I think they must have done Jane, i suppose i'll have to call in the doctors and see if they know anything , i saw so many doctors in the hospital that i don't know the doctors name who said i needed another xray , they said an appointment would be sent to me .

Been in the garden reading my book , i've got a stack of ironing that needs doing but i'll do that tomorrow , oh no i won't i've got the family coming for the day and i don't get anything done when they come !!!

Been a bit weary today with a sore throat, could be going down with OH cold, keeping my fingers crossed I'm not as bad as he was.
Been cloudy this morning but brightened up this afternoon got some washing dry.

Hi Everyone

Had a busy day today with Tourist office and hospital shop so out all day. The weather has been very mixed with a sunny beginning then dull and damp at lunch time and now sunny again but it is much cooler and the heating has come on.
Today is our wedding anniversary so we are going to the Indian tonight for a meal if we can work up the necessary enthusiasm. Trouble is they deliver to the house and we often opt to stay indoors so we can both have a glass of wine. Will have to make a decision soon

Talking about cows.
Several years ago after 2 or more pints I went on to the Hoppings,an enormous travelling fair ground that visits Newcastle in the summer.
Late at night I decided to walk home via the town moor.

I nearly fell over a dairy cow that was on the ground.

Mel, i haven't had an xray appointment through from the hospital yet !! they said they would send me one through ,then i'll go to the doctors for the result .

Oh Fiona, was good of OH to share his cold with you !! hope you soon feel better .

Just back from picking up Hannah and Chris from the station.Luckily their trains were only 15 minutes apart.Spag Bol for us tonight,so easy as sauce is from a jar.

So much for me saying I was going to have a days rest today. After doing Lewis's bike I thought I would pot on some tomato plants. Here's a story fot you.

When we were last in Rutland for a weekend. Conrad mentioned a certain tomato that he has taken too, very sweet both in smell and taste. ROS took one little cherry tomato, cut it bin half and scooped out the seeds. She spread them on a tissue and dried them on the radiator. When we got home she sprinkled them in a tray of compost.Up they came over FIFTY PLANTS These were the ones I potted on. fifty four plants into small pots, my back is breaking at the moment. Then I had to find space in the greenhouse. TWO dustbin liners later full of old flower pots, I sweept the bench down, sweept the floor, and loaded the pots into place. All watered and feed, these are just a few of what we have got, We still have to pot on the Beef toms, money maker. and some Italian Plum tomato's. Who's got a good receipe fot PASTA SAUCE.

We had SPAG BOLS for dinner tonight !!!!

The cows get as close as they can to peer over the brambles and fence, so it's a good job there is barbed wire to hold them back. I keep hearing twigs snap as they are using the trunks of the old hedge as back scratchers. There are only 5, but one is a huge Hereford.

Six months after OH had his interview for the clerking job he got his acceptance letter today (dated January!). In it they are asking to see his CRB papers and driving licence. They have only already seen and photocopied them TWICE since last September!!!

OH moved some soil to level off the old pond this afternoon, then we fetched some walling blocks and paving slabs to make a small step in the garden. The car springs sagged a bit carrying them and so has OH !!

Oh how I wish I still had a bath, could just lie back and have a good soak. Have been in the shower with the water as hot as I can stand it, but not the same, need a young lady to give me a good massage. That will take the ache away !!!!!

Ann it makes you wonder who these people are running these councils. They seem to me they couldn't organise a P### up in a brewery. Just the same if OH had passed away, waiting all this time. Does he still want the job ???

Nurse Jane here Frank.I have bathed plenty of men in my day ,and am sure I could do the same for you.I won't tell you about the poor chap who died though .( I just remembered that) lol.Maybe the shock of me bathing him was just too much.Nearly frightened me to death too.

Well everyone has disappeared off to bed here,so I think all I need to do is to let Chester out and then I will be off myself.

Have been watching Time Team .I just love that programme.
I think it is tomorrow that the change happens to the TV when they switch from something to the other.Downstairs TV should be fine but we haven't sorted Hannahs or James's upstairs.

Exactly Frank, they just waste money (ours). Yes, he is beginning to wonder if he wants it. Sounds like you could do with one of the old tin baths positioned under the shower.......or a spa like Mandy's. Can't help you with the young woman though!! lol

Mandy it would be fatal if we had a chocolate factory near me, I'd always be going. lol Make sure you don't get too many eggs for the big ones as well!!!

I'm early today as daughter no 1 got to go into work this morning for training so she's picking me up and Sofia & I are going shopping. for an hour or so.
Was in Ear*y Lea*ning C**tre yesterday. and saw a Mega b*ocks table Mandy might know what I mean. its a little table designed for Big Lego building sets. it should have been £30 but it was down to £21 then down again to £16.50, so I grabbed it for Sofia's birthday in September she will be 2 she loves her big bricks., a great bargain

Still have a sore throat, but so far can still speak will not have to not over do it today at Musical Minis class when singing the Hokey Kooky (sp) lol

By the sounds of things you need my 53 foot long greenhouse to house your toms. Will Ros sell some for charity?? How big is your greenhouse?

Ann I should think OH would be fed up with waiting by now for that job. Hope we are going to get some pics of this new garden this year. The old pics were really lovely and I did'nt think things needed changing but you are the ones who have to work and sit in it. I am sure you have improved it no end.

We have a strange neighbour out the front so no shooting is allowed out there. I was told this by OH when I first got the gun. I did position the rabbit trap under the top gate again yesterday.

Jane no Chris cannot borrow my gun, tell him to get his own! You would'nt let him shoot your bunnies anyway. Just wait till they get a taste for his veg!! as they have mine.

Chris is thinking of getting an air rifle !!! I am not happy about it.I understand the rabbits need to be got rid of though,because they are going to totally trash our garden.Just a moment ago there was a tiny one just right outside the patio door !.

Hope that throat clears up soon Fiona.If I get a cold it usually starts with a sore throat and then turns into a streamer.

It's a funny morning .It was brighter earlier,but now is cloudy and with quite a breeze.I think we may get some rain.

Mandy was it last year you had a load of different chocolate ,and we all wanted some.I think you had quite a lot lol
