Hi Berona, my back is fine hun just my hip giving me stick. Glad you hear you enjoyed your visit with old neighbour.

Tec my visit with the specialist was on the 23rd Nov hun but I'm waiting for another referal to see another one who is prepared to give me the injection's you can get when you are waiting for a hip operation as the one I saw doesn't do them. Hope you and OH are both well and keeping warm.

lol Tec, that sound's just right and so easy to sort clothe's, must have the big floppy hat and the crouchet dress ( lined of cause and not to short ) otherwise I'd look like ( mutton dressed as lamb ) lol.

I said 9st plus cos I haven't weighed in a few weeks ,don't know where the scales are since the bathroom is still being redone !!
I was 13st plus( lol) at my heaviest a few yrs ago,didn't go on a diet just a lost of appetite,a lot of sad things going on:( and I don't comfort eat...quite the opposite.
Takes a toll on the change of clothing sizes tho.lol

It's been freezing here all day, blue skies tho, very nasty on the pavements.Main roads OK.
Sorry your hip is still playing you up, I had gip with my left one 2 days ago, could hardly walk, but then it cleared up as quickly as it came..weird!
Hope you have some relief with those injections:)

Very funny story of your slide'experience'.
A few yrs ago in Lanzarote we had villa with it's own pool,children were in it all of the time!tho we were only 2 mins from the beach., they upturned me off the airbed, thought it was hilarious! I'm not a good swimmer and was sputtering when I surfaced, thankfully they didn't photograph me!

Whenever the forecasters say' Snow on high grounds' I think..thats us then,and am usually right,whilst we've had over 6 inches the main roads are clear,our isn't too bad,but then I'm used to it now !!

Ive finally got my Christmas tree up, it looks lovely, although just a plastic one. I think next year I will get a pine one, as I really love the smell:-))

Hi Persey and Carole - although I'm not sure I'm talking to Carole....10 years old indeed!! I wasn't much more myself:-))

We've had rain, sunshine, cool wind, a thunderstorm, sunny again and now raining. All since this morning. Crazy weather. However we've had a nice day with a lovely lunch and then finished off our Christmas shopping.

Now I'm paying bills and catching up on emails while OH sleeps off his lunch:-))

Glad you enjoyed your lunch Sue. So nice to spend the day together - something to treasure.

The sprinkles I mentioned this morning stopped as I wrote the post and we have had nothing since. No sun, no rain - but plenty of heat. It has been very bleak all day and still looks that way, but so far, nothing yet.

Isn't it incredible Berona that we live not so far away from each other but the weather can be different.

Carole - I can't top last years Chrissy present for my OH. I bought him a flying lesson. Where do you go from there? How on earth do you find a birthday gift and then a pressie for a week later - men are so hard to buy for.

Nothing for tea tonight - still full from lunch:-))
