Not a very nice morning here overcast but mild.

Had a good laugh this morning. We have loads of DOVES round our way. Two have decided to nest in the top of the "BLISWORTH LIGHTHOUSE" our pine tree with nearly all the branches off. They are picking twigs from around the base of the tree and going up to the top. I said to Ros. Look we have an OSPRAY building it's nest in our tree. She had to go and look, didn't she :-S :-S :-S. But with the shape of the tree, that's just like the nests on RUTLAND WATER.

Will also had a "RED KITE" gliding around the sky above the bungalow. Went to get my field glass's but it had pushed off. Will try to see it better next time.

Oh, I see that William has a new WIFE MARCEL how do you cope with two ????

The lad who was voted off DOI last night was on This Morning, Ros said he dropped his trousers to show all the bruises he received doing the FROG LIFT. Didn't see it, so can't comment.

Ros's Large starter kit arrived this morning, she's over the moon with everything she has got. She also has a mould for putting the bracelets and necklaces it to get the right shape with the beads, Ann will know what that is no doubt. Loads move stuff on it's way via e-bay. She will be a busy little bee. <3 <3 <3 Then I can sit back and enjoy my T.V. programmes while she making money lol lol

Been busy helping OH with the porch again, we now have all electric done, 1 floor cupboard in ,a counter top on, and today OH is plumbing in Washing machine and hopefully another floor cupboard,

Liver and onions, mashed Potato and peas, for tonight. Nice and easy and we both like it.

Just got back from a lovely weekend with daughter and family in Bedford. Have to get used to my boring old salads again after two days of very good cooking. A very tasty fish lasagne on Saturday and roast pork with all the trimmings yesterday.

A very happy birthday to Carmel, the cake looked good enough to eat William .....

We went to see The Most Exotic Marigold Hotel yesterday Ann, I thoroughly enjoyed it, a lot of brilliant actors, a nice gentle, funny film. The person who played the owner/manager was the star of Slumdog Millionaire.

Ann, you mentioned Midi Coats and Mini Skirts .Somewhere I have a photo of me when I was 18 wearing just that ,plus knee length suede boots.I had forgotten I actually had quite good legs then .All gone downhill since then I'm sorry to say :-S......memories ahhhh!.I will have to see if I can dig that one out.

Well the blockage is all clear now ,ever since the old peoples complex was built next door to us we''ve had Loo trouble, hubby rodded our manhole but it was all clear , the blockage was in their manhole , they had to have Dyn* rod out to clear it !!
The old people put all sorts down their loo's !!

MANDY,I had all the blockages I could want for, a few years back. Our new neighbours, when their son was small,she would insist on putting all the baby wipes etc down the toilet. Added to that he was doing a lot of plastering and was washing out his bucket and pouring it down the toilet !!!! I had a set of drain canes, and they got so much use, you wouldn't believe. I had to have strong words with them over it. Added to the fact we had never had a problem till they moved in. I am pleased to say we have had no trouble with the "NEW BABY"

Horrible evening here, I had to go down to the shed a little earlier, and it's peeing of rain. It looks settled in for the evening.

Jane , the radiator is on the wall but not connected yet, so there's no heat in the back porch, OH finished under the floor boards putting the pipes in for the washing machine, thankgoodness, he really must get back to cycling it was a real struggle to get in and out of the hole, too much of an expanding waist ;-) :-)
Hopefully the washing machine will be connected as I now have a dirty boiler suit to wash,

O yes nearly forgot to mention OH has a beauty of a bump on his head where he bumped it coming out of the hole, no hair anymore on top now he he :-D

Raining here too now Frank,but it will just be a dribble really.We need weeks of good rain don't we ?I dread to think what the summer might be like if we get the hosepipe ban.

I would like to see that film Maureen.I will ask Chris if he wants to go .If not I will see if Fitz will.But knowing him he will have already seen it.He is a real Film Buff(is that he right expression)?

Not you as well Mandy! The new plunger we got this morning is a stronger one than the old one. Guess who ended up doing the plunging!!!!!! :-( :-( OH had a short go........then disappeared like they do!!! :-S :-S :-S I really thought we were going to have to get someone in this time as I was red in the face, out of breath, sweltering and had got the start of a blister from the pole before there was any success, but touch wood, it seems ok again now. lol I hope the shower leak is a simple job Jane......at least those drips are better than the other ones!!

As if my car service didn't cost enough this morning, they said I needed 2 new tyres as well!!! MORE EXPENSE!! Then they added I will need new brake discs all round next time. :-S

Off I went to the tyre place next and got them to double check and they showed me on their gauge that I actually needed all 4 replacing!! :-0 :-0 It seems all the road humps around here haven't helped, causing scrubbing on the insides, yet I go over them so slowly OH grumbles........all in all I forked out over £600 for the car today!! OH said you will have a smart little 'cadbury au lait'. I said the cabriolet bit wasn't the problem!! lol

Well, I have finished sorting through ALL my clothes now and OH did some of his today, so the car boot is packed with bags again. :-D :-D It is nice to have a good clearout from time to time.

Frank, it sounds like Ros is itching to go now!! I know what you mean about the thing for placing/spacing beads. I haven't got one of those yet. I can imagine there will be lots of little packets dropping through your letterbox!! When will she be starting the patchwork quilt class?

Raining here now ,well drizzle really , but what we need is a good steady rain all night and all day .
