I have just looked up the garden and now I see a face at the top too!! It just depends what light you lok at him in!!

There could be two green men, one looking to the right lower down and one looking straight ahead top left.

It's strange what you can see in a certain light ,it just seems to catch your eye and then its gone .

The little ones like finding things in the clouds too, they sit back in the chair and come out with all sorts of things that they can see.

Mandy I did our car tax yesterday at the P O.Both mine and Chris's.At least you are sorted now :-D
It does sound like an infection you have.Isn't Barley Water supposed to be good?

Now the Skirting and Kick Boards are off it doesn't half smell of damp :-S :-S :-S .We now have yet another very noisy fan type blower in the lounge and it also has a squeak!!I did get the chap to change over the dehumidifiers so the very large one that was in the kitchen and getting in the way all the time is in the garage and that one is now in the kitchen and I can get around that one much easier plus it is lighter to move.

They have gone now so I will go and clean off all the worktops and get a bite of lunch.

Jane ... ignore those 'phonecalls. What I do sometimes is put the 'phone down quietly on the table and leave it for a few minutes, they don't like talking into silence.

RE: Childhood memories ... coal fires in school and frozen milk, with the cream above the tops of the bottles, put in front of the fire to thaw. :-)

Morning my lovelies,

Had a bit better night last night. Laid awake till 2.30 am then slept till 8.00 went to the loo, and got back into bed, slept till 10.00am

Very wet and windy here, dark clouds all around.

Jenny (if i can call you that) I so remember the third of a pint of milk. I was the milk monitor nearly 68 years ago. The winters were much colder then. The cardboard tops on the milk stood up a good inch above the bottle top, and we use to suck the cream like a lollypop.

Jane, Not long now. Get away and get some peace and quiet. A few glass's of wine and the world will look a different place <3 <3 <3

You bought back memories of when My ex was expection our first child. She had a water infection, and barley water was mentioned as a good cure. SO I MADE MY OWN. I can still remember the look of it. Thick as porridge, and realy unpaletable. !!!
I spent more trying to make it ,than it would have cost to buy a bottle of Robinso#s
See the old grey cells are not all dead :-D :-D :-D

Have a good holiday Shelia, how long are you away.???

I bet we get three or four of these phone calls each day. Ther ones that you get where nobody speaks is to find out what time you are home. This information is passed/sold on to these telephone canversers. So when they call they know you are normally home. CLEAVER BASTAR#S. I loose my RAG with them, and slam the phone down. I will have to try to kieep my cool, and just put the phone on the side, and let them waste their money. One I did talk to was phoning from the PHILLIPINES !!!

Nice to see William popping in now and again.

Best not to take neighbours dog for a walk Frank, sounds like he has that Labrador gene for getting over excited. My parents had a golden labrador who never learned to walk nicely on the lead, he did pull my mum over once, she broke her ankle.

The kids are back to school next week aren't they, that usually means a change for the better in the weather, so fingers crossed for Jane and Sheila that you get a bit of sunshine.

It's Thursday Sheila, how are the dentures, do they fit?

The WDYTYA this week was a bit different, didn't go back very far but it was quite interesting. Looking at the photo of Patrick Stewart's father must have been like looking in the mirror for him they were so alike. Thanks for the tip off Mel, will look out for War Time Farm even if it's not as good as the other two I shall tune in just to see Peter ;-)

Northumberland Pat.Staying in Alnwick again. There was still so much to see last year we decided to go back again this year.
The DUST lol.The machine in here has blown all the balls of dust from behind the radiator right up the wall to the ceiling .I will wait until James wakes up and then get the hoover out.I think a cup of tea is in order now plus an anti histamine for my itchy ears and throat.

Thanks for the photos of Ros trip Frank, were those scones and cream with strawberry jam I spied.

Poor Jess she really is finding it hard to settle isn't she Sheila, hasn't she made any friends. I had a feeling those dentures wouldn't fit :-0. I had a false tooth in the front but couldn't get on with it at all and the dentist did a bridge in the end, think if I lose another tooth in the front I might try the implants, very expensive but worth it.

Might not get on here tomorrow, the weather looks good so will make the most of it and get the garden tidied up, so will say have a great holiday Sheila and Jane, leave all your worries at the front door and have a nice relaxing week.

I have had trouble getting on here ."ERROR Page"

Update on Fiona.......Her CT scan showed nothing so she is now waiting for an MRI scan.Poor girl is thoroughly fed up.The good thing though is that she is sleeping better.I think she is a mystery for the Docs. She sounded quite upbeat but just so fed up not knowing what the problem is.

I have done a big damp dust but don't think it will stay clear for long :-S,and my Lazy Susan corner unit seems to have a problem .I can't turn it around as it seems to have come loose(the twirly bit).I think maybe the unit has shifted when the kickboard came off :-S Not sure what to do about that.

Oh Chris has come in so better go for now.

Frank.Love the pics of Ros's trip to the castles.

Oh thanks for letting us know about Fiona Jane, she must be so fed up ,it's been going on for such a long time now ,good to know that she's getting a better nights sleep at least .
I still wonder if its some thing to do with that fall she had ,when she banged her head that time.

Did she say how the extension is going or has it all been put on hold ?

Evening All,

I know what you mean about WDYTYA Pat. It was quite interesting but they only seemed to focus on his father didn't they? Forgot to say before......thanks for the pic of Mocha, he's growing up isn't he! I love his silky ears.

Sheila, it sounded like poor Jess was in a sitcom......everything going wrong! All she can do is apologise, it was just circumstances, not what she did. I hope she feels a bit better about it now. Naughty Beryl shouting that out in a restaurant!!!! :-0 I bet the owner was annoyed if he heard. All the best for your hols and I hope the sea stays calm for you for the crossing. Also hope your neck improves and that the dentist is wrong and that your teeth stay in ok........EDIT I see they were no good....what a shame!!!!

We went on the park and ride this morning with our free tickets. It didn't start well when the shuttlebus moved off just as we got there.....a minute early!! Off we went on the next one, my what tiny, uncomfortable seats!! After 10 minutes OH said his btm was 'dead' and his legs numb!!! lol. We were pitching all over the place in the bumpy bus lane too. Off we got at the other end and went our different ways to do our seperate errands. OH queued ages in his bank and then got nowhere with the young clerk despite having paperwork to show him. All he wanted to know was whether a linked bank account was still operating!! OMG after a few shrugs he said he didn't know and to ring the building society!!!! I got a few bits and bobs on the market, but oh how it has changed!! The food stalls are still good, but instead of all the fabulous stalls covered in rolls of fabric etc there is a lot of 'tat'. There were about 4 stalls selling those hookah pipes.....never seen those there before!! We met up then and OH said where he had been it is really 'dire' and run down now.......we both said we were glad we no longer worked in the city. The only good bit now seems to be near the new Shi*es development. Off we went to the pick up point to find that there were seats over the road where people are dropped off, but none our side where you wait to be picked up after tramping around the shops.....typical! Then another lurching, bumpy ride back with OH muttering 'never again'!! lol:-D The bus had a buit in bin at the front labelled 'used tickets', but you need your ticket to put in the machine to get out of the carpark when you get back, so you would think they would have at least taped over the label. If you don't have your ticket to get out of the carpark, there is a machine for you to purchase one......for £10!!
