Afternoon all,

Nearly didn't get here today.

I woke this morning, had terrible chest pains and pins and neddles down my right arm. I tried to call for Ros but nothing came out of my mouth. I laid back on the pillow, and waited to see what would happen. But as you can see, NOTHING DID. but boy did it frighted me. Ros wanted to get an ambulance and take me to A & E. But by 10.30 I was feeling much better.

We arrived at Edith Weston about 1.15.Had a bit of lunch, and I have sat around all afternoon.

We had a terific rain storm this afternoon, for over an hour. still very cloudy. DID YOU GET IT ANN ??

Glad the Discs arrived Jane. And not so much of THE OLD.!!!! One disc is of the top books for last year.

The naughty books that are around in a triligy. Conrad downloaded them for Jan for (FIFTY PENCE) I will ask him how to do it and pass it on for those of you who want to indulge. :-D :-D I won't be allowed, Could be bad for my Health.

Maureen, Have you tried GUMTREE. That's another place to look for your table.

Getting to bright in the conservatory, to see the screen, See you later.

Evening All,

Frank we had a shower earlier but no storm so it must have missed us! That attack must have been very scary and especially not being able to call Ros. Maybe you should see your doc to get checked out when you get back......may need to look at your meds? :-D

Maureen, OH took some of those post spikes out when he took our timber arch down. What a game he had as there was concrete around the bottoms of them too. You did well to get yours out, we thought we might have to leave ours in.

Mandy those books are cheap in Tes*os!! I hope the juicy bits were worth it.....the storyline didn't sound my kind of thing, but then I did read Lady Chatterley's Lover years ago, but it seemed a bit tame to me even then!

Saw MIL and FIL after lunch today. We had found a little car just like theirs for sale in the city. We didn't even get to mention it though because guess what.........they'd changed their minds yet again and don't want a car now!! FIL still struggling with the bath rather than consider a shower, so set in their ways. They won't use an ATM five minutes walk from where they live , so it's a taxi to fetch their pensions now as it HAS to be from the Post Office!! I despair :-S Kim, I know how Joy's daughter feels........just waiting for the next thing to sort out !!

We are off to Stamford tomorrow as OH is going to a match there........at least the car will be nice and cool now, however hot it gets. :-D It will be nice to see some different shops and the old buildings and it is a nice run through the Vale of Belvoir.

We were talking about the 'old days' last night (as you do!! lol) and OH mentioned those ashtrays that you pressed a knob down and it pushed and spun a lid down so all the ash disappeared. I remember mum and dad having one that had a shiny chrome lid.

Hi All.

Glad Frank recovered from his nasty turn this morning. You have a nice rest this weekend please................. We don't want anything happening to you.

It has been a lovely day here today with plenty of sunshine and no rain at all. I got two loads of washing out and dry and in.

The pcc meeting at the church took 2 hours and by the end I was quite cold and had to go outside in the sun to warm up.

Maureen I bet you were really glad you persivered and got the other three post holders out. They can be difficult but they do do their job well when you use them. I have my bird table in one of those. When oh gets them out he puts another piece of wood in them smaller than they take and wiggles them back and forth and round and round till they become lose.

Morning and evening all,

Another lovely day here. Oh has been and picked up a load of composts and grit to fill in the new bed by my pond for the Acers.

Why is it when we get a nice day when we could get on in the garden that we have a wedding to ring for at 2pm to break the day up. Never mind I am hoping it will only be an hour today and we can get back to the garden.

Ros has a BIG plasticbox, with all her Jewellery displays . and her Jewellery, ready to put out when she gets there. Do hope she does well.

Mel, I would think it would be a bit of a drudge, having to pack up what you are doing and get ready for RINGING then come back and start again. Do they have ant reserve ringers ???

Conrad is cooking breakfast for us two. so will go and lay table.

See you later.

Morning all,

I hope summer has finally arrived for everyone over there.

Was sunny and windy, but the rain eventually fell and temps. dropped.

Glad to report that Joy was sitting on the couch with a blanket over her reading a book today. Very safe!!! A few people have checked on her, so I hope she stays put for a few days and doesn't come visiting on one stick. :-0

Daughter has a friend staying over tonight, so that will keep her out of trouble and son is sick with the chest infection having freshened up again. He did have a full weekend planned - 2 parties and a football game in Sydney. Not a happy camper.

Frank sounds like you are feeling better after that scary episode.

We have ordered some more jumpers and cardigans from the U.K. again. Did the same last year and they were beautiful quality. Looking forward to receiving them in the next week or so.

Not much to report, will probably watch a movie or listen to some music. Have a good day. 9.07 pm AEST
