Thank you Laurie for your kind offer. Please can you look on the 1871 for John Stoneman b. 1822 North Tawton, Devon. In 1851 he was in North Tawton but by 1881 had moved to East Stonehouse, Devon. Also his son William Stoneman b. 1851 North Tawton. In 1881 he was in Plymouth, Devon.

Susan, I found George: 1871 census Living in Middlesex Geo Woodford 83yrs b Middlesex occ pauper (however when I viewed the image I read it as barman?) The place where he was had a lot of people but half of them haven't even had their names put down, also a lot of them are listed as paupers. Laurie

Hi Laurie Thank you so much for the information on George Woodford and I am sure that is him the occupation couldn't be seaman could it because he is always recorded on records as Mariner. Susan

Laurie, thanks for the look up, but it is not them. Richard Clark was born in Lambeth, and Mary Ann was born in London. There son James Thomas was born in Westminster. If this additional information is enough to be able to find them great, if not, then thanks for looking anyway. Marcelo

Debi, I've looked everywhere and there was no William born in them areas. The only William and Ellen's I found were living in London. One born Bethnal Green and the other born Cheltenham. Both Williams were 50yrs. Laurie
