Thanks very much for that Laurie, the first one is definitely mine. The second I don`t think is and the third has confused me totally! I have a connection to most Paffetts from the Portsmouth area that have a Henry, but this is a totally new one, I am off to dig around for a connection now. Thanks again, Rebecca

Hi Laurie Very many thanks for your continued help with Henry and Emma Rolf(e). I guess I'll only ever know the proper answer by purchasing marriage certificates. Maybe they just never got married! Thanks again. Lesley

Hi Laurie, Thanks for looking - don't think he would have been married pre 1837 - by 1843 he would have been 20 - I haven't found his marriage though. If you could have a look that would be wonderful. Thanks Christine

Hi Laurie, Another great offer. If you have the time, could you please have a look at 1871 census for St Georges in the East, for Joseph Mortimer(46 yrs) and Jane(40 ish). Interested in any family members and where they were all born. Last known address was 3 Choppins Court, St Georges in the East, Mddlx (in 1861). They had a son, Joseph who was born c. 1852, he may also be at the same address, (with a bit of luck). ha. Any info you may glean would be a great help. Cheers, David in Hants
