Frank Report 8 Oct 2012 15:38

Have just spent a hour down memory lane. BEEN ROUND THE WORLD on a film show. I didn't realise just how many photo's I took. I would think it was close to 600. and I've still got Ros's photo's to look through.

Weather hasn't improved at all today. still that horrible wet mizzle.

Heating has just come on, so the temp.is dropping.

Pork Loin, for dinner tonight. Roasts, Runners, Brussels Peas and carrots.
Ros wants to do a leek pie tomorrow. An Earls Barton dish. I think I have mentioned it before. !!!

I must have been a good boy as I haven't had any EXTRA LESSONS today. :-D :-D :-D

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Frank you have been a good boy. you have entered Christopher on your tree. I have been trying to get you to do that for a couple of days thats why I did'nt set you any homework today. I house point for that.

Now go back to Horace and get his details up and add Mother Betsey Farmer 1826 Whitechapel, Middlesex.

I have been shopping :-( :-( :-( they have changed everything round in Mo**isons again and I could'nt find a bl**dy thing. Whereas the beers and wines were right up the end, now they are at the front!! Where the oxo cubes and things like that were about half way in one of the isles they are now at the end where the beer used to be. It is absolutely ludicous and the prices are up. Last week their little posk, pickle and bacon pies were 30p each this week they are 35p each. Thats a lot on such a small item and thats the only one I noticed so how many other things have gone up 5p???? I suppose it is to pay for all the silly new shelveing and things they are having put in.

I think I want to leave home................Just found a wet patch in the corner of the garage.Right where we have just got the all clear :-0 :-0 :-0.I am hoping it could just be the radiator in the kitchen that may have a leak and seeping through there. We have been fiddling with the thermostat on it ,so I don't know.
I have rung the gas peeps and someone will come on Wednesday Morning sometime to have a look.I have to admit I actually had a few tears :-(.I suppose this is the best time if it is the radiator) but `I don't think I could bare it if it something major. It can't be water pipes as they were all capped off under the kitchen floor.
AND it is blooming raining now.

Mandy I love the fart*** poem :-D :-D.It is funny how Far*ing makes people laugh lol

Jane

Jane Report 8 Oct 2012 18:01

Mel they have just moved everything around in my Tes** too :-S.There were a lot of confused looking people there yesterday lol.Including me.

Just noticed the radiator in the kitchen is wobbly. I wonder if when the tiles and skirting boards came off it loosened things
:-S
Decided to do Pasta tonight,I have some Mushrooms and Pancetta cubes to go in the sauce. It will make a change from all the meaty meals we have had lately.Plus less work :-D

Frank we had Roast Pork Loin yesterday, just like you tonight. :-D
Tomorrow I'm doing my Normandy pork.I bet someone will say "Oh we had Pork on Sunday" :-|..My answer will be "well tough, you have Pork again" :-D :-D Like it or lump it.

Oh heck Jane, i'am not surprised your in tears just when you thought you were getting dried out too.

What about laying a piece of kitchen roll under the radiator and see if it gets wet ,and if you think it might be the thermostat try wrapping a piece of kitchen roll round that too ,at least you'd see if there's any water coming out.

I had a good giggle reading the fa*t thread , seems to be a common word used these days ,wouldn't have even thought of saying that when i was younger even the word trump was a naughty word :-D and i would have been told off for saying it .

I think it's nice some times to have a meat free day , although when i do hubby says .....no meat ??

Mel Fairy Godmother Report 8 Oct 2012 18:50

Oooo Jae not another one I hope. Do as Mandy surgested and try the bit round the join on the rad first.

We have lasagne tonight a bought one ready made so I only have to put it in the micro for 12 mins. I have done him a chesse jacket and I will have salad with mine no tayto or teddy as we would say down here.
I shan't do garlic bread or I will want that too................

Been mizzly here all day but it was so warm with it.

Jane

Jane Report 8 Oct 2012 18:57

Mandy it is not wet around the actual radiator.I think it might be from a pipe or joint under the floor :-S :-S :-S.It is on the wall that backs onto the garage wall ,and it is the corner in the garage where the wet is.I can just see the blo**y concrete floor being dug up now.I think I might have a glass of wine and pour one ready for Chris for when he gets in.I can just picture his face when I tell him and show him the patch :-S

Chris isn't bothered about having too much meat but he does need his vegetables.
Not sure that he will be having any tonight though lol.Maybe a lettuce leaf and tomatoes and cucumber :-D :-D

Jane

Jane Report 8 Oct 2012 19:08

Mel Fairy Godmother

Mel Fairy Godmother Report 8 Oct 2012 20:20

Just got back from Carmel's evening hospital clinic appointment. Amazing what happens when you see the right specialist. Six months going from doctor or another, the dentists twice but tonight (arranged by our dentist) we saw the Maxillo facial consultant. She has to have a biopsy on her tongue which sounds awful, but if it sorts out the problem she'll be happy with the result. She has got more than used to injections over the past 15/16 years.

To round off, I can only say that the fish & chips we got on the way back were AWFUL!

Jane

Jane Report 8 Oct 2012 21:26

Mel ,It is definitely not condensation.I wish it was.
William ,sorry about your awful `Fish and Chips'........
I hope Carmel's biopsy will be soon and not too painful for her and that they get to the bottom of the trouble.

I just had a call from Janice .Baby William's Mummy(Jo) has been taken in to hospital today.Something going on with the Liver :-S.William is with Jo's Sister tonight. What will happen tomorrow I'm not sure.I am waiting for Janice to ring me back as she had another call coming in.I hate to be pessimistic but I wonder if this is the beginning now of Jo going downhill with her illness. She has the most aggressive type of Cancer :-( :-(

Frank Report 8 Oct 2012 21:40

Problems all round tonight. !!! Jane that must be worrying for you. Why don't you cover everything up, and SELL the house <3 <3 You could allways move into Mels caravan. !!!

Will, There is nothing worse than looking forward to something, anmd it turns out the "PITS" I suppose it was to late to take it back. I would make a point of mentioning it when next in the area. Why should you pay good money for poor quality.

Would you Adam and Eve it While preparing dinner this afternoon, I decided to prepare the Leek Pie filling . When it was all cooked I transfered it to the oven dish and put in the little chicken spout, only for Ros to COMPLAIN. that I don't ;let her in her own kitchen. :-0 :-0. THAT'S IT. she can do dinners for the rest of the week, while I sit on my Bum and read a book or watch tele. MOAN OVER.

The girls, Ros, Jan and Julia would like to go to Milton Keynes Theatre. tgo see Phantom of the Operta. The better tickets are £48.50 each and that weekday evenings. Up in the gods it would be £18.50 each. I wonder where the will sit, if I pay for the tickets.

Mel, I will go and sort out Betsey in a Mo.

It's turned warmer this evening, I must go and turn the heating off, I am sweating my B###s off here. It's OFF.

Would you believe that my LAZY neighbour has still got his empty green bin and paper box sitting in the middle of his lawn. and an umbrella in the flower bed. That will be gone if the wind gets up. !!!

Off to do my lesson.

Good night all, sleerp tight.

Jane

Jane Report 8 Oct 2012 21:59

Now that is an idea Frank.Although Mel is a ta too far away.We could always move into Fitz's Mothers Quarters as that is empty :-D.Just a short walk down the lane.
So you will take your Chef's hat off then for the week :-D :-D

Chris has gone to bed with a face like I don't know what.(obviously fretting about the latest wet :-S).I think I will stay up long enough to make sure he is well away in the land of nod :-D
My last job now is just to let Chester out and then I will be off to read my latest Kindle Book.It is called 'The Illegal Gardener' and is very good :-D
See you all in the morning xx

Just before New Tricks got underway I popped outside to get the ciggy tips out the car and went down the two steps off the patio and had my torch on luckily as just as I was about to step off the bottom step there was the HEDGEHOG. I very nearly trod on it and just about managed to miss it. This one was quite a size. bigger than my size three foot. Went to the car and when I came back it was gone and no sign of it at all.

Night night all see you in the morning.

William Report 9 Oct 2012 09:03

Frank, it was just s*ds law! Time was getting on and that chippy was just on our way home. If we'd gone to the one we prefer we would have had to pass our turning and double back. My thoughts were that they didn't open on a Monday evening so we wouldn't have had any supper. We'll do what we always do, vote with our feet and not go back there again.

Otherwise, a nice sunny day here, waiting for Carmel to rouse up after a bad night and see what the day holds.

Morning William and all and Evening Kim
I think I have the same weather as you this morning William. It is smashing.I have just got the big rubber bucket with bag of compost and trowel ready to clear old tomato plants and put in the Pansies and tiddly ones.

Chester is wanting attention. He is sat beside me on the settee and his head is hanging right over the keyboard :-S,and each time I give him a rub he malts.I keep having to blow the hair off the laptop.
I think I will have some Toast and Marmit* and a big mug of tea now before I get cracking :-D
