Evening everyone.
Been sunny here till about 4.00 then the heavens opened and down it came and still pouring now.
went to collect T shirts from Ma**s which I ordered on line last week and they were in the shop this morning and posted a parcel for OH.

Chicken peices in Mushroom sauce, pots & veg for tea tonight.

The Tagine was lovely tonight. First time I have frozen it and tasted great. Cheated and had couscous from packet ( Ainsl*y H ) and it was very tasty.
Coupled with a glass of red I am a happy bunny.
At the shop this afternoon we were discussing football transfers and how they need to be capped in some way.
It seems so wrong that people are trying to live sensibly and millions of pounds are being thrown around as though its confetti.
Now back to the research

I have been busy typing out a post and then couldn't send it because of no signal AGAIN,and now it is lost.Poo!!!!!

Just briefly I said Frank if you are concerned then you really should check things out........and I like the sound of your stew ,but not with Oxtail soup!

Liz things sound positive for your house.Fingers crossed here for you.

Anne if your Tagine is not too spicy I would quite like your recipe please.

I don't know why but my hips and fingers have felt all stiff and achy today.I'm finding it difficult to grip things tightly.I know ,I know ,it's my age lolol.
Pasta tonight with garlic bread and side salad.Chris can start off with some of that Parsnip and carrot soup.I had it for lunch.
I am going hit the submit button now quickly just in case I lose it all again.

Mel, i have learnt how to use the computer from my son ,each time he came he would teach me a little more , and of course you taught me how to copy and paste.
If it wasn't for doing the family tree i don't think i would have bothered with it .

Don't understand what you mean about a couple of numbers and not getting the code in !!!

I would like the recipe too please Anne, was it Lamb Tagine?

Off to Norwich tomorrow with my sister ,DIL and the two girls , usually do the Park and ride ,much easier than trying to find somewhere to park , plus the little ones like the bus ride .

6.23pm.

Had my stew with herby dumplings, two bowls full for me one for Ros. It still tastes great half an hour later. Will have to get a mint to clear the taste.

I bet the bantams loved the sunshine, I know when I use to let mine out they would decimate the flower border, pecking and scratching around. Ros use to go mad.!!!!

It turned out to be a nice day after all, lots of sunshine but still a cold wind.

Jane, We always put oxtial soup in it, it helps with the taste. Forgot to say. Bist# and o#o and bover## added to the lot. I cooked it for about three and a half hours.

I have a very sore hip today and it's my good one. I could'nt stand on my right leg to get my trousers on this morning. I don't know that I have done anything to it to cause trouble. It was like it yesterday too and then I had to push the shopping trolley.

Like you jane old age!!!!! Ha ha ha................................

Jane if you could learn to copy and paste you could always copy your post and if it disappears you could paste it back in and away you go!! Can't chris show you how to do it, as I am sure he can do it.

Mandy I have a lit up screen on the radio in my car which went a bit barmy a few years ago. Loosing some of the digital numbers that light up to show what station you are on or the time. When the battery is taken off the car you have to reset the radio by putting a code in, usually 4 numbers. It is a security device if the radio is stolen they can't get it to work without the code. As I can't read the numbers on the screen I don't knowif the code I am trying to put in is the right one.

MillymollyAmanda Report 1 Feb 2011 18:46

Ahh , ours is like that Mel, you have to press the button say four times if the first number is four and so on , we had the number on a little card when we bought the car .

We never have put the clock in the car back an hour when the clocks were altered ,so when we're in the car we have to remember its an hour ahead !!

Annx Report 1 Feb 2011 20:01

I have to change my car clock or OH moans whenever he is in my car! I have to look up how to do it every time.......I wish all car manufacturers made altering things the same. I have never forgotten when OH had a hire car while his was in for repair and he couldn't move the seat forward or find the bonnet lock to be able to fill the empty washers and there was no handbook in the car. It was in the evening, but he managed to find a garage open that told him how to adjust the seat (it was adjusted electrically!!) and to open the bonnet there was a keyhole under the car logo on the bonnet!! I thought he was going to have to drive around with a wad of cushions behind him and keep stopping to wipe the screen. lol

We have a little pile of presents wrapped ready for FIL's 90th birthday tomorrow. OH managed to get him a book called 'Engines of War' about the railways during wartime. He likes books about the war. We are picking them up at 7.00am so will be leaving at 6.30 am from here so will be up well before 6.00am!!!! I think I will be like a zombie at that time.....not used to getting up that early lately. I am really looking forward to the IMAX at Bradford, hope I dare see the film about the International Space Station in the funny glasses. I don't think the others will. We are all going to see the one about deep sea diving......well, I think so. lol

I think I better go and sort out what to wear next........OH likes the car cool for travelling but it is supposed to be about 9 degrees tomorrow so the museum could be quite hot for me and my 'vapours'. lol

Forgot to say Liz, how lucky that those people are so keen to buy and here's hoping they make a good offer. I remember a lovely holiday at the White Horse at Exford which is the same area I think, lovely for a holiday home.

Mandy, hope you enjoy your day in Norwich and find something nice to buy after you've done some window shopping!!! lol

Toodle - ooo and have a nice evening xx
