Ellen was at the dentist this afternoon
One of the few things she is extreenly scared of.
Back again on Thursday afternoon to get some work done while sedated.

The young couple who viewed a home have offered £12,000.00 under the asking price.
Wer'e not happy.The asking price was low as it was.

Oh David what a shame. I suppose if you don't ask you don't get. Thats the way a lot of people think nowadays.

Still dry here. We were going to go out to Holsworthy so OH could get a pipe for the digger. We both changed and got ready to go but that was this morning and the bl**dy car would'nt start. I have'nt got my tax through yet so the car is on charge. Now the day is over I bet it will start soon!

Afternoon All,

Well we got up early this morning as it is windows day and the window cleaner was here before we were up the last couple of times. I left my shower until later as I always open the bathroom window!! OH unlocked the side gate and put the money out ready. Well he didn't turn up did he so we'll have to do it all again tomorrow!!!

Sorry you weren't well Mel and hope you feel a lot better now. If I eat in the evening I often have to have a Ren*ies when I go to bed. It's impossible to sleep when you have indigestion.

It seems I can't message Katherine either Jane, but I can other people. Your tooth repair sounds like a big job and probably expensive too!! I don't think I would be in a rush to go back either. lol


We now have the obelisk in position and managed to do it without chopping down any of the clematis. The rock edge to the left border is a few feet longer too so we hope to get that done this week, knees and backs permitting!! ) I want to get some plants I have in temporary pots put back in soon. We keep coming across buried bits of brick and tile and fence wire, always just where we need to dig down!!!

OH is shattered from moving rocks about and skimming soil levels off so is having a nap at the moment!! lol Yesterday, MIL and FIL said they were changing the path across the garden and removing the white gravel bits so OH is going over this week with some sacks as we think we will be able to use them. They will only go to the tip otherwise.

The little bunnies and chicks are lovely Frank and I was very impressed you remembered how to send the pic!!

Bright and sunny here this morning ,now we have the rain and wind !! but at least i got my washing all dry before it arrived .
Had a nice day yesterday , never got a chance to come on here ,what with family here and then out in the garden .

Ann, i loved the painting !! you clever old thing !!! i should think MIL was really pleased with it ,i know i would have been .

Frank, the little Bunnies / chicks are really lovely , i should think they'll sell like hot cakes .

Jane , don't like the sound of the treatment needed for your tooth you poor old thing .

Mel, hope your feeling better today ,trapped wind can be very uncomfortable and Anne hope you'll soon be feeling better too.

Pork steaks for tea tonight ,mashed potato ,green beans,carrots and Broccoli.

A lot of people don't go to the dentist out of fear David and I sympathise with Ellen. Better to be sedated to get the necessary work done than leave it though. That offer seems quite a drop. I doubt they expect you to accept it and are willing to pay more, even if not the full asking price. If they like it they won't want to lose it. What a nightmare it is moving house!

Many people,especially the young wheel and deal,haggle and negotiate.
If I'd raised the selling price I may have been offered the price I thought reasonable.
But they will speak among each other and the agent and come back,I hope.

We've had a few showers here since midday Mandy and it is getting quite windy as well. I think it is supposed to be fine the rest of the week and getting warmer in the midlands.

I've booked a trip on one of the Osprey Cruises on the Rutland Belle at Rutland Water later this year. Apparently the Ospreys often catch fish close to the boat, so I hope to get a few pics. Trust OH to say it will probably be raining!!!!!

I must try and watch Waking the Dead, I have never seen it.

Well the weather had been very odd today.Quite chilly with a strong wind again.But it was lovely first thing when I was out with Chester.I have just turned the heating up.No rain yet !!!!!

Macaroni with Stilton and Bacon tonight.It is cooking nicely at the moment.I think it will be peas and carrots to go with.

I hope Ellen gets on alright on Thursday at the Dentist.It's funny but I never used to be such a wimp,it just seems to be worse the older I get lol

I do hope Katherine Grace comes back Ann,she just may be able to fill in a few things .I rang Fitz and told him and he was quite excited lol

We've found the trouble with buying and selling, is not only the low offers you get (we've had two more!!) but when you come to buy another property the stamp duty is a real killer. I think it's 1% between £125.000 - £150.000, a penny over that and it's 3% which is a lot more money to find on the price! I've got the Dentist tomorrow at 2.30pm; I lost a filling over the w/end, so need a repair!! Nasty wet evening here, Ian a bit cheesed off, fed up with dripping, also his scar has become quite painful, the GP says it's nerve ends which could take six months to heal!!!! Finished decorating our bedroom Jane! it really does look a lot better, all the cobwebs have been hoovered away, skirting board washed, furniture cleaned, so feel pleased.

Well thats a good job done Liz and I hope you enjoy your new room as much as I am enjoying mine. Without all the things on the window sills it is so easy to clean. OH would'nt let me put all my orchids back in there!! Some are in the lounge and some in the hall and some in the bathroom. Oh and one in the kitchen but they all like the bedroom best.

Teeth all round this week it seems lol.I am alright with fillings ,it's anything more than that which gives me the willies.I know I need to make that appointment sometime as if I get another bad infection it could affect other parts.

I am a bit bemused as I have only seen 2 adult rabbits today.Where have all the babies gone???Now I have said that they will probably all pop out.Maybe all this talk of guns has scared them off lol(wishful thinking)

Fiona I will get that book in the post for you tomorrow.I have to go the Post Office to post a pressie for my Sister.

Daughter no 2 has brought down her washing she will have to wait for a while till I can get it dry, as its going to be raining for the next few days so I'll need to use the tumble dryer. it makes all the windows run in the back porch yuck.

Virgin e-mail system is down so I can't send any e-mails , it will hopefully be back on soon. was ok this morning but not working now,

Mel I only have two plants upstairs and they are in the front bedroom where I have the computer, if I had more upstairs I would forget to water them.
Most of them are in the living room and quite a few in hall & front porch even though OH still has to remind me to water them especially on warm days the front porch is like a hot house when the sun has been shining.

I'm dreading the washing coming home.It will be lots of boxers all tangled up with socks .Manky towels and sheets.Think I shall go and buy myself a nose peg lol
I hope your Tummy settles Mandy.When I have a tummy upset I warn everyone not to use 'that loo'.lol.We have 3 to choose from(thank heavens)

Hannah cooked Chicken .Where are these baby bunnies???????.I am baffled.
I have stocked up on washing tablets and conditioner lol. I love my son ...but not his washing .
