Mel I had a quick look at the Harry Worths .Couldn't believe how many there were in Devon.What a brilliant name though.Visions of the old TV Harry Worth doing that thing in the shop window where he lifted one arm and one leg and the reflection looking like he was raising both sides :-D :-D.

sorry if i have been neglecting you but have the bit between the teath with my uncles side of the family....Came in from linedancing so there was more for me from Mels..thanks Mel.. getting a bit confusing now but have spoken to my Uncle again to try and see what he remembers he is 88.
So alate night last night..... It is sunny here at the moment washing in machine but then I must tackle my ironing and some weeding inbetween doing the tree,,but you do get hooked...catch you later.

Why is this 1911 frustrating Pat?? This one is not yours if Isobel May is your relly this couple only had one child and one child still living which is Phillip Harry Worth. This William (the father) was born in Brixham which is near Torquay. Your William was born near Tavistock at Lydford which is not all that far from where I live. I think you will find that this 1911 census is for William H Worth whose father is Harry Worth.

This is Isobel's birth and the only way to make sure is to buy her birth cert from the GRO index. This will give you her mothers maiden name of Jackman not Jackson.

Im know I have the right 1911 census and also know William henry did marry Jessie Jackman. because my uncle gave me jessies maiden name....I have spoken to my uncle yet again this morning and he mentioned Peatcott farm in devon somewhere.But still not able to find parents of William Henry..
the 1911 census has my uncles mother isabel may worth on there.the 1901 has isabel with her mother Jessie staying with Jessies parents..no sign of a census for William henry..

I can only go by what info my uncle has given me.I cannot find a correct birth for my William Henry which on some records is quoted as William Hy..But I will plod on so they say..

Its just trying to take the tree back further on the Worth side...but cant find willian henry with his parents yet..On some census he is listed as William Hy

Maureen....I cant go any further with my tree that is why I didnt renew my subs on here or ancestry..This is my uncle by marriage tree ..He has no children..to be interested in this..\but he is veery pleased as he still has a sister alive who can pass the info down to her children and has already been telling her what we have found..
