Tricky one that David, I would say you've got it the right way round, unless you sell yours you can't buy. When my daughter and OH sold their house they had to rent for a while till they found a new home.

No, I had a good time Mandy but didn't do the walk as it was pouring with rain. Still, there's alway another day. Planning to see Phantom of the Opera soon. Don't tell OH Ann he might get jealous. There are so many musicals and shows to choose from but a friend of mine said it was the best one she has seen.

Ellen & I have agreed that if our offer is accepted and the legal documentation is movving slowly we will rent for as long as necessary.

Ellen's late parents home is presently to let.

Morning All,

Not very bright today but mild with it.

We watched Prof. Brian Cox last night too as OH loves anything like that. When we were first to gether I did'nt like to look at the stars on my own at night outside. I don't really know why but they seemed a bit scary knowing there was just nothingness out there. He showed me the satilites passing across the sky and we used to sit outside in the dark and see how many we could see in a couple of hours.

Shopping for me today after OH has been to the dentist or I may go before he gets back.

Morning All
Started off as a lovely sunny day but has just clouded over
Oh Mandy sounds a sore one , hope it's not to big a bruise. I slip out of my slippers often, I stopped wearing slip ons but really don't like grannies all in ones lol, so I tend to wear down the backs walking on them. naughty me lol

just a bit of washing to do and tidy up.

Mandy hope the bruise is'nt to bad or big. What a silly girl and just as well the printer was alright.

Jane have you recovered from your hectic day out?

I forgot to say that when I went shopping last week, just up the road where I turn right to Bideford in the corner field there were three deer feed at about 2.30 in the afternoon. Thats a funny time for them to be grazing in daylight.

Afternoon All,

More lovely sun.......soon I'll be saying it is too hot. lol

Maureen, yes he would have been jealous only we saw Phantom about 4 years ago.....different cast obviously. It was very good. We took MIL and FIL so it must have been a special birthday or anniversary. I remember FIL having to be told to shut up as he was 'humming' the songs and heads were beginning to turn!!!

Mel, there are signs up on that deer park near here telling people not to feed the deer!! They have become quite tame, too tame and trusting really, not like your wild ones at all.

Well we aren't getting on with the step after all. OH had one of those 24 hr BP monitors fitted this morning as his BP has been a bit variable and the nurse said no gardening today.

Mandy, I've lost count of the times I've left my slip on slippers behind!! I have stopped going up the steps in them since I hurt my knees as I had one or two near misses. It is a horrid shock when you fall like that.

I bet Frank's been flinging his newly repaired patio door open too.........now he can!! lol

Not sure what to do next. OH says the new iron isn't heavy enough, so it looks like we need another one and keep the cheap one for emergencies. I must say I prefer a lightweight one, but prefer him doing the ironing even more!! Think I might plant some more seeds.

Hope Shirl's ok and that she has some better weather now.

Ouch Mandy, reckon you're going to have quite a bruise, surprised you didn't get carpet burn. I wear those boot slippers, really comfortable and much warmer than ordinary slippers.

The Phantom and the other musicals I've seen are all in London, it's only a tube ride for me. That's why I was keen to do a London Walk, I have lived in the suburbs of London all my life but I bet a foreigner would know his way around better than me.

My sisters favourite show is Blood Brothers. She has seen it loads of times.I don't know what my favourite show has been.I used to go every December with the girls from the surgery and my sister always came too. They don't seem to organise a trip like that now which is a pity as it was always a great day out.
I remember one year I had a spare ticket as Hannah was poorly and couldn't go.I was stood out on the pavement like a ticket tout (sp)?.I sold it to a chap for £30 ,and when the person who bought it off him sat next to me in what was Hannahs seat ,he said he paid £90 for the ticket !!!!!!!.I didn't let on that both me and him had been ripped off lol.

Its very quiet on the thread isn't it .I hope everyone is ok.Frank maybe having trouble switching to his new computer.

Dentist for me in the morning.I won't be looking forward to that.
Fitz is due home from Venice tonight so I can't wait to see him and hear all about his week.
