol.I think it is the same one that I see around now and again.
Now I need to clear the fire and get that ready for later.Off to Fitz's at 12 for a bit of lunch before the cinema.I know I will get the giggles wearing those 3D glasses.I find them most uncomfortable too :-S

Mucky day here today, bit of sleet coming down as I look out the window. I must feed the birds. Oh bought me a sack of wild bird seed and peanuts and black sunflower so I am well stocked up with seed etc.

It is starting to snow I think!!!!!

All showered and shaved early today. Got out at 4.06 am then off to nod till 8.00 am. Crumpets and my mate for breakfast.

Ros bought a new mop from QVC it turnedup this morning the kitchen and bathroom floors all clean now. The other mops (THREE) will go in the bin. SHE SAYS !! we will see. lol lol.

Blackbirds was looking in the window this morning saying "Well where's the food and water" He sits on the top branch of the hedge, and protects his patch, you have to smile the was he chases the other birds away. When Ros put down fresh water, he drank as though it was going out of fashion !!!

Tried bleeding the kitchen radiator this morning, but the bleed nipple is only got at with my right hand, and can I do it, no Bloo## way. Also the water pressure is down, checked with neighbour and his is the same. TROUBLE somewhere I expect.

Did you see "AFRICA" last night. That cameraman who walked 13 miles a day and lost six stone, trying to film the Chimp. Dedication or what. I don't think I ever get bored with D.As films.

We are going (weather permitting) to Conrads for the weekend. When I spoke to him yesterdat he said "DAD" can you make one of your shepherd' pies. you make them better than me. That will be Friday evening tea/dinner. I will do a load of cabbage and carrots to go with it !!! Good old Dad. I also have a large Rib of beef, I will take that for Sunday lunch. He can supple the veg.

Ros's friend Martine got us a try of fresh eggs last weekend. 30 eggs for £3.00 nice big brown ones. I will take some to Conrad, we will never eat that many, and can always get more.

Pru has been down for eggs as I had'nt taken any up the gate. I had them ready so she bought some of those. Only had two this morning so far. Poor girls have such wet feet and they don't lay much when their feet are wet.

Have to download my camera which has been out all day yesterday and last night. See if I have caught anything, bet it will jus tbe the mouse and possibly next doors cat which must be getting fed up with not finding any food by now.

Forgot to say about Mandy's snow!! It looks lovely Mandy and I see there is no man on the church roof now!! :-D

Absolutely nothing on the camera worth keeping. Very disappointed. Just a few snow flakes coming down, the back of Robby and one of the dead chicks oh put out there moved so it took a video of that.

Afternoon all.
Thank you for the photos Mandy..you do take some good shots..We had snow Monday which then was mostley gone by tuesday.We have more heading our way from tomorrow for the next two days,,,The sky looks full now so mays ome earlier..Mocha has been for a brisk walk around the block..I do like to get some fresh air.


I must have some crumbs under some of my keys on here..kept missing some letters off the words lol..But who doesnt eat while on here lol
