Cleaned all tha chickens out today.

Got the pics Pat and you look lovely and brown.

Pork chops for dinner with chard and mustard mash and home made apple sauce. Nice and easy as Downton is on.

Had coffee in the garage today while oh was making a new switch for the big mower, Clarissa. It has been quite warm here and still.

LOL Ann, we were on holiday once with BIL and he was laying on the sun bed , he looked up to say some thing to us and we realised one of the lens had fallen out of his sun glasses.... we never said any thing and it was ages before he realised it had fallen out ....it layed on his chest !! :-D :-D :-D

Ann,i don't think i would have put up with that noise till that time of the morning , that's just not on is it !!

My did I have a chuckle over the glass's. I can imagine that you can get used to being without one lens. I sometimes take my glass's off, and if I concentrate on the T.V. I can see it quite well.

No news from the NEWS Hounds down the road, I take it he is comfortable, if anything untowards had happened, I am sure we would have heard. Ros will find out tomorrow as she is at a meeting at 10.30 with people who know them.

My programme is on again, when does this lot get of on Sat/Sun nights ???

Yes Jane my operation is this Wednesday, to be at the hospital by 7.00am and hope to be going down to theatre about 8 or just after, will be glad when it's all over and I am back to normal. still have to attend the pre- op clinic tomorrow night though,

I managed to get Sofia dressed in her cat outfit and have sent you ladies a few photo's, if I have missed anyone out ,please let me know, unfortunatly I don't have some of your e-mail addresses I think.

No Frank.It may be me out there tonight lol.I am feeling a bit out of sorts tonight,just all weak and wabbit.

Glad you got the photo's ladies, yes Sofia is becoming a little person now, chatting away in 2 lanuages, still difficult to understand at times, I sometimes don't know if what she says is baby talk or italian, lol :-D

I phoned the consultant's number this morning spoke to his secretary,OH thinks it's a waste of time & money going to see him after my opp assesment to day, better when my surgery is done, I'm sure there is nothing to discuss with him that the surgeon has not already told me at his meeting 2 weeks ago.

I feel quite different this morning .I don't know why I felt most peculiar last night.

I am going to the pet shop this morning to have a look at dog coats.I have never had one before for Chester,,but I'm thinking if his fur is all shaved down the side and he has his stitches it might be a good idea to cover him up a bit when he for walkies.I won't be getting anything poncy though :-D :-D

It is so mild .15 deg at 9 o'clock when I was out.I had to carry my jacket.I now have the patio door open .It is very cloudy though.

Not a bad day here ,very mild and now and again a little sun peeps through.

Well i've had a reply from Genes about the credits it says.

Thanks for your email. I'm afraid that free credits were only given to members
who accessed the site during the time we had the performance problems (which was
any time between Saturday 22nd October and Monday 24th October). If you didn't
access the site between those times, then i'm afraid you're not eligible for the
free credits.

i have just replied saying that if they look on this thread they will see that i had accessed the site on the 22nd after a lot of trouble and i told them that the day before i couldn't get on at all, so will see what the reply will bring .

Love to see a photo of Chester in his new coat , i do think as they get older they fell the cold ,Toby loves being covered up when he goes to sleep ,if he didn't like it he'd soon push it off.
Also if he has stitches wearing a coat will stop the dirt getting on there when he has a stroll out.

Mandy yes I did see Downton last night. It was all happening on there yesterday, was'nt it?? Matthew being able to walk again, The other daughter eloping with the chaffuer, and more. I suppose next week will be the last one again and leave us all up in the air.
Oh and Thomas and his racket going wrong on him. I thought that was funny.

Conrad arrived out of the BLUE this morning. The car had to go back to Mercedes, as it's pulling to the right. He tells us that there was another cable thieft just outside his village again last night. The police chased the offenders and got one of their vehicles and their cutting gear. It's the THIRD TIME in the last month. So they are without Telephone lines, hence no Web availability, so no business. They believe it's an organised gang, going round and around to places where they have been before, and know that the cables will be replaced. So, easy pickings.!!!! THE BASTAR#S , How many people are being put at risk, and business. Give them to me for an hour and a woodman's axe. Thnery wouldn't do it again. Sorry I'm off on one again.!!!

I can just see Chester and Toby in their winter coats, I think they will enjoy them till their "MATES" see them and take the michael !!! We had those little coats for our poodles, and if Ros had had her way they would have had little booties in the snow, I wouldn't have taken them out in them :-D :-D :-D :-D

Very mild here also, very overcast though, so I don't think we will see any sunshine.

Harvey bought up a bucket full of Wallnuts on Friday, but they had dried out, so not fit for purpose as Ros will only eat "WET WALLNUTS" I will bag them up and give to neighbours, it will save them buying any for Christmas.

I managed to cancel Drs appointment for tonight, and a new one will be sent out in a few weeks time when I am fully recovered after my opp, that means we can come home straight after my assesment . instead of having to fill in time till we go back to the hospital. :-)

I've become addicted to walnuts Frank. Had loads when we chopped down the tree, first time ever, they were always so high up, easy if you're a squirrel. I know if I have one I shall end up eating a few handfulls, just can't stop once I start, will be glad when they've gone. I've probably put on about a stone, whenever I'm at the house working, DIL comes in with cream cakes or biscuits, and then she did chicken kiev and chips for dinner, it'll be hard getting back into my usual routine.

Thanks for the photos, Sofia is growing into a beautiful little girl. Looked like a nice place for a holiday Pat, the beach looked lovely.

Well it's quite bright out but I'm so cold I've put the heating on. Had to laugh at your FIL Ann, I wonder how you wouldn't notice a lens missing.

Poor old Chester, I think he'll be glad of a nice warm coat after his op.

Had a text from daughter, they are in New Jersey staying with cousins. There was a really bad storm and very heavy snow, some cable lines went down and they've been without electricity for more than a day, she said about 600,000 homes were affected, luckily another relative has electricity so they are staying there as it's too cold for Harry and they couldn't heat his bottles or anything. Let's hope it's not heading this way, didn't we get snow early last winter.

Hi Everyone. Well thats another show put to bed. It proved to be a very successful week and the audiences loved it. Managed to feed and water everyone and even had some food left over for the party afterwards.
The weather here is warm and wet so I have been making soup and hotpot and looking up gingerbread recipes for the weekend. The family arrive on saturday until Tuesday so I need to buy lots of food before then. We only have one day to turn around when they leave and then its off to Madiera for a lazy week.
Neck and back still playing up but not as bad as it was. Have been back to the nurse today to have my legs measured and she was pleased that swelling is going down. Guess the horrible socks are working. Can only get knee high or thigh high on prescription so will have to buy the tights, typical.
Fiona I hope all goes well for you on wednesday and you can look forward to eating most things again. :-) :-)
