Marie Anne, On the 1871 there are 3 Tutchers all working as Servants at different residence: Jane 28yrs b Hamcomb, Dorset ------------------------------------------ Mar 22yrs b Sunbury, Middlesex ----------------------------------------- Susan 26yrs b Hamcomb ----------------------------------------- There are 35 listed on the 1891. The following from Pallotts Marriage Index: Mary Bere married Thomas Tutcher 3 June 1805, Somerset Ann Perratt married Wm Tutcher 1804, Taunton John Staple married Joan Tutcher 1792, Somerset. Laurie, That could well be them, thanks. his wife was called Ann, he did have a son called John and a daughter, Sarah around that age born in the same place. Fingers crossed!! Did it say the profession of any of them? George, fingers crossed, their father, was a cordwainer. Thanks! Chloe

Could you do a quick check on my grandmothers place of birth ? She's Esther Harriett Barnett b.1890 andon the 1891 census living with James Barnett and family at Newton Bromswold. On the list you put on the thread it says Bramwell Lodge as her place of birth -I read it quickly and took it to be Barnwell Lodge - can't find a Bramwell Lodge anywhere. Thanks Mary Brooke

Hi Laurie; If possible I would like a look up on any Boakes family in the Lambeth area of London. Also anything on Joseph Benjamin Walker born abt 1836 in Cheltenham, Glouc. I have him on the 1871, 81 and 91 census but nothing before. Thanks Teresa
