Frank, I'd give you a gong anyday, just for keeping us amused with all you emails.I'n fact I'll see if the J Arthur Rank one is still available, no one would avoid seeing you with THAT! LOL. :-D

Oh Chris was paying attention to them then Jane....he might be a fan next. :-) Was he sodden when he got back? Jane I wouldn't dare be untidy in anyone else's house. I would be embarrassed and would want to be hoovering up any bits on the bedroom floor myself.Have you heard anymore from Rachel? Or is no news good news?

You made me chuckle Mandy....Frank's 'second home'!! lol. It's nice to get a few bargains. I remember hunting around for an oak nest of tables and some cost quite a lot then. They are very useful though, I stick a tray with my beading stuff on one when I sit on the settee.

But am managing to do some chores round the house. But not doing any hoovering. and I get tired quickly walking up the stairs too

Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas and you all have a happy new Year,

Liz, when we stayed at Exford years ago, we used to hear noise when dogs at some kennels nearby were being fed. Now you've said that about Staghounds, might that have been what they were. It didn't sound like ordinary barking come to think of it and I know that was not far from where you used to live. I suppose it could have been a draghunt that Chris saw as well.....hope he wasn't sucking an aniseed sweet! . :-D I haven't watched The Girl yet.....might be tonight.

I doubt it was a drag hunt Ann, they're always on horse back and very fast. 'I' has been on those years ago and you have to be very fit as does your horse!! Yes I expect it was the Staghounds you heard, they're much bigger than foxhounds, who are bigger than beagles, and as for Bassets, they have tiddly legs but are sujrprisingly strong and keep going (on foot) for hours. Our pack come up from the New Forest now and again and are super dogs, very friendly and anxious to please.
Do watch 'The Girl' and tell me what you think?!!

OK turned the potatoes and turned the heat down
Ann I had a card from Rachel (yesterday) One of these photo cards with Ethan dressed as one of Santa's Elves and little Zach in a Santa outfit!!! Ethan sat on Darren's lap and Rachel had Zach.(it was a Moon Pi* card).Lovely to have but other than one call from Rachel when Zach was 11 days old and things were bad I have heard nothing. Not even replies to emails or a comment or two I made on face book (nice comments about Ethan looking forward to Santa). So I will just sit back and wait

:-D

Dinner is ready.

Afternoon all,

Will, nice photo's of the children, glad you had a nice time.

Who's the stranger from Scotland OH it's Fiona. Glad you are feeling able to pop in and see us, do it when you can, we all miss you <3 <3 <3

JANE, I have been dreaming of you and Chris. He was perched on to of a Telegraph pole, as I walked passed your house. I( called to him, but didn't get a reply. you were standing in the drive, and said "good morning" as I walked passed. formal or what ???

Ros is still not well, lying on the sofa, in her dressing gown, I told her to "GET BACK TO BED" No, I am comfortable here. !! I have been in the kitchen preparing "Christmas Dinner" for Lewis. Ros called out. "Don't cook for me, I won't eat anything. What a watle off a good Turkey and all the effot I have put into getting a nice dinner. To say the least, I am feed up to the HIGH TEETH (the ones I have still got) LOL LOL.

I ment to say one of my presents is high tea at LUTON HO. I just have to book and go. Will leave it till the better weather. Jane you went there for lunch with Fitz didn't you ???

Don't see any hunting around this area now. When I lived at Kettering, every Boxi9ng Morning we went to Brigstock and follered the hunt by car.

Lewis wants o go to see Chelsea play at 1.30 pm. I don't think I should take a chance on going, don't want to cause an upset.

I don't think Ros will be able to take Lewis back tomorrow, I will have to ring Harvey to arrange to collect him. As for New Years Day at Harvey's we will have to see. There will be no fun going if she is going to be bad.

Sorry for all the doom and gloom.

Oh dear Frank; so sorry that Ros is still not feeling A1. I think that Xmas is a very bad time of year, weather awful, lots of bugs and nasties, and all the hype, expense(!) and the feeling that 'the jolly box' has to be constantly on at full bore! Can be stressful!!!! Weather iffy here today, sunshine(ish) but plenty of wind and of course the obligatory rain!! Frank, think of our old neighbours and the water lapping at their Patio Doors!!! that should cheer you up! Have walked Millie, 'I' has got in a load of logs, fed Merlin and we are now trying to find a nice film (again!) to see us though this afternoon Goose(!) and orange gravy for supper with mash and brussels (easy!) Weather forecast in a minute, I think it MAYbe a bit better!!

Hi All,

Been busy this morning having a hoover and changing the bed and doing washing although it won't go out as it is really miserable here today. Dry at the moment.

After lunch oh went outside to have a ciggy and knocked on the window and said the little weazle was out there. I came out with my camera but they are so quick I think I missed him. Yes they are weazles not stoats which are much bigger. at least oh saw it this time and now we have my camera out there to see if they come back.

Frank that was a nice pressy, high tea at Luton Hoo. Hope Ros feels better soon. Give her my wishes please. xx <3

Love also to Janice xx <3

Hello Fiona, great to see you posting, have missed hearing how Sofia is doing and will look forward to news of Matteo too, don't overdo it though.

What are we going to do with you Frank, another pair of slippers gone AWOL. Did you ever find those keys. Such a shame Ros is not well when you spend so much time preparing and cooking such lovely meals, not that I would want to be unwell but I wish I could lose my appetite, haven't stopped eating since Christmas Eve, the best incentive will be when I can't do my trousers up :-(

Lovely photos of two beautiful baby girls William and nice to have family call, it is so easy to lose touch and then time goes by and it seems too late to get back in touch.

Am in the middle of a 'spring' clean. Never get around to it in the Spring, if the weather is nice I just want to be in the garden.

Will be at my daughters tomorrow, her partner is working a late shift so I said I would go over and keep her company and help with Harry and Chloe, said we could have a glass of wine come midnight but doubt if either of us will be able to stay awake till then.

Well you must have made Jess feel right at home Jane if she is leaving her stuff everywhere. We must have the same sense of humour, I was laughing out loud to Mrs. Brown's Boys, have missed most of the series as it's on when it's my bedtime, I love the rapport between Mrs. Brown and her neighbour Winnie.

Must get on with a bit more cleaning, try and finish upstairs today at least.

Afternoon everyone,

Lovely sunny day here ,i haven't been out today but hubby has been outside sorting out his van and he said it's really cold in the wind .

Lovely photo's of the little ones William ,i bet they enjoyed seeing all your models :-)

Frank, poor Ros still feeling poorly ,she's had a rotten time of it lately hasn't she ,i hope she soon feels better.
Any sign of the slippers?

Have a lovely time with the family Jane.

I have been getting forward doing all the veg ready for new years day ,got it all ready in bags in the fridge ,sister and BIL are coming but i don't know yet if son and family are coming or going to DIL's parents so i'll just have to do more veg when i know.
We're having Roast Beef, i also bought a big Turkey breast as DIL doesn't like beef ,if they don't come that will go in the freezer .

Have set the camera up down where I feed the other things down the garden for tonight so we will see what arrives to eat the food put out!! :-S

Bet I am going to get a shock and I hope is is not rats... :-0

Did'nt get anything on the camera except oh going out the gate and then me going to feed the chickens and bantams. There was one tiny bit of robby having a mealworm and a still of cheeky chaffinch.
